i had the same problem .. if your phone is not rooted yet.. the update from software update should fix it ..as it did in my case…
the problem arises from the korean u - wifi and u - mobile components when surfing from a non korean router
The device is new. Im sure a ota will fix this. That or custom roms.

This is my first post so hello to everyone.
First of all, i apologize for my bad english.
For about a month I`m a user of LG E975. Telephone is brilliant, but I have one issue.
I use very often GPS navigation, and I am used to use program called "Automapa".
This is a polish program. On my earlier device HTC HD 2 everything works fine, but
on LG E975 GPS Signal is very unstable. One time it is, but after a few second it`s vanished, and
the situation repeats. This is not dependent on the weather.
Other aplications, like tomtom, naviexpert, or google maps works fine.
Could anyone tell me what is the problem? Is the GPS reciver on LG so weak?
I would like to enclose the trial version, but I can`t do it without 10 posts,
so if anyone would like to help I can send the trail version by PM, or mail.
If anyone can test it, or solve the problem I`ll be grateful
Try gpsfix from market.
Maybe the app can't properly use the hardware.

I have tried Fasterfix and GPS Status&Toolbox from market.
Situation has not change.
I think that problem is deeper inside.

Did you root your phone. ....and what else you did kernel. ....rom ..recovery .....etc
You need to know that HTC devices use real aGPS assisted lock and top notch internal hardware. .

I have rooted phone, but still oryginal firmwere.
If there is a chance to improve gps working on other rooms I can try to change it.
I didn`t do it because everything else works fine for me on stock rom.
Is there a custom rom for LG E975 that works like a stock?
Im tired of changing roms on HTC HD2, I have changed about 30 roms on HD2.
I have bought LG to have some spare time
But if there is no other option I will do it
Hello, i have the E975 version with asylum rom (android 4.3), wifi is slow, and yes, i know.. is a bug in 4.3 versions but.. 3G as well?, with that, the flicker in screen and with no way to change the music of notifications.. the only good thing it has is the antialias.. well.. i want to repair it because i don't want to go back to stock.. but at this rate...

I run asylum and i didnt notice any screen flicker or slowness with 3G... Maybev it is ur network that has problems also be sure to use the latest builds

yesterday I received my LG Optimus G Pro, which I have ordered at AliExpress.
The happiness soon was replaced by dissapointment. The Wi-Fi is not working at all.
Firstly with Android 4.1 it connected to my home WiFi and I had internet access for about a minute. Then the phone crashed and rebooted. After updating to stock KitKat the behaviuor was slightly different: The WiFi buttons switches on and off during conncetion. So no access to my home WiFi at all.
I recorded a (bad quality) video of it. Just search on Google/YouTube for
"LG Optimus G Pro (F240L) - Wi-Fi problem"
Is it a hardware issue? Or is there anything I can do about it?
Hard reset (Power+Volume down) doesn't work either.
It's the Korean F240L version, by the way. Maybe some of the provider crapware interferes?
Quite a shame, because the rest of the phone is amazing. Really enjoy it. But no working Wi-Fi is a no-go.

I have seen in other forums for OTA update, they have the wifi problem same as I do
So when you are connecting to a Wifi, it will suddenly dropped to a really low signal or disappear for a good min or so, then come back again, so I got disconnected
When you do a scan in settings, you don't see any SSID around, this happen quite often and anyone know how to fix?

Anyone here got lollipop running on V500 and got no Wifi bug?
I´m losing sometimes the connection. There is no signal drop it just there is no data flow anymore. Seems to happen only in situations where signal isn´t perfect but also not really bad. Might also be a problem of interference with other WIFI APs in the same distance as the AP actually connected to.
I do have the same FW since it come out.
No problems at all. WiFi is working always and no freezes or disconnection.

the point is that my GPS locates and places but does trakking .... when using WiFi or thetering from another GPS cell moves me and makes trakking perfectly .. but when using mobile data does not work and gives leap from place to other. I've already set the GPS.conf several times and I have no positive response. I need help.
