Another guy had the same problem the other day. This is something new to me though. I have seen alot and done alot on different phones so it's really strange. Does it stay on the screen all the time? What did you use to root it?

the first time I did it, I used Odin from galaxys2root.com. and I install Jedi mind trick.
I think this happened when I try the galaxy s4 weather.apk and the phone got into boot loop and then i tried to recovery to early back up and didn't work so i went back to GalaxyS2root to see how to recovery from a boot loop therefore, I did it and lost every thing I hand in the phone and info will still be there. sometimes it disappear and will pop up and there..

They have numerous root files for different phones. And you did download the files for sgh-t989 and not another s2 right? Did the phone come on after you used odin? And which box did you click on in odin? Phone, Boot, PDA, CSC, etc.

Uh.. I think there's a way, but that sounds complicated, and a difficult find for sure. Perhaps just look for a stock 4.0.4 verizon rom + radios + recovery and then relock bootloader via fastboot. Because there is no way you're locking your bootloader without fastboot... so you need to use it anyway, so just use the original method I linked.
Did you check make a nandroid backup?

Could one of you awesome developers out there just make a cwm version of the stock ICS image.. basically a .zip file that overites custom recovery with stock and takes you back to stock.... this would make life so easy!!!! But then you won't be stock... you'll be on a stock ROM but still custom recovery etc.
Just use the method Efrant posted and you'll be 100% stock. Its extremely easy, and you can be sure that nothing will go wrong because you'll be doing it manually yourself. Stop asking people to do things for you and just make it happen.

Wow. Just wow. I was about to post a .zip file for you but with that attitude... never mind.
Also... the stock image I downloaded from Google(imm76k) is a .tgz file... I thought it had to be a .IMG file??? And when I extracted it to desktop it gave me a .tar file... would the .tar file be the one I would use to flash via Odin back to stock??? And why do we not have a stickie to get back to stock, via Odin, via fast boot flash??? Lol. This thread is kinda haywire in my opinion compared to threads for other devices. Hahaha.. still VERY useful though..

I've got a Sprint GS2 E4GT flashed to cricket and I change ROMs all the time. The only thing I lose is 3g data, but only when I flash AOSP roms, and that's easily fixed with a CWM flashable zip (link below) that I flash after ROM and gapps. And mms can be an issue, but if you do a little homework here, it can get fixed. Mod on!

I'm still trying to figure out how to get Cricket MMS working on ICS TW-based ROMs. I've tried numerous fixes, and either it doesn't work, or it works and incoming SMS messages stop coming through. Never really found a true fix for this.... any ideas would be much appreciated!
The only way I can get both working is on AOSP ICS or JB ROMs. I'm not bagging on AOSP (love and appreciate the work these devs put out), but I'm kind of a closet TW fan, too.

The only way I've found to get MMS working is by CricketMMS.apk
Install like a normal APK, then when you want to get MMS open the new program called "Cricket MMS" with a black messaging icon, and download the MMS as normal.
Just what I was looking for. I also had my S2 flashed to cricket....now I want to Root and install the CelstialBody rom. The first time I tried to Root it I got the yellow triangle and had to pay again to get it reflashed. Don't want that again so can anyone help me get some advice/info on a safe way to Root and install this rom....Please. Many thanks in advance. Used to have the cricket mercury....rooted and a nice rom but dropped it and broke.
You do realize the yellow triangle means nothing right? Thats just "voiding" your warranty. It will tip off your carrier that you have had custom firmware on the phone. It doesn't matter because its so easy to reset. Either download triangle away or like me just use a 2$ usb jig. Plug the jig in while phone is off and 5 seconds later no triangle and no binary count.

I had complaints of crackling on one of the earlier builds of SkyNote. It seemed to be related to me disabling certain system sounds and haptic feedback. When I cleaned flashed the ROM it was fine and the problem only crept up after I changed the sound and haptic feedback settings. I haven't had any problems since and am now on the current SkyNote Air ROM.

I keep getting reports that I sound very muffled..then randomly I sound better..then muffled. I get hung up on constantly
So im looking at the ittyyyy bitttty teeeennyy weeenny microphone hole next to the usb port. Looks a little dusty! Maybe ill take a needle to it.
Anyway has anyone else ever gotten this issue? Did you bring it in to get serviced?
Im trying to avoid bringing it to att since I dont feel like returning to stock and what not.
Regards,
eZ

You still running Agni kernel ??? My speaker was interesting after flashing it.
Just reloaded MeanBean after doing some other testing. I'll miss with it more today if I get a chance.

eZ.... Have u tried a 100% fresh install. That happened to me once or twice on my skyrocket. a full restore back to stock with a full wipe of internal and external sd cards cleared it up for me. Not sure if u tried that yet but if not its worth a crack.

That's what I was afraid of. Restoring firmware resets bootloader also right since I'm on 4.3 BL

Ya know what's crazy, since I got my note I haven't gotten it recognized on my PC for storage lol. Always have to use Air droid to transfer crap
It's recognized in Odin tho so that's all that matters!
