Q:recovery touch not working after ota

hy guys
I was back to stock due to warranty, after that touch screen in recovery not working anymore.
I can't use cwm because of that, but I can use twrp and go through menus with volume buttons, but when try to install rom, touch also doesn't work in aroma.
what is the problem for that
-relocking the bootloader or ota update on next base ?
-or maybe hboot should be same as unlocking the bootloader?
-should I try to unlock bootloader again to get a different unlock-code.bin
can't find answer for that does anyone knows what causes this and how to repair it?

A stock recovery is not touch based ! Only custom recoverys are, at least the latest ones.
What base are you officially on now
Fastboot getvar version-main
That will give the base version number. Unlock the bootloader and flash this recovery and all touch features should be back. Also in aroma

what is the difference in this recovery?
should I unlock bootloader again? because I used old unlock file

Depends on what you want to do ? Are you full stock now.....do you want custom roms ?
This recovery works on the latest official hboots with updated touch drivers. Its a cwm recovery but more advanced.

great, it works. I'm not stock anymore I was relolocked bootloader for waranty, flash stock recovery and flash latest ruu
unlock it again and flash twrp 2.5 latest oficial, and touch didn't worked.
now it works thank you

Wildfire cwm install help

Hello there. after years i recieved a HTC wildfire from a friend. and i thought to root it and install some custom roms.
It is S-off
Hboot version is 1.01.002
and i was able to root it and install superuser.
but the problem is i was not able to install cwm recovery
i tried rom manager method, and also via fastboot usb flash
The install process goes well but i can't enter in to cwm recovery. When i click the recovery option in boot menu it takes me to old recovery screen
Obviously i'm missing something here
Can you guys please help me out??

Hi! What cwm you installed? And from where?

Put that file on your SD Card and the HBOOT should detect it and install it. Tell me if it worked or not.

does the bootloader say revolutionary s-off or just s-off? if just s-off you need to do the bootloader pc49img method

This is the tool i used to gain S-Off (http://revolutionary.io/) Its a further developed version of unrevoked3 for the HTC Wildfire and AlphaRevX for the HTC Desire. This tool should work pretty similiar to unrevoked (but i don't remember very well) so maybe you should have a look in the unrevoked3 thread, which you can find in the Wildfire Development forum at the top of the page.
Also read the revolutionary guide carefully :http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/revolutionary
And dont forget to install htc fastboot drivers!

[Q] Maximus latest version jellybean 21.0.0

Hi all,
I'm currently running maximus 3.1 on my HTC one x, Ive tried to install the latest Jellybean maximus (21.0.0), but it freezes everytime on the second splash screen. Ive waited up to 30 mins but still no go.
Steps I've taken:
run kernel flasher 21.0.0 in fastboot
full wipe, dalvik wipe in recovery
install from sd 21.0.0 rom with full wipe
3 times Ive tried it now and no go, am i doing something wrong?

You can see it if you boot it to bootloader. Boot up the phone with power button + volume down.

Which recovery do you have?? I had Problems with TWRP and PhilzTouchRecovery also.
But with the normal clockworkmod5.8.4.0 it worked.

Need to be 1.3+ or 1.71 Hboot to run 4.2.2, Go back to Stock rom and recoveryand update OTA to the latest Hboot then reroot flash recovery then install Maximus

You have to upgrade the hboot, because with sense 5 roms got bootloop. Need to relock, update hboot, unlock again. Carriers ID, steps.
It's sounds difficult a bit, but it's very simple and fast way with the fastboot commands.

But doesn't seem to want to go into fastboot now or recovery
All i get now is a image of a phone with a red ! above it??

if your phone just unlock bootloader and still s-on you must flashing boot.img too after every installed any new rom..
you can find boot.img from the ROM.zip it self...just extracted the ROM.zip then you can find it there..

I don't know too what exactly the problem is..but just guest...maybe ARHD rom can't support just unlocked bootloader device, maybe must be s-off too..
If you want still try another ROM like stock but ICS version and with just a little tweaked..you can try SVHD ROM too..that most stable and good battery life rom that i've ever try until now..

[Q] HTC One X bootloop

Hello. I own a Htc one x and today i wanted to install a custom rom on my device ,Cyanogenmod 10.2.1. I had my phone rooted for a while and i think i did everything right from unlocking the bootloader to flashing the boot.img through fastboot ,but somehow i still get stuck on the boot animation of cyanogenmod ... Could anyone, please, help me ?

Hboot 1.72.0000 , oh yeah ..i had my deviced s-on but i unlocked it via htc dev ..does that have anything to do with my problem ?...

No that's not it. Hboot is fine. Think it's a wipe problem. What recovery are you using currently ?

latest CWM i could find ,6.0.4.8 ,but not the touch version..

You can use this one for any rom, kitkat and no kitkat roms

Make sure to make a FULL wipe before you install cm rom and gapps.

I think i messed up , i erased absolutely everything on my phone including the OS .. haha ..i'm a bit of a greenhorn with this twrp recovery .. what should i do ..?

Mount the sdcard and wait until it pops up on the pc. Then copy the rom to the sd and start over
