Issues with no sound and boot looping

So i have a weird problem with my note 2. For some reason the phone has no sound whatsoever and when i try to make a call or play sound the phone shuts off or freezes. Also when i turn the screen off after 20 seconds or so the phone will not turn on unless i pull battery and power on.
Started after i pulled the battery last week while phone was on went in to replace the vibrate motor. After i booted touch became super laggy, system kept crashing. And phone kept powering on then shutting off after full boot. Probably a dozen times. Ended up damaging my sd card in the process. I've re flashed a few roms and nothing really helps. When i'm in recovery the phone is fine. I've wiped everything a few times also. Currently on 4.3, I was running sky note F1 update 3. I've tried stock, meanbean and even slimkat 4.4.2 but no success. I swapped my board out into another note 2 to see if parts were defective and still have same issue. I havens flashed a bootloader yet though don't see how that is going to change anything. Anyone have some input or help with this would be great.
Thanks.

[Q] 5.1.1 Random reboots ?

Anyone else experiencing an excessive amount of reboots? For as long as I've had my N4, my phone has never restarted by itself. But after updating to 5.1.1, my phone restarts at least 5-6 times a day on any app (snapchat, facebook, camera etc). Should have been a hint to backup my phone because now my phone is on a loop and wont boot up after the AT&T animation. Last resort is obviously a Factory reset. Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: Wiping my cache partition did not fix the issue.
EDIT: Plugging the phone in the charger while rebooting somehow fixed it. Hope that helps someone having the same issues.
Not me.

My device has never rebooted itself since I owned it (bought on 10/30/14). Yesterday, I tapped the camera icon to use the camera and it rebooted. Took forever to boot up because I'm encrypted. Once booted, I again tried to enter the camera and again, rebooted. Now at this point, it will not stop rebooting. It was on a loop that seemed like every 15-20 seconds it would reboot itself and I'd see the Samsung GN4 splash screen. I pulled the battery to stop this since everything else was unresponsive. I restarted the device in recovery mode and cleared system cache. Seemed to work at the time. All was well for a few hours with light usage until I tried to use the Genius Scan+ app. As soon as I tapped the camera button within the app, the device rebooted. Once back up and running, I deleted an app that I sideloaded the day before called Parchi (it's a Microsoft Garage project app not available in the US Play Store). I figured it might have something to do with it since it's the only app I've installed in days. The app seemed to work for the first 24 hours however, I deleted it anyway just to see if that was causing the issue. So far, no further issues with rebooting and my battery life has been great as well. Prior to deleting this app, my battery went from 100% to 35% in like 3 hours with very light usage and maybe 20 minutes of OST.
Back to the issue at hand though, I've had 5.1.1 on my device since day one when AT&T pushed it and no issues with rebooting until yesterday.

LG G3 unresponsive/extremely slow

Hello there. I have to write this again becuase the last topic I wrote didnt get posted...
I have a big problem with my G3 and I have tried everything I could but nothing helped so I hope you can help me.
First of all my phone is only stock. I didnt try rooting it or installing custom roms on it.
Heres the whole story of what happened:
A week ago my phone started to act strangely. When I tried turning the wifi off it restarted or froze for a bit and then went on normaly as if nothing happened. I didnt even have to input my pin. Then one day I got home and the phone simply started reseting itself constantly. Always loaded up to the pin screen but I didnt even have time to input the pin and it reset it self again. This went on for like 15 reset before I lost patience and pulled the battery which didnt help at all since after being turned back on it went back to the reseting. I found online that it was probably a battery problem but I was impatient (shipping to my country is over 2 weeks and buying a battery in stores here costs twice the normal price of a genuine battery but only for a "fake" battery) so I factory reseted it via power button+volume down. After that it worked normally but I lost all my data.
The day after this I spilled ice tea on the phone. I opened it, cleaned it and let it dry out. Turned it on after an hour of drying and it worked but after maybe 2 hours it began freezing. When I tapped on the screen it didnt react, when I pressed the power button it took more then 10 seconds to react to it. It turned on, didnt react to touch and then in mere seconds it went dark and then turned off. I couldnt even unlock the screen. Tried pulling the battery but then it wouldnt even turn on. It stayed on the LG logo. I left it on the logo and on the charger and after an hour or so it turned on and worked normally so I took it apart and cleaned it once more even under the screws and such and it worked after that. Until today.
The freezing problem returned. I was playing a game on it and chatting via messenger when the phone stopped reacting. I had signal, wifi, I got new notifications and basically everything on it worked but the screen didnt react to touch and when pressing the power button it took over 10 seconds to light up the screen, then it went darker and then it shut down. Couldnt do anything. After I pulled the battery it would get stuck in a boot loop for maybe 10-15 minutes and then load but the phone couldnt be used. Just as before the screen turned on with a delay but no reaction to touch whatsoever.
I tried factory reset, downgrading to a lower android version (from 6 to 4) with LGUP and lg flash tool, and I bought a new battery. Nothing worked. I managed to get it to android 4 but that didnt help either. I though it was a problem with 6 because the problem started after the update, before that I didnt have a single problem with my phone.
Now its in a state where it doesnt work. The phone is running, apps are upgrading after the factory reset and all that but I cant do anything with it. Once in a while it will work normally as if nothing but that is rare.
Could you please help ? I love this phone and I dont want to have to sell it for spare parts.
EDIT: I left the phone running to see what would happen an after several hours an error message appeared saying "Process system isnt responding". After pressing ok it worked fine. How can I fix this. I googled it but all I found was a problem with sd card (none is inside), with battery (I have a new one) and with rooting (mines not rooted).

The slow death of my Note 4

Hello!
Everything was working fine until my phone started acting up about 6 months ago. The screen began to become unresponsive, apps crashed when switching between them and random reboots occurred frequently. I thought back then it had to be software related, so I completed multiple factory resets, and completely removed everything on my phone. It became slightly more usable, but these crashed and random reboots still occurred.
Last week, my phone continued to reboot, but a new problem occurred-it no longer would turn on after the reboot. I tried plugging it into the wall, pressing the volume down + home + power to force bootloader mode, but it wouldn't turn on at all. The fix was I had to remove the entire case, take out the battery and put it back in the phone. After that it would turn on, but only for a few minutes before another random reboot occurred and I had to remove the entire battery again. My phone is now virtually useless as I cant before even the basic functions, calling and texting without it becoming unresponsive or shutting off and not turning on.
I narrowed it down to the eMMC chip. I am almost certain that is corrupt, because during some of the reboots it would fail and throw me into download mode with the error:
mmc0_read_fail
or something along those lines. My last attempt at recovering the phone was to the stock rom PE2 with a PIT file (I had created before I started flashing custom roms). Each time I would attempt to flash with ODIN it would result in a:
mmc0_write_fail
However, I was finally able to get the PIT and PE2 firmware to flash. Now I have a half-working phone that will randomly reboot still and in order to turn it back on, the battery has to be pulled out for a minimum of 15 seconds.
New Issue I just noticed: When the screen turns off when the phone is inactive, it won't turn on again after pressing the power or home buttons. Only solution to this is once again, pull battery and hope I boot into system again.
I am pretty sure there is no fix to this problem on the software side, but let me know if you have a suggestion! Thanks!
Same situation. This thing is a lemon!
Sounds like hardware failure.
Replaced the battery yet? My original didn't last fifteen months before it started shutting the phone down. It's the first thing I think of when someone reports having to pull the battery.
Are you checking battery capacity before the battery pull by plugging in when it shuts down? Mine showed 0%. Before the shutdown, it may have indicated as high as 30%. It gets worse.
You didn't mention capacity when plugged so I thought I'd ask.

One of my note 4 had same issue. Its a hardware issue. I was able to get the phone working by using a heatgun on the motherboard to try and reflow the solder on the chips. The phone works like brand new after the heatgun but the phone would only work for like 3 or 4 days before crapping out again. Ultimately ended up buying a used motherboard on ebay with a clean esn and its working perfectly again.
My wife's Note 4 started the random reboot thing and screen being unresponsive thing last week. She said it randomly started after installing Snapchat, so she uninstalled it hoping that would fix it. It didnt. I put a new battery in it thinking the original was bad, but still same issues. Then did a factory reset but that didnt work. After a lot of searching I stumbled on to someone who mentioned downloading an app called Wakelock. I did and phone has been running smoothly for several days now.
I also recently did the most recent update hoping that would fix the issue, it didnt but during the install I did get one error of emmc read failure or something like that. May just order a used/new motherboard just in case.
Just be careful when swapping out the motherboard as it essentially is taking apart the whole phone including the removal of the LCD.

HELP!!! Is this bootloop hardware related or software or is this phone dead??

Ok, first time poster, so I hope I can explain this all the right way.
So I bought an ATT branded note4 outright, refurbished and unlocked so I could use it here in Australia.
It was working fine for about 8mths and until last month started to drop all signal and reboot, but when it would reboot it would still show no signal
and reboot again after about 2 minutes.
This process would take at times an hour or two to come right and return to normal with full signal. (This would happen daily)
While it was in this rebooting loop it would seem hotter in the top half of the screen, thinking it was a battery issue I bought another battery
and also tried my partners battery but was having the same issues regardless.
Thinking it might have been the firmware, I updated to the ATT 5.1.1 ROM, but now that 2minute window that I had before is now taken up by "Optimizing app # of 23"
and it gets to between app# 12/18 and then freezes and reboots into this crappy bootloop.
I have tried safe mode/recovery mode/removed sd card/factory reset/clear cahe.. EVERY combination you could think of,
but one thing I have noticed is that when in recovery mode it doesn't turn off after a couple of minutes, I can leave it on that menu for 20 minutes and it wont have an issue.
I've been told it could be anything from the motherboard packing it in, to a "virus"(?), to a corrupted EFS file.
Does anybody here have any clue or could point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance
Anyone???
