This is to fix Mms message on metropcs flashed sprint galaxy s iii your phone most already be flashed to metropcs with working internet Flash the zip in recovery and reboot, mms messages should work from first boot. This will last thru a factory reset.
Edit: I was ask to add some detsils as to wat the zips doing and wat I do. I edit the mms-config.xml in the stock Mms.apk/SecMms.apk to settings from verizon which work for metropcs, I also use an apns-conf.xml that I edited for metropcs. the zip will mount data and mount system, it will delete Mms.apk/SecMms.apk and Mms.odex/SecMms.odex, it will delete dalvik-cache for Mms.apk/SecMms.apk, it will delete the telephony.db file in /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/ which countains apns. it will replace Mms.apk/SecMms.apk with the one I edited for metropcs it also replaces the apns-conf.xml in /system/etc/ which countains the default apns for the one I edited for metropcs (on first boot the phone will create a new telephony.db with the default apns countained in this apns-conf.xml, that is why this fix lasts thru a datawipe/factory reset). The zip will also delete devicemanager.apk/sprintdevicemanager.apk/sprintdm.apk to remove the activation prompt every boot. For more details take a look at the updater-script.
I am not responseable for anything that happens
Update: now works with wifi connect (or should can someone pls test)

Your L720 works flawless.

I try using bloody's verizon touchwiz 4.1.2 mms fix but it didn't work for me. It give me a force close error. I try using the your sprint mms fix on a verizon GS3 but that didn't work too.

Just mobile Odin the el26cwm kernal and reflash the whole rom

To get to ##data## u need to flash a tw rom. Otherwise try go sms for mms
Reflashing the rom won't fix your problem. You need to edit the apns-conf.xml to the correct apn settings, you might have to edit the build.prop too. A data wipe will be necessary also. I can look into and create a flashable zip later tonight.

I had the same problem and this is exactly what I did I just got go sms its much better than the stock messenger anyway and sends mms through wifi. Plus it has millions of themes.
Try flashing this file and let me know if it works:
http://www.mediafire.com/?3r4se2rlph3k1qk
For now you will have to use odin/mobile odin to flash the clockworkmod direct boot recovery like you are installing CM9, flash your CM9 and gapps like you normally would and before you exit recovery flash this zip too.
Once we have a proper recovery you wont have to do the above steps but for now its the only way. This zip SHOULD work for all future CM9 updates.
Hope it works for you. I would test it but I am on Virgin Mobile, not Boost Mobile.
thank u... and just to be clear... instead of installing el26 to flash cm9 flash this file instead?

No flash it with el26. Follow all the steps to flash CM9 gapps etc, then flash this. This is just an update zip.

I was once rooted and the problem started then. Now im back to stock with the latest OTA update, but "SuperUser" app still shows up on my phone.
I am having an issue where i cannot use copy/paste
no matter which application i am on , as soon as i choose copy the app crash.
sometimes i receive a testservice stopped working.
There is another thread in the ATT S 3 forum but the only response was to flash another rom.
Any ideas on how I can fix this stock?
Thank You

But not with this custom rom.
I have tried to reply to original thread but it tells me I cannot cause im new

I have the NC1 version installed for T999L. I dont know if downgrading bootloader and modem will brick my device...?
Forcing a firmware downgrade from 4.3 will brick. The modems by themselves won't brick, but if on 4.3, only a 4.3 modem will actually work.

i thought it was just part of the update, but noe im having other problems.
the auto correct is replacing my words and not giving me the option to pick what i want.
is there a way to fix this?
i try reflashing the nf1 update.
then i try deleting the samsungime.apk and replacing it with one from the ne6 update
but no go it wont change back.
I just try a theme keyboard.

I'm willing to bet mobile Odin is the culprit behind the keyboard issues. I stopped using MO after I noticed some inconsistencies using it with the sgs3.

As I recall back, I remember identifying a similar issue with the keyboard either on my s3 or s4. I cant exactly remember which phone. As a result of using MO the stock Samsung keyboard along with the tutorial didn't load properly during initial setup. Instead it would just load the stock swype kb. After numerous flashes With MO, and unsuccessfully resolving the issue, I finally decided to use Odin on the PC. Lo n behold, the kb issue was fixed. At that point I stopped using MO because there's no telling what other hidden issue it may be causing.

I don't think mobile Odin is the culprit...I fully updated to NF1 using Odin on my PC, and my long-press and symbols still work, but I have noticed some minor funky things with autocorrect, particularly it no longer capitalizing 'i' as another poster had mentioned...I've never even used or installed Mobile Odin, so wherever the cause lies, it's not there.
