Im ruining Hyperdrive sl13 and my only problem so far is that my external sd card seems to be going in and out for no apparent reason, was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

What do you mean keeps going in and out? You mean, that you see a message in the status bar saying "sd card mouted" then "sd card unmounted"?

Have you tried a different ROM to see if its a ROM issue or a hardware issue?

I get random unexpected unmounting of the sdcard on every ROM.. I really don't feel like seeing if formatting the sdcard will fix it but any ideas..?

This happened to my wife's phone it turned out to be a hardware issue. Go back to stock to confirm that it still isn't working. If you have TEP then you will get a replacement.
Ok gang, I keep getting a error saying chameleon stopped working. Does anyone know how to get rid of this. Also, can anyone explain what Chameleon is? Thanks

I did this too. Then I wanted to run an ljc rom so I did odin method back to stock and still getting the fc. I see quite a few people having the same issue unless they just flashed modem.

I too am having this issue and it started when I installed an LK8 rom and went back to an LKC rom. I even went and downloaded and installed a complete factory LKC image using Odin and it did no good. There are lots of folks having this issue all over the 'net and no one has a fix that I can find.
I tried freezing it with TB, but then any apps that require root access won't work. Very frustrating to say the least!
I got mine replaced from sprint because I was within the 14 day limit. In the process of doing that I realized, theres an option in the twrp recovery that deletes your internal drive, so that when you try to reboot it warns you that no os is installed. I believe you can flash a stock rom after that. Then just start over and reroot.

Phone is rooted with stock rom with just stock apps. I have been noticing that once I am in any app phone will freeze and it will reboot.
I checked the battery its not hot so dont know whats causing the reboots , its driving me nuts ..

Sounds like some corrupt data somewhere. If it were me, I'd do a clean wipe and reflash.
wipe data, partition cache and dalvik cache. flash the stock rom.
Ok will do . Lets hope its not a defective phone

I had a similar issue with one of my phones.. It ended up being a defective phone, and this was after it was rooted.. My wife's phone also rooted never had a issue.. If you feel it is defective after trying the above, flash back to full stock, and return it. Tell Sprint you are invoking your Samsung Warranty.. Sprint will always try to get you to use your insurance, which is bullpoop..
Phone is outside the return period so either it gets replaced by samsung or Sprint

If you have a SD Card - you might want to remove it to see if that helps as well. borked sd cards can cause the phone to act rather weird. I hope its just a simple fix.

Thats true. I've seen that happen several times
Try just reformatting your sdcard if you have one: back it up to your computer, format your sd, then restore all your files

Every time I go to use my phone when it's asleep I notice the SD Card symbol with the cog in it. Now it doesn't read my card and there's an exclamation Mark in the symbol. I'm curious if it remounts every time upon waking up?
Re: [Q] is it normal for my memory card to"unmount"when my phone goes to sleep?

I'm using Whompasaurus ROM, and when screen is off, then turns back on, it shows the card umounted , then remounted. Anyone experiencing this and is there a fix?
