Allaince rom mod and theme visual thread

I would request the users of the alliance rom to start putting screen shots and other usefull mod information to enhance the usebility of the rom.
Since the ota update has lot od mods and visuals to try but lacks in preview option which kind of hold backs lot of people to try them. By help of preview and other related information one feels more comfotable and aware what he or she would be getting.
So please update rhis with the screen shots

Thats exactly as the rom. It just removes blue text so you can flash the other themes.

how can we get rid of S3 theme and have other themes.
Or if i want to only get rid of s3 toggles, is that possible.

Just flash theme prep from updates. Will return to the rom theme.

upgrade from v3 to v4.1
I am using the V3 version of your rom for the longest time since I have my SGS2
I have too much of apps and settings that I cannot effort to do a wipe data and cache to freshly install the version v4.1
so I used the theme remover update from the OTA
removed all the theme effects and applied the v4.1 version without wiping the data and cache
Then the Phone just boots and in like 30 seconds reboots again. so it shows the icons and the launcher, but reboots again
any idea

Tw app icon moved...how to replicate?

So I have been running free gs3 for a few weeks now....today, not sure what I did, but I noticed the app icon on TW launcher moved one space to the left (4th spot from left) and I my folder group was in the 5th spot. I started messing with moving icons around and got the app icon to move to the middle, where I loved it being. Thinking this was awesome I did a TB backup and TWRP backup. After reboot, the stupid appnicon is back in the 5th spot and I cannot replicate what happened. Ideas?

Sounds like cache. Clear cache in tw. Reboot. You can try clear data but make sure you have a bakup just in case.

No luck...tried cachemate app to clear cache from apps and then try to move the icon, nada....tried to clear cache/dalvik from recovery and reboot then try the move, nada. Tried to clear app data and then restore the TW backup I made on TB today we the icon moved, nada. Thanks for the suggestion though. I guess it was a glitch but I really want to replicate it.

Download a 3rd party launcher like nova or apex. You can moved them around all you want. Plus a lot of other neat things.

What weather widget are you using?

I know I can use a 3rd party like Nova, but just isn't the same in terms if animations or smoothness.
That weather icon is from One More Clock found in the market.

Blue digital clock

Someone PM'd me about the digital clock I'm using so I thought I'd put up a link to share. Got this a while back and have used it on several roms. Just flash via CWM. If someone knows how to theme the rest or add different colors I'll add it to the OP along with a big THANKS.

I flashed this twice and it doesn't work...my clock widget (digital 4x1) only now shows the date not the clock at all when moved to page for placement. Running stock/rooted LK4.
Anyone have the stock clock that I could re-install? (com.sec.android.widgetapp.digitalclock)

I've never run rooted stock. If I riot then I'm on a custom rom which is why I usually don't have an issue. Also, I use adw-ex or holo hd as my default launcher. I'm also on jelly bean.

When using Nova launcher - yes, the screen I took is my touchwiz, but I did try nova and resizing first....really nice clock, damn it!
Can anyone post up the stock clock please?

Here is the stock apk. Just delete the blue digital clock apk, put this one in system-app and change permissions rw-r--r-- and reboot.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was a widget that would only display the weather, animated preferred. As you can see in my screen shot, I already have a clock and weather as well as the windy weather wallpaper. What I'm hoping to end up with is a widget that i can place over the clock face to have animated clouds scroll by. Back in the day, I had an iPhone with the htc animated weather tweak. It had clouds scrolling and had other weather animations, I want this back. Any one have any ideas? Thanks

Beautiful Widgets have the option to get the animations as soon as you unlock your phone... You can set the duration to whatever you want and you can get clock with weather clock by itself or just weather by itself

Ive tried that but I dont like how it stops the second you touch your screen. I want it to be a continuous animation like the iPhone animated htc clock and weather with perpages html widget tweak. Do you know if that tweak with those animations has been ported to android?

Idk to be honest if that's available for android but I will tell you if it is possible you'll probably get major lag and battery drain..
I had that cydia tweak when I had my iPhone and the battery was atrocious... I had to constantly charge my phone

I have modified the home screen to be 5x5, up to 9 screens, app drawer to be 5x7, widget menu to be 2x4, scrollable wallpaper, and slightly quicker page transitions.

Known issues
some widgets don't seem to scale correctly i.e accuweather takes up 5x3 instead of 5x2 which leaves a blank row under it. I haven't located a fix for this yet. If anyone knows of a fix for this that would be great.
Future items
I would like to be able to figure out how to put the apps icon in the middle instead of to the right side.
Make sure to backup your original before putting this in the system/app folder and also set permissions rw- r-- r--
I have also attached a flashable zip and also the stock launcher as a flashable zip.
I am not responsible if you don't back it up before trying this and end up messing your phone up

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but what does the sec prefix indicate? I see it on this launcher and the messaging thread.
I am on the latest version of synergy, but wanted 5x5 launcher to take advantage of the real estate on this screen. So, I think this is exactly what I'm looking for, but want to make sure.

As far as home screen rotation I did not make any changes to the stock launcher to enable it. Only thing I enabled was scrolling wallpaper other then that it was just changing dpi values

I have the transparent s4 accuweather and it came up as 5x2 when I installed this 5x5 launcher, im not sure u would call it a fix but I just thought id let u know
