[MOD][MC2]Seclauncher Changes - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have modified the home screen to be 5x5, up to 9 screens, app drawer to be 5x7, widget menu to be 2x4, scrollable wallpaper, and slightly quicker page transitions.
This is for Deodexed TW roms

Known issues
some widgets don't seem to scale correctly i.e accuweather takes up 5x3 instead of 5x2 which leaves a blank row under it. I haven't located a fix for this yet. If anyone knows of a fix for this that would be great.
Future items
I would like to be able to figure out how to put the apps icon in the middle instead of to the right side.
Make sure to backup your original before putting this in the system/app folder and also set permissions rw- r-- r--
I have also attached a flashable zip and also the stock launcher as a flashable zip.
I am not responsible if you don't back it up before trying this and end up messing your phone up

for the faster scrolling and scrollable wallpaper

Sweet!
check out our rom website, http://updater.team-nocturnal.com/labrats/

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but what does the sec prefix indicate? I see it on this launcher and the messaging thread.
I am on the latest version of synergy, but wanted 5x5 launcher to take advantage of the real estate on this screen. So, I think this is exactly what I'm looking for, but want to make sure.
Thanks!
**disregard - I see this is how it's named in the system/app folder. Flashed the zip and seems to be working great!

Does this have rotation on the homescreen?

Can you please post that wallpaper?

Here is the wallpaper. See if it uploads ok.

As far as home screen rotation I did not make any changes to the stock launcher to enable it. Only thing I enabled was scrolling wallpaper other then that it was just changing dpi values

Take a look at WidgetLocker, that will allow you to put any widget you have installed on your Lockscreen

Hmmm...that might work. I'm trying to get it to look like the clock app:
Any ideas on what widgets I could use to make it look like that? Minus the bottom buttons for the unlock slider.
Or is there anyway to use the clock app in WidgetLocker?

Here's my homescreen using the free Fancy Widget, would get a bit close, you'd just need to use Widget Locker to put it on your lockscreen. Try both Fancy Widget and Beautiful Widget, you might find one you like

Transparent Lock Screen Theme for Tmobile SGII

Hey fellas, sorry if this has been posted before. But does anyone have the transparent Lock Screen theme files, they can share with me?
I knew they were available at one point with some ICS themes, after flashing but i don't see it anymore. I'm running the GBaxe Ex Version 1.4.1 Rom.
Thanks in advance.
Are you talking about getting a transparent lock screen? If so just set wallpaper as your lock screen wallpaper (make sure its one that didnt come stock) then fix permissions in recovery
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
I tried that, i set a different wallpaper as wallpaper, and lock screen. Went in to recovery, wiped cache, and fixed permissions. Reboot the phone, came back to the locks screen. Wallpaper is still there.

Could always download Widget Locker and then switch your theme to the Transparent theme available in the [XDA Themes] section
Every time I run Fix Permission from ROM Manager app, I get transparent lock screen. See if it works for ya. I am on Tuesday ROM currently.
use Rom Manager to fix permissions. then you'll get the transparent lock screen

Thats weird man, i had lost my transparent lock screen, so I set a wallpaper i got from zedge as my lock screen wallpaper, booted into recovery and fixed permissions and that worked for me, try wiping dalvic cache maybe it'll help
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Okay here's how to do it. Download the attached wallpaper and set it as your home screen wallpaper-do not crop or move at all just hit set. Next set the same wallpaper as your lockscreens wallpaper-do not crop or move at all just hit set. Now reboot into recovery, wipe dalvik, wipe cache, and fix permissions. Reboot and you will have a transparent lockscreens.

[S3 WIDGETS]Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance (different), others

So this is another SGS3 app thread. I've tried installing the yahoo news widget and it works too just like the accuweather clock and s suggest.
Just copy and paste the apks to system/app/ folder. Then change the permissions, make it the same as other apps' permissions in that folder.
If you are a true noob and still don't understand how to change permissions, or if you are too lazy, go to recovery->advanced->fix permissions
I've added other apps too to the .zip, such as the TW UX wallpaper chooser and transparent google widget from the S3.
UPDATE 2305 - Yahoo Finance widget added. I've noticed the S3 has different Yahoo Finance widget and it works when you put it in the S2

Really Great Wallpapers

Hey guys I put together a zip of some wallpapers that I think are really great. I usually use the Touchwiz launcher, so I haven't tested them out with the AOSP style wallpaper cropping and scrolling, but they are fairly high resolution and should look fine.
I take no credit for creating any of these wallpapers. I found these online through various websites such as wallbase and elsewhere.

None of my wallpapers will scroll when I swipe through my desktops. I thought that was just how Samsung set up TouchWiz.
Have you had other wallpapers that will scroll as you swipe?
You're welcome! Also, yes if you are using the stock Touchwiz launcher or are choosing "set as wallpaper" from the gallery, the wallpapers will not scroll. You have set the wallpaper from within a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex to get it to scroll.
Nice set of pics, I will enjoy showing off the phone with these!
I can't wait to read that someone tried flashing this, thinking it was a mod or something, lol
Good bye HTC Rezound, hello Galaxy S3!

It's definitely in the launcher.apk when I was using the TW launcher I changed it. I just forget where exactly it is but I know for sure it's in there
OK so I found the files. They are located in the system/app/secLauncher2.apk/res/drawable-xhdbi
They are called
Ic_allapps.png
Ic_allapps_pressed.png
OK so me like a dummy forgot to copy them before I changed them and I messed something up. Anyone out there feel like sending me the default png?
