I would greatly appreciate any help!
Two days ago my phone was having problems updating themes. I was rooted with
Clockwork 2.5.05 for the longest time but when the update for 2.5.1 was pushed I didn't think twice and I updated. Now I couldn't restore or flash because recovery would hang at MD5 Sums. After two days of nonstop attempts and fails I decided I would just backup everything on my computer and unroot, then reroot fresh.
So I unrooted my phone and thought everything would be fine. Nope, my phone was reset back to 2.1update1. Now Unrevoked wasn't working when I tried to root.
Now I found this page
http://androidforums.com/incredible...root-your-incredible-whatever-its-status.html
and followed and did step 2. That installed succesfully, but now I couldn't find a working to the May update. Luckily I found a link on the forums here and was able to install.
This may be where I went wrong but I accidentally flashed step 5 before step 4. But either way both step 4 and 5 installed without a hitch.
Now step 6 wouldn't work. It would error out at Update 7 or something along those lines.
Now I'm stuck with a phone with the Unrevoked splash screen(I like it, I just can't take it in to a verizon store and get a new phone under warranty because clearly I was messing with it), I think 2.2, and I can't put it into USB mode though my computer recognizes it under Device Manager. It hangs whenever I try to pull down the status bar.
On top of that I can't access any wireless network, both wifi and verizons, and
i can't get passed the activation screen because of that.
Reseting from the bootloader doesn't fix it, factory reseting from recovery doesn't fix it(Verizons built in recovery, step 5 uninstalled clockwork).
I am very lost
I think I unwillingly traded one of my nine lives to the devil.
My phone, has been fixed.
By a complete blunder, or at least I think so, my phone has been corrected.
I got tired of the constant reboots and "System crashes" that would ail me before I even got to the Phone Activation screen I thought I would try and activate it even though I had a X where the reception bars are.
To my absolute astonishment after a minute or two pause my phone is dialed through and begins the *228 update!(Later today at work my friend suggested that the 228 number works like an emergency number and dials on whatever network is available.)
My phone reboots and I have access to the home screen! I still can't pull down the status bar and have X bars but this is better than nothing! Feeling headstrong I open up Revoked and try rooting
It works!...sort of
It goes through the full process and when I get to the home screen I'm on a stock 2.2 device! Oddly no root however
I boot to clockwork and install su-2.3.4-ef and payload-update.
And now it works somehow! S-on is back as well. I just got back from work and have successfully rooted! I really hope this is a Karma cash in
Got the OTA Lollipop update today via the Software Centre in the phone. Downloaded and proceeded to install the update V20e-DEC-03-2014 and everything was going fine until I got to Updating Software (2/2) at 90% when the thing just stays there, then this jumbled text appears (attached image) and then it'll reboot back to this screen. And it just keeps doing so every few minutes.
Now I'm stuck in this cycle, and I can't seem to get out of it. Please help!

Okay first off, were you rooted or Bump'd? That shouldn't have caused what appears to be the start of some sort of kernel panic, but it may be an underlying issue. It may also have just been a bad download that flashed incorrectly. Either way, try returning to stock and taking the OTA straight from the stock rom if you dont care about rooting or running custom roms. Otherwise, immediately root and Bump your phone after returning to stock and never ever take an OTA update as it could seriously screw you up. With all that said, here is the link to return your G3 to stock, just be sure to choose your exact model number correctly.

If you don't know what your model number is, take off your battery cover, remove the battery, check the model from the info sticker and verify that it matches the numbers posted around the inside edge of the phone (D850, vs985, ls990, D855, F400k, something like that).
a long time ago I flashed my HTC one with the ViperOneM8 version 4.3.0 but recently a new version of that has came out, version 4.5.1. After successfully flashing the new update I was waiting on my phone to update and be ready to use when I realised that my phone has been stuck on the "android is upgrading" message for a very long time. The message come after the "Optimizing apps *number* out of *number*" message. Iv tried to turn the phone off by holding the power button for over 1 minute but nothing happened and now I'm puzzled. I would appreciate any help that anyone could give me. PS I don't have any way to get a picture of the message.
*UPDATE* I let the phone run out of battery and booted back into recovery and flashed the ROM again with no problems but just before I get access to the phone I get the same problem.
May need to update your firmware.
Do fastboot getvar all, and post the output (be sure to delete IMEI and serial number before posting, as these are private info).
I unrooted back to stock after a boot loop problem (trying it to see if it fixed the problem), turned out all I needed was a new battery. Anyway, I upgraded to 6.0 since my phone wouldn't let me do it, and now, my IMEI is "null" and it says "service disabled" on the front screen. I have seen this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58171492&postcount=13 but in the video version and it doesn't work at all for me. My QPST doesn't recognize my phone at all and won't show up on there.. Is there any other way or am I totally screwed? Thank you!
Hello.
Oneplus 5t 8/128.
The system is in stock, the bootloader is locked.
Please tell me. When updating by air with official firmware, the phone becomes a brick, a black screen and a blue indicator are on. When recovering from an article on this forum, everything starts working again until the next update by air.
A month ago, an update came over the air to version (9.0.7-> 9.0.8), it downloaded, the phone turned off, turned on, and the update began. In the middle of the process, an error occurred("Installation failed. Reboot"), after which the device turn on, black screen and blue indicator is on.
I wrote to tech support where they restored it to me in the same way that in the article. Yesterday an update came (9.0.8-> 9.0.9) and the exact same thing happened.
Now the question. This is a problem in the mechanical part of the device (although previously everything was normally updated) (the phone dropped a couple of times from a short distance long time ago, but there are no chips and everything works, except for updates by air) or in software? What do you advise? Thanks for the answer
Download full zip and flash
Then check same thing occurs
