You guys can flash att galaxy note II rom and or any other gnote II base rom as long as you copy over your ril blobs, sdcard blobs to the desired non att gnote II rom.

Hmm... you sure about that? So in theory i could flash cm10 thats for the international note 2?

So long as it has the same chip set and same partition tables. We can not flash international roms cause of that reason, read and check... in theory, it should be just like our phones.

How abot sprint room can we flash one of those

[Q] GT-N7100

Hi, i have this phone...
GT-N7100
Android: 4.1.5
Baseband: N7100ZCALH3
Kernel: 3.0.13-93991
Build: JRO03C.N7100ZCALH40
The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..
I really hope on some help
If you need additional info, i will provide anything you need... JUST want this phone to work 100%

I live in Shanghai and the last time I saw a Android 4.1.5 was on a fake Galaxy S3.
If it's a fake Note2 there's nothing XDA can do for you.

What is the spec of this china note 2? Screenshot if you can?

It cud be a clone note 2 as I saw on web there are few AHD singapore note being slod for cheap price.

I root with kingo because cannot enter dload mode. Then I install mobile Odin
And it says ..but with an expected partition layout. How I going to solve this

I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one

Mine is I think original Samsung Galaxy Note II or the least recond bcoz I checked at the back Samsung made in Korea assembled in china and comes with warranty. And FYI I would like to flash cwm ROM and flash 4.2+ like jellybean or kitkat sir but I just can't enter download mode but I didn't yet used adb download mode bcoz its very big to download man.half a gig.Thanksgiving

[Q] Android 4.3 for Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100

Hi,
I just got my wife's phone from repaire and they changed to rom to 4.1.1 not samsung official.
I want to make her happy and update her phone to 4.3 with the galaxy note 3 featuers.
I am new and I only used odin so far.
Can anyone PLEASE help me how to get the best rom for her Galaxt Note 2 GT-N7100 with detaild instructions so I can make her happy (-:

You should stick with 4.1.2 for now.....4.3 is much much slower and has worse battery life.... wait till samsung fixes 4.3. It is bad on S4, S3 too

I run 4.3
custom TW rom with only rooted, deodexed and knoxfree. No other tweaks has been done.
It is fast, smooth, and battery is good.

Mate, there's a lot 4.3 TW rom under N7100 development.
Just choose whichever u want, READ and UNDERSTAND carefully the instructions, then u can flash to try.
If u read and still don't understand, don't flash first.

Don't update. It doesn't have 4.3 features and only adds Knox. You're better off with 4.1.2

most of the 4.3 tw rom is knox free, just read the instruction carefully

i'm using custom rom D3 (search for ditto Ver 3). It's 4.3 & has all (almost) note 3 spec (air command especially). Read the OP & you wouldnt have issue with it!

The update is not released to all regions at once. You can update manualy by downloading original Samsung stock ROM from SamMobile and flashing it via Odin if you don't want to wait...

Thanks dalanik. Could you please offer any advice if you can use one of these vanilla 4.3 roms on any Note 2?

Ditto Note 3 for those Note 3 spen features. Download ROM for 4.3 if u want stock ROM. Any country SHOULD work. (Just make sure the frequencies for Telstra and the ROM u download is correct.) (PM for in depth explanation )

Currently I use Ditto Note 3 DN3 for my N7105... works fine with only a few bugs. I tried the previous DN3 when they were for 4.3 and also the the betas
With all respect for the developers... they have done a beautiful job... but I would really like my Note 2 to be more Note 3:ish...
Is there a ROM out there that gives a more pure Note 3 look?
I have tried some lauchers and also a couple of Accuweathers that are supposed to work... these I have tried on a stock deodexed 4.4.2 but I can´t get them to work.
Any ideas on what to do? What ROM to try?

Try BlackTox rom . But I don't know that it will work on N7105 or not? It's also like DN3 rom .
