My favorite ROM + setup - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

So I'm running CM7 using Pimp My ROM app mods, crossbreed mod, V6 supercharged 100% and areoevan 0.8cfs kernel smartassV2 1.4/245ghz and UV -100 using Incredicontrol. This has been my setup almost last year and a half. Nothing can compare to CM7 IMO on this phone. I flash all the newest ROMs and the stability and speed of my setup is unmatched. Phone last me from 7am-11pm with 20% remaining. Just wanted to share my setup

There are plenty of cm7 builds for this phone. What did you use? Official? Codemed?

I'm currently using MROM CM7 and loving it. I applied all my tweaks stated in my OP and his ROM has a slight edge over official CM7 and others. If you don't like his theming use UOT Kitchen and build your own

(AOSP) kernel question

I want to use the "Deck ROM 1.2", and I need to know what's a good kernel to use with the Rom please. TIA.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
i have been using deck's since way back when 1.0 was released. the cm kernel it comes with is perfectly fine for most things, and i personally like to stick with it because its easier to modify CPU settings, but if you don't wabt to muck around with that i'd recommend tiamat, either 3.3.7 or 3.3.8 - hope that helos.

I recommend the Tiamat kernel.

I remember it being gingerbread AOSP, so i would recommend tiamat 3.3.7, 4.1.0 or mason G series kernels.

TechNiqCality has run well for me after an initial try with Infamous. I find TechNiqCality to run better for my tastes. Less bloatware and I prefer the cosmetics better. Though I'm still running 1.2 until some issues get resolved with the newer releases.

CM9 stable is a excellent rom with the Darkside venom 6 kernel. Never had overheating issues. Very reliable rom imo
 cheers

I believe some have reported success using ca1ne's Underworld Sense Kernel v0.8 on Mikg's.
Hmmmmm alright, thank you :]

If you encounter lag at times while using the Underworld kernel, then consider using the Classic kernel instead.:good:
I flashed the Chop Suey 9.2.7 kernel (so I could use HDMI out) and that worked pretty well for me. I also was able to improve the battery life on my EVO 4G with an app called Screen Filter. You can set it so that the backlight on your softkeys is turned off.

I've been using netarchy-toastmod Stable: 4.3.1 Beta on MikG froyo for a year now and it runs like melted butter mate and battery life is brilliant.

I had the best battery life with stock. Gonna give this xquizit rom a try. Hear it's pretty good. I have 3 batteries total so I don't even know why I am still concerned with battery life.

This is also considered by many to be the smoothest build. All lag has been eliminated, and many who use it see little reason to upgrade to Jelly Bean in the foreseeable future.
