Sorry Samsung Newbie

Is this the area for Samsung Galaxy S2X Telus Mobility cuz thats what I have been told, I have many questions but was only use to the IncS/ICS/4.0.4 and now I'm on 4.0.3 also have not done any rooting on Samsung devices?

Zips or it didn't happen.

It doesn't matter what that article states, sprint has to release it to us and that can take months so ignore what you read online about Samsung this and Samsung that, it's sprints call now.

huh? Are you asking will we be getting an update and if so there are plenty of places to search that answer... start at engadget if you like or just a simple google search. Also there is a thread for Jellybean discussion that you could skim through and where I think your question would be best suited

Yep. Something like that. There will probably be JB Twiz leaks so don't worry. You might have JB Twiz on your phone before you know it .

Yes, but you can always Odin CWM then flash JB superuser( that does exist right? ) or wait till a dev tweaks and deodexes it for us and flash that.

Maybe. You could try to use OTA Rootkeeper to keep root. Root will come out very soon. Android 4.1.2 was just released for the Nexus a couple of days ago. It was rooted around an hour after it was released.

[Q] Need a Flashable Sprint Modem

Just trying to reach out to anyone that may have it. I really need a flashable modem for my LG Optimus G I am trying a few things but not getting any service and was hoping flashing a modem would fix that.

I am using the AT&T method I have yet to use it due to no service but its a nexus and its awesome. Just want service lol

I recently got a T999L for cheap

Its probably coming but who knows when.. In the meantime you can flash the t-999 4.1.2 ROMs if you just can't wait.. In my opinion I don't really like it, I prefer 4.1.1, its faster and more responsive in my experience

You could always flash a 4.2.2 rom. But like he said 4.1.1 is better in performance and battery in my opinion!
