Q About Rom AxisM RLS 19 by Hero - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hi members. This is my first post. I have flashed most of the Roms listed on the Dev section of the Tmo GS3 and never had any issues with flashing. However, when i try flashing this latest release by Hero (axis 19), aroma installer does not get passed 10%, it does not freeze; it just stays there at 10%
I noticed yesterday that after many trials and 10 min waiting it got past the 10% and completed the install process but when i pressed the "next" button on the screen, it got frozen.
Has anyone experience the same issue? I cannot post in the dev section yet. This is why i am posting here. Anyone please help.
Thanks

Did u try and redownload the rom

Yes i downloaded the rom 3 times with different browsers and yet it does not install. Aroma starts normally up to the 10% or hangs at the end when pressing "next"
Very strange as everyone else in the rom section is very happy with the rom.
Very strange as this is only happening with this rom.

Well aroma freezing is a know issue with the aroma. if it does, you can just hold down the power button for 10 seconds and it should reboot back into recovery to try again. Also, some roms (I beleive this does) have device checks built in, it could look like it will stop for quite a while at a certain point while it does its device checks. If you havent already, try again and put the phone down for around 10 minutes and see if it eventually resumes. If neither of those are the case, I would try to restore a backup and reflash recovery, it seems like it may be from an outdated or curropted recovery. You can easily to that through goo.im manager.

Yes you are correct. I tried leaving it alone for 10 minutes and it actually did completed installing the rom but when i touch the next button, it just freezes. I going to reflash the recovery as you stated and then try again.
Thanks.
I keep you posted.
Thanks.

Update. I reflashed the recovery, tried to install the rom and aroma stays at 10% after waiting 15 minutes, still at 10%. So no progress here. See pic.

Finally after many trials and error and downloads and long waiting, aroma completed the installation. I am now enjoying this beast as well.

what does this mean?

can anyone tell me why my htc desire is stuck at this screen when i put in the battery?
-- 1 minute later --
well, i can't post a pic since not allowed to link until after 8 posts
it looks like a boot screen with 3 android dudes on the bottom.
any ideas?
Your stuck at the bootloader. Means that there is no boot.img. You've done something to it. Just flash a rom and it'll be fine. Don't forget to wipe data.
ok, thats positive news so far
the things is, i think its water damage but not much water at all really. just a bit from snowing while skiing.
the power and volume buttons do not seem to respond AND the ohone turns on by itself when i insert the battery.
is it still just a case of 'flash a ROM'? or is there more?
oh, and here is the image..... finally,

You don't have root or a custom recovery, correct? You just want to go back to the stock Froyo?
I think if the power buttons don't work it may be a bit of a problem selecting options in that menu, since the power button works as "select" in that menu.
I think you could boot to recovery using command prompt, but I am not 100% sure about that.
Also, are you rooted? Do you have a custom recovery installed?
What is 'Kali CM7 Apps2SD'? Is that just another name for S2E?

Do you have a note of which rom was installed in your device? Is it carrier locked? Branded?
Select the newest RUU that fits your phone & carrier from http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Bravo/. Extract the ROM, rename to PB99IMG.zip, place in root dir of sd-card and reboot. Should do everything else automatically.
don't really follow the whole ROM question?
my phone has android v2.2, is NOT branded, is NOT locked and NO rooting.
and i should add that i am sweden if that matters.
The file you download from shipped roms is an exe file. When you execute the file it will extract a couple of files to your harddrive. Among those is a file named ROM.zip. That's the one you're looking for.
When I extracted it the file was here C:\Users\*User Name*\AppData\Local\Temp\{722DC7D5-7B69-4EBC-B6FB-B63AE38C01DE}\{50F2F878-636A-496F-A7CB-544C067E0C4B}
The ROM on shipped ROMs are all the standard carriers version that are unmodified.

Yeah but there are different versions of 2.2 depending on carriers etc, thats why I was asking!
I *think* any of the ROMS here with RUU at the beginning & WWE in the filename should work. (I am not 100% sure about this, as I have not had an official rom installed for AGES).
You will then have to follow sonoftobit's instructions I think, don't ask me how to extract the ROM though, as I don't know how to do it!
PS sonoftobit - Ignore this liquidmonkey!
If you go to the CM7 nightly thread and go to the 2nd post, Kali has a script for enabling Apps2SD. That is what I am running, tried to use S2E but it screwed things up royally and I had to restore a Nandroid!
Yeah, I had the same problems with S2E. I'm using DarkTremor App2SD now which has worked flawlessly ever since (both Sense Froyo and CM7). Also there's A2SDGUI for DarkTremor now which makes it even better.

why on earth would you write that?

i have had the phone off for a few more days and then put in the battery and BANG, it started up after a little while.
problem was that my battery only lasted 10 seconds so i was not able to fully test things.
then i put the battery in again and i was back where i started, crappy boot screen.
is there something in the phone that keeps memory of the boot screen and then disapates after a day which would explain why it started today.... or?

[Help!] Think I'm bricked. What can i do?

Ok so i bought the 400k model and then really wanted the international version so bought that too to then sell my 400k.
My 400k was rooted so I wanted to load the new software on using flash tool. So last night for 4 hours I tried and it won't. But my problem now is that I cannot get rid of this screen below. I have tried:
-battery pull - doesn't work and just comes back to screen
-any combination of buttons e.g. long press power button plus volume disc or long press power button only. None of them work.
-Drain the battery completely. Doesn't work back to that screen.
What can i do?

Yeah those are the instructions i followed last night. I must have tried it 20 times! Port was changed and it just hung on 6% for 20 minutes. Then each other time it would sometimes try for a percentage and sometimes not work at all. So then i thought i will just factory reset but now it just won't move from that screen no matter what i do.

I haven't found any posts about this yet, not through T-MOBILE anyways. As you can see, I'm connected through my home wifi but I don't have an option to download anything? I'd rather it not update around 11pm - 4am as I have to be up for work at 5am and my phone is my only alarm. Is it downloading in the background through wifi and then I get the option to install when it's done or what? I've tried updating through LG bridge and there's no updates through that (Lg bridge updated to latest version as well.)
Anyone else getting this?
Just checked, I can confirm it.

And If you change the time manually to "12 am" you won't have to wait until the actual 11-4am time lol

Damn I just checked it for the hell of it and seen the update.....but unfortunately no longer have a PC so I can't go back to stock to take it
it must be 7.0 .....
i will wait for the flashable stock 20a rom or rooted tot files come out
Awesome. Nice surprise. I'm downloading it now!
Yeah the 12am trick worked. Downloading now.
anyone know where the update.zip downloads to? I have TWRP so was hoping to flash in there.

I tried but when it booted to TWRP I couldn't find the .zip. It wasn't in /cache like I was expecting.
I would wait it out a bit, with the anti rollback and unknown root ability it just seems like a leap to unknown ground. They (LG/Tmo) haven't locked it yet but could at any point.
I see it is ready, but can't download

Ah I see. You must change the date on the phone, not the update message.
Has the update improved camera performance at all? Does it snap any faster?
I will wait for root before making the jump. Any news on what(if anything) changed on the g5 specifically? Anything added or improved?
Anyone not seeing the update keep checking for update again and again .. i think it started showing for me after 10 attempts or so, then i toggled auto time off and changed the time to 2355 hrs = 11:55 pm now its downloading .. i did hear about some things breaking like wifi .. Fingers crossed will update soon ...
Update 1 - it was downloaded several times on my phone but after clicking restart and install, it suddenly goes back to showing "Your System is up to date, last checked xy:zv pm
Update 2 Seems you really need the battery to be 100%, leaving the phone plugged in wont help unless battery is 100%, i dont think it is a smart requirement, but it is what it is..the phone is updating now lets see...
Update 3 It has updated, dont see much changes, camera got nothing that i can say is improved, theming is a bit more complete with not of things going dark when you choose dark themes ... notifications still have white background, an eye sore...

I've never raged so much trying a rom, I've used your rom previously but as soon I installed this one it started freezing every couple seconds , play store didn't download anything , everything I download whether It weight 20 mb or 20 kb froze at 80% , I touht It was because I flashed xposed
So clean wipe and install the rom again , without xposed and same deal tried wiping Play's store data and download manager but same deal
The freezes persist so I'm back to atom rom
Also soft rebooted twice

"PlayStore" is updating itself first. That's why there is a problem with application loading. But this is temporary. Once he's done, he does not do it anymore.
Perform a clean installation for reboot. I do not have any problems.
There is no problem with "Xposed". I use it all the time.
They have all the "roms". The ram shrinks when used for a long time. So, start over again day after day. For better use.

You do not have any problems. Most probably. If it is "bootloop", flash the "bootloader" file that I gave in the subject with the ODIN.
It is the window that opens to answer the call from the top of the screen without closing the screen.

Massive issues after upgrade S20 to Android 12

Does anybody encounter multiple issues after Android 12 upgrade (SM-G981B)?
The phone is unusable:
- App freezes/crashes
- Reboot loops (fixed by recovery mode + cache clean)
I even got the official popup 'Your phone has serious software issue, please check update' (obviously there is no update, I updated 2 days ago).
All was good with Android 11.
Anyone knows what that could be - and what could be the solution? Feels like alpha-quality firmware. Not sure if I can easily rollback to 11...
I am even getting this, never saw it before:

Your phone auto reboots after like 5 seconds of it starting, right? If so you need to unlock your phone really quick and start an app and wait 10 seconds then it shouldn't reboot anymore

I have G988N CSC KOO (S20 ultra Korea). A11 work perfectly. Some people got face that problem too
My cure against reboot loops was to get into recovery mode (google how to get into it by pressing VolUp+Power) and then cleaning the cache. Safe enough operation.
The update was available for me yesterday (I just searched for it) here in Latin America. I have used it for few hours without any wipe and everything seems to be ok...
Updated yesterday from Android 11, smooth, no lags. Cleared cache partition before and after update, but just in case - I didn't experience any problems.
Lags, stutter, loss of connection during calls and reboots. Cleared cache, restarted several times. Nothing works. Praying for a fix.
Factory reset.
Here laggy. Refresh of screen is laggy.
Solved: go to sttings, screen, and then select refresh slow, then select refresh fast again.
Although i see refresh fast in stting, in fact the phone is using the slow one. Switching it i have solved.
I do not know how many time this solution will keep my phone without lag.
Edit: when changing the refresh of screen, be sure to APPLY the changes in everey switch.
Re-edit: when connecting the mobile to PC and use DEX, the lag returns again. You have to switch again the speed of refresh manually to return to normal. If DEX not used, refresh of screen keeps high and beauty.
