I just installed the sprintlovers rom. Is there a way to get a tun.ko kernel running with this rom? I love the similarities with the regular evo but would like to run vpn also. (I'd ask in the sprintlovers subforum, but I'm too new to this forum..
The easiest way is to flash a kernel that was compiled with the tun.ko module. I run netarchy-4.3.2-cfs-nosbc-havs-less, but I think all of netarchy's kernels have the tun.ko module compiled in.

I am curious to know if anyone would know how to add the psfreedom hack to say the netarchy kernel or some other kernel that will still give me the customization I need like setcpu and wifi?
Does anyone have a link to the kernel that is originally flashed with this ROM? I was testing out others and forgot to do a back up and would really like to have this kernel back. I downloaded Koush's test kernel from ROM Manager but I feel more comfortable just going back to the stock CM6.1 RC2 Kernel.
Thanks!
I've searched all over for a kernel that would work but the only ones I can find are ASOP and while Athena isn't sense it is based of an not sure it will work. Anyone know of a SBC kernel that would work.
Thanks
Send me your email and ill send you ziggys kernels.
Looking for the stock htc kernel #15.
Just take it off myns or mikfroyo roms
There is a link to it here

I am sorry, I just noticed that it is actually based on netarchy's kernel.
it is in kernel manager too, with and without sbc

Hey thanks guise.
Is there one? I'm currently running Chad's 12/23 on a custom Froyo ROM, and really want to switch over to a Gingersense ROM, but when I flashed the leaked stock Gingerbread ROM it wouldn't boot with the 12/23 kernel. There aren't really any other Sense kernel's here anymore that aren't very outdated, and Chad's thread says that his latest Gingerbread kernel's don't play well with Sense.
Can anyone point me to a kernel that has multitouch enabled and works fine on Gingerbread with Sense?
For the Q & A Forum.
No, not until the official GB with Sense source is released.
The only kernel that'll work with GingerSense right now is the one it comes with. HTC hasn't dropped the source code for GB sense kernels yet. Once they do, there will be a bunch of custom kernels out there for us.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running a random CM7 nightly.
Chad @incredikernel said that he may work on a kernel for gingersense next week.
