I may be missing something, but is there a way to add (or enable) the Tun driver? I am currently running stock rooted MC2 with the latest Perseus kernel. I can't seem to get OpenVPN to work and I was told the Tun driver was the reason.

I just installed the sprintlovers rom. Is there a way to get a tun.ko kernel running with this rom? I love the similarities with the regular evo but would like to run vpn also. (I'd ask in the sprintlovers subforum, but I'm too new to this forum..
The easiest way is to flash a kernel that was compiled with the tun.ko module. I run netarchy-4.3.2-cfs-nosbc-havs-less, but I think all of netarchy's kernels have the tun.ko module compiled in.

Does anyone know if there are any flashable BLN maybe kernels that only have BLN that i can just install by itself. I really like my stock rom so any help would be appreciated.
Like flashing BLN to the system without having to install a kernel or a rom to do it.
just flash any of BLN enabled ROM from Dev section
and install BLN App from market
yes, this is one of the few phones with an actual decent and speedy stock ROM
I know but im trying to find a kernel that just adds very very little and adds BLN support.
EDIT: Never i think synergy is the most miminal i can get.
Hi
I'm trying to get CIFS mount to work on my Arc (not s) with Sony stock ICS.
I followed this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1072214
According to the thread, the modules are compiled against Kernel 2.6.32.9 and ICS seems to still use that kernel.
But when I try to load the cifs module the phone reboots.. (all other modules in the package loads correctly).
Am I missing something?
Anyone that got this working on stock ICS?

Hi guys, I installed ViperX 4.0 and I'd like to get a cifs.ko module which is compatible with that particular rom.
Kernel version is 3.1.10-g7f360be.
Can I get any old cifs.ko and place it in the modules folder?
Thanks
