Recently i installed Arconium ICS on my arc s - .431 with xArc kernel....
scrolling is laggy it really isnt fast or smooth? is it the kernel or 4.0.4 ICS? if it is the kernel should i use stock or is their a way to make it more smoother and faster?
I've never had issues with stock, however others do complain of similar issues. You can try the mod that enables software rendering which apparently increase the smoothness.

do u have a link for stock .431?
had the same problems with arconium after upgrading from gingerberad , you can't really do much about, the stock sony ics is simply far from smooth on our arc , that's why i switched to AOSP based roms
yeh iv heard about these problems, but it was to move to ICS based ROMS
for me arconium ics v4 was laggy rom & battery eater rom>
Is their a way to make it fast or smooth?

Hey Guys,
Do any of u know of a working Android 4.2 camera for the Xperia Arc S (on racing bean rom v2.0.1/jellybean 4.1.2)?
I currently have it on my phone, though all the screen shows me is flashing lights, buttons do work but again it does not display anything. I would really appreciate it, thank you for your help

Photosphere will never work, because arc and arc s haven't got a gyroscope!

Is cybershot app mod available for any JB rom and if not will it ever be available?
I have searched hard enough but failed to find it.
Which is the best camera mod for JB roms? I am using SJB.

So far, no one has succeeded porting sony's camera to non-sony JB ROM.
Maybe it is a trade off we must pay for JB speed. Believe me, everytime I use a JB ROM, I always goes back to sony's ICS ROM because of the camera.

The question is whether it will ever be possible to use any cybershot mod on JB roms.
If not, I'll have to switch back to ICS with a heavy heart...

Camera FV-5 has a few otherwise missed features: [play.google.com]
I'm planning on switching to CM10.1 sometime. If anyone tries this out on a JB rom sooner, please report back. Thanks!
FV 5 and cybershot are completely poles apart. It's for full manual control while the later is for powerful automatic mode. Plus its not free (limits resolution) and is not good enough to be purchased.

You're missing the point. It's not as good as Cyber Shot but it brings a few features (excluding scenes) to Cyanogen roms that would otherwise be stuck with the stock app. If you're running a Cyber Shot compatible Rom, stick to Cyber Shot.
Try Ucam Application. It's not a mod but it's a good app.
i have tested a lot of roms like cm ,, miui ,,aokp but what about roms based on stock does the camera perform better ???
in other term stock base will be slower right ?
Well stock based roms work best (ics and latest JB)
I know my rom works decent because i have been trying to get the camera to work better, kinda does
Cm10 is decent but its weird to use and also less functions
Thats all i remember

Stock will be always best, because it has all the Sony stuff related to camera to make them work the best
