Dumb question here - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Ive seen where we ported vzw and sprint ota..my question is did att get the ota 4.1.2 and if so wouldnt had been easiier to port that?

no point of porting an ATT rom because they are compatible with our device. just dont flash modems.

I think Samsung released UVLl4 twice. I'm curious about this myself. If you go to the UVLl4 thread in development it kinda looks like that.

Hmmm. glad i read that. on the galaxy s 2 T989 you were able to flash ATT radios/modems for those using it on ATT network. reported better speeds and coverage.

If what you're asking is if you can download the modems from samsung, unfortunately you cant. They have to be pulled after applying the ota.

lol we just got jellybean. 4.1.2 is a minor update anways. Pretty sure we won't be getting it for awhile, and probably just jump straight to 4.2

Yup, rumored a few days ago that Sammy already sent 4.1.2 to Tmobile and other US carriers. Also implied early next year....Jan maybe?

This rom is based off sprint. As long as you do not flash the kernel or the monem you should be ok

Multiwindow almost here....

The Verizon devs have gotten the multi window ported from the note 2 working. The ROM only works for verizon but he said he would release a universal ROM for us to flash soon.

Phone compatibility

Is our phone able to use ROMs from Sprint and T-Mobile? Or is there a chance of bricking If I try s rom from their forums?
