The OP says he has ported this ROM from the LG Optimus 4X HD
and that his English is poor, so poor that he used Google Translate (or similar) to translate his post into English.

An op is essential imho. I wudnt flash this cause its somewhat crap, but cause i just dont know whats not workung if special gapps are used or how up to date it is. Which source was used and who has to be credited in op etc....no info just a link. Thats VERY SAD! The LGOG desperately need more devs!
Please op find someone with english skills and pimp up the op to attract more people.
Another question: is it possible to use the lg widgets? Is it possible to port them somehow to aosp/other launchers?

We don't need more devs,we need more users.you can have all the devs on the world, but without the feedback from the community,it's useless.at least here on E975 section,i don't think we are more than 50 users.look around and see who is posting, asking etc.50 is a generous number.damn lg for making so many incompatible version to eachother.this way they keep the community fragmented.

Yes it's true, but as stated above the OP's need more information and eye candy stuff (like screenshots).
In others sections we've the Developers/Modder's that don't speak English and they ask someone else to create the xda threads. I believe that ltelg could do the same.

You seem a tad bit upset.
Of course.wtf?you are asking questions from the freaking user manual?????can't you read few pages?you know,a smartphone is not making you smarter,on the contrary,it requires some amount of brain to use it.the more complicated the device is,the more brain you need to handle it.question for you,why did you bought this device???

If he is from Oklahoma i guess he doesn't have a E975 but a E970 or ls970 which in both case mean he can't have FM radio.
good point, but still,he could've read that in the user manual.you'd think they would've wrote that on the manual, right?

try searching in the menu, it's named FM Radio. but if you can't find it there for some reason, and you are certai that your phone really has FM radio capability, try looking for the app Spirit FM in the Play Store.

Sorry, i looked it up. Dont have to be an assh0le about it though. Its kinda hard to find the Sprint Section
Click on my signature and see question 1. Also, look up on this thread,it's a damn sticky there saying THIS IS NOT AT&T/SPRINT. What else should we do? Not mention a simple google search : sprint optimus g xda will give you the direct link to the forum.
Yeah, the SEEM to be similar, but the differenceis always in DETAILS,like the modem, storage. No one said you can't flash, but don't complain after you screwed up. If you don't know.me,please stop comment. I'm sick and tired to repeat over and over the same things to lazy people who can't read a few lines before asking stupid things. Another hint,i didn't made that freaking big red signature for me. I made it especially for this type of users. I thought you would be smart enough to click it.but i guess i was dead wrong.

[Request] Source code for knock on/off

Hi,
Does anyone have the source code or kernel module for knock on/off feature from G2?
I am looking to build the module from scratch for E975 KK Kernel or if the module has already been extracted then re-build it on E975 kernel.
I am not interested in using the exposed framework modules touch2wake or anything of that sort.
Thanks,
Well it's available in a lot of Git repos. Look in lge touch core. And the defconfig

Not quite.
1- geeb defconfig.
https://github.com/mathsz/kernel_msm/blob/matr1xuntouched/arch/arm/configs/geeb_defconfig
2- lge_touch_core.c
https://github.com/mathsz/kernel_msm/blob/matr1xuntouched/drivers/input/touchscreen/lge_touch_core.c
3- sweep2wake code
https://github.com/mathsz/kernel_msm/blob/matr1xuntouched/drivers/input/touchscreen/sweep2wake.c
I'm not compiling anything for a very long while. I've spent too much life-time on android as of now. Good time spent, good stuff learned, not doing it again. Besides, I don't have the OG anymore.
Check out xboxfanj for help on this forum. He may point you to the optimus G group, lots of help in there.
Have fun!

Thanks a lot again.
Just one last query - Do you think I can compile these as modules for other non-lg device (just to test, i don't want to break my phone straightaway) and install them to enable the knock on/off feature, or are these hardware dependent modules?

well.
since it's lg g2 code ported to OG, my guess is you can. If the sensor are the same or respond the same way. Nothing like trying.
Worst case scenario is : you'll just have to reflash everything.
EDIT :
seems it's already been ported.
