I'm trying to flash the LT28i firmware but no matter where I put it, FlashTool isn't seeing the ftf file. Any suggestions?
Just copy the firmware (ftf) to folder Flashtool> Firmwares
( copy inside the folder of Firmwares)
If it didn't show any files after doing this in Flashtool, like (system.sin, meta.inf)then i think there is a problem in ftf so try download any other ftf of Ion

Not really, unless someone creates a flashable zip with stock fw using a rom creator and transfers it you by bluetooth, but that would be stupid because in the time it's taken to transfer a bluetooth file you could have put on a computer, run flashtool, dl'd the stock ftf, flash the phone, gone to a pub and had a beer
Thank you for the prompt response.

Alright but i don't how to and i don't know how long that would take me and seeing as i can just download a .zip their you go.
Use winRAR and flashtool for that.
With the help of winRAR you can extract the .ftf file. Then if you want app you can use system.sin and with flash tool extract .sin file. Search the thread for that in xda it is available.
Hit thanks if I helped you

I want to go back to stock r800a 2.3.4. I download flashtool 0.9.13 or even the latest one (0.9.16) and put the rom file R800a_4.0.2.A.0.42_North America.ftf in firmware folder of flashtool. Then launch flashtool. The problem is, I only see x10 BLreLock rom that come with flashtool. but I can not see the rom I need.
Any help ?
When you are at the screen where you have to select the Firmware click on the 3 Dots(On the top right corner) and select the folder where you saved the Firmware. Also make sure that the file extension is .ftf

A little searching always helps You find what is needed..
I think there is no need for You to extract as Your files are already extracted.
