As long as it is based on the Samsung source and not AOSP you should be fine

As posted above next time use search this has been answered already including they "ANY" part

[Q] DARKSIDE (4.0.3) telus base rom or tmo?

I'm currently running the T-Mobile base, but I was wondering which is running the smoothest. The t-mo base seems to be a slight bit laggy. Which do you prefer?

I see what you did there..

Good OC kernel for stock GB rooted with CWM recovery.

I am running stock GB and CWM recovery but am thinking about doing some overclocking without switching ROMs. If anyone has a stable kernel that is reliable let me know. I use same set up on Galaxy tab 10.1 with sock HC & CWM but run pershoots kernel to OC to 1.4ghz. Hoping to find a similar set up for my Galaxy S2 on Sprint.

ok, so it is in the wrong section... but my answer is not in the wrong thread as you stated. The mods will certainly move or delete this thread when they find it. I don't understand why you would hammer me instead of the OP for the mistake. If the thread gets moved (which it most likely will) why should I not answer the question?

Yes, posted a question in wrong section but not exactly the end of the world thank you for anyone who answered and I didn't post on purpose was switching back and forth between dev and q&a so just mistakenly posted to wrong one is all. It will get moved eventually so it's no big deal. Thanks again.

I see a new section for advance developers and have a terrible urge to ask simple questions in that section. How can I effectively resist the urge to upset developers and moderators alike?

Keep questions in 1) Q & A, or 2)Thread for Rom/Kernel for which you have a question on.

I can't see it from my XDA app. Maybe I could from a PC, but I use my laptop less & less the more I find out what this phone is capable of doing.

No because that would be breaking the first and second rule. And tyler durden wont like that

I wish the mobile app would add new sections on its own without having to unsubscribe and subscribe again to see them.

Stock theme on Nexus Evolution?

Hello all, I've posted this on the Nexus Evolution thread, but haven't gotten any response. I am wondering if there is a way to install the stock Android 4.2.1 theme onto the Nexus Evolution Rom. I love the rom, but loathe the theme that it is built upon. Is there any way to do this? I tried flashing to one stock theme that I found, but I think it was from 4.1.2 it bootlooped. ANY help would be awesome.
Also, if this isn't possible, can anybody recommend a theme that is close to stock?
