Ive been trying all sorts of different approaches but none seem to work.
Someone also said since I did the t-mobile update I cant root. I find that hard to believe because xda devs always find a way.

They are possible, but not common. I think I've seen maybe one rom that included this. Can't remember which though.

Pretty sure it takes some smali edits which not very many of our guys in the dev section have learned yet, it seems. I hate those low battery warnings... I remember whitehawkX said in the g2x forum that it took him a very long time to figure out how to remove them on the stock based roms. I looked and looked for a way to do so or at least to help the devs out, but couldn't find a tutorial... might search some more tonight

Try pulling the battery out.
I would use cf auto root.

Please don't spam threads with bumping, many of us are just doing our day jobs and will respond when we get home.
Here is the link you requested (if you had searched in the t-mobile forums it would have shown up)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963806
I still suggest pulling the battery, even if you have rebooted multiple times. Mobile odin + cf autoroot = awesome.

I really was not trying to come off rude, if I did I do appologize. For you to really be able to do it and do it right you need to read up in the threads, I know there are a lot of pages but you will find a lot of information about things that worked and did not work.
If you did not do the update when you got your phone go to the motochopper root thread in the general section and follow the instructions. I have been rooting phone for about 4 yrs, since the G1 was released and I never decided to even join XDA until about a year later. I did all on my own by just reading and searching the forums.
Again was not trying to be rude, just passing on how I did it and most of the people here also did it.
Use the motochop method if you didnt update your device to MDL. Its super easy and fast.

Thanks guys I got it rooted I appreciate your help.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Please read up on rooting before you actually root it. You could brick your device and If you're a noob it will be hard to recover it.

Lol harsh but i agree if your gonna port everything from the s4 to your phone you might as well just buy the phone. I rather go with custom ****.

Why reply to posts if your not going to help. Maybe the devs should make a room for ignorant ppl to go to and complain about someone trying to accomplish a tweek. Isn't that the whole idea behind technology? If your not going to help, don't post. Anyway I have a s4 on its way. Will see if I can't port the app for you. Anything else you like in the s4 software?
