Not bad, but normally you get what you pay for.
When you're talking about protecting a $500 device, why not shell out the extra $10 and just get a REAL Otterbox. They're awesome cases, you must know that already...and it's like insurance.
If/when you have kids, do you really want the cheapest car-seat you can find, or do you want the best protection?
My thoughts...thanks nonetheless, for the link.

Pay the extra 10 for the real thing. Saving and cheaping out on this is silly.

Unfortunate, I always thought it was being worked on.

I might buy this just to try this out. Im waiting for Ballistic to make one of their HC series for us. As of now they replied saying that they have no plans to. I really need extremely durable case.

it was confirmed by an otterbox rep that they will never make one for our phones. they care more about those crappy iphones that always break

I guess those iphone cases are making them money. Oh well, sticking to my Seidio I guess.

I don't think it does. Atleast it doesnt look like it.
- I emailed the seller, but I doubt it does!
- Seller replied and it does not come with any screen protector.

They make one for the ATT (regular and skyrocket) and International versions of the SGS2, but not the T989

saw the white version of this case. I was intrigued but I just couldnt deal with the bulk. As it is I have an Incipio Silicrilic that I find too bulky. I know we want protection for our phones but I just like less bulk. Cant wait for real pics though maybe I'll change my mind.

Maybe not a box that says T989 on it but there is a Otterbox that fits our phones.

Yes it does, you just have to modify it a bit. If this case doesnt do well I might buy a defender and do some work to it.
Edit- However there is a post about the infuse that needs much less modifying.

Wood case?

I would love to find a wooden case. I've been Googling until my fingers fell off a few minutes ago. Thank goodness for ICS speech to Text. If anyone can help, I would gladly offer my sister as payment.

I was just going to say that it probably would be best to get a skin that looks like wood that can be put around it.

I've never delved in to the dark world of skins. Do they get nasty over time? Leave a sticky residue on the phone if/when you remove them? Will they "wow" the ladies?

buddy of mine has a wood skin and his phone does great with the ladies. not sure about him though, hes pretty suave but also single....at least hes got a wood skin. his is nice--not nasty (its been a week or two). he loves it. i like it too.

Not that it helps with your particular inquiry, but there's a new phone where the outer shell is made from bamboo. That's awesome

I actually saw this yesterday or the day before and that's where this all started. I think, in my head, the concept of a wood phone seems ridiculous, but I love the look.

It certainly is a more sustainable option vs. plastic or aluminum IF it offers the same function and performance. But in the meantime, we have cases that look like wood

1. No they dont get nasty. I have one on my galaxy tab 10.1 and it still looks good to me. If they do look nasty to you then you can probably just wipe it down with a damp paper towel or whatever and it should look as good as new.
2. No sticky residue either, it is much like peeling off a screen protector, if you do find some residue left over just a quick wipe and it would come off.
3. Depends on what kind of wood they are looking for...

Just shot this video on a pretty cool case. The only problem with this case for me is the colors. No matte, or no cases without the little sparkles on it, however still a pretty solid case

Great review Raul. I had one of these a few weeks ago and they are beautiful, but it's on it's way back for a refund. It just wasn't quite sturdy enough and doesn't hug the device the way I like it.

Thanks ShayD.! honestly its a good case but I think I got used to the quality (and price range) of diztronic so any other tpu case i compare it to theirs..and non of them get close to it lol

Tempered glass S/P in the UK?

Can anyone recommend a decent priced glass screen protector in the uk? Ideally I'd like to cover the whole screen with cut outs for the grill rather than a big chunk missing at the top, but not a must

So far pretty impressed with this screen protector. For the price can't wrong and feels quite nice to slide about on.

I don't understand people paying more than a couple of quid for a glass screen protector. I bought the cheapest one off eBay, does the job fine! Im expecting it to crack if i drop my phone... As that is it's job, im not sure what added bonus you get by paying for a more expensive one!

Tried one the same binned it straight away. Glass on glass is asking for trouble. Not practical goes no where near far enough. Avoid.

Wish I would have read this post first. I bought that Stomob case. It does look good with the translucent cover but within 6 hours of putting it on I had 3 large scratches across the screen of my brand new OP7 Pro. The hard plastic cover (it isn't glass - likely polycarbonate) grinds into your screen. I'm super bummed and will see if Stomob stands behind their product at all that they claim ensures screen protection.
I've used clamshell cases on other phones for years without ever getting a scratch - this case causes scratches - avoid at all costs.

Thanks y'all for this info, the adds are awesome, but not the case. I'm going to keep using the provided case until I can find one I really want. It'll have to be a clear back as I'm not covering my Nubia up!!

Yeah totally agree. This case rocks and at half the cost. I looked at a few other cases similar to this stomob one but was concerned about the effects, if any, of the magnets on reception. Can't go wrong with a Supcase tho... Got mine off Amazon at under $13.

No. They're the only option for this kind of case. That sucks. Which is why I question the idea of modding other cases in order to have a bumper-only case. RS cases are just not that great, IMO.

Agree. They're not. I used them on my 6p and if you drop the phone, it's a scuff mark. The paint job peels quite easily as well.
