[Q] htc wildfire A3333 starts freezing all of a sudden. - HTC Wildfire S

Hello guys, I need your urgent help. I've been using my Htc wildfire A3333 for quite some time now without tempering with the rom. I updated the phone three days ago to android 2.2 via the phone updater. Right after that, my phone keeps freezing over and over again. now it has come to point where it will it takes 5 munits load up. please I'm not a computer geek of any kind. I just want my old phone back Android version 2.1. Is there any way I could reverse it back. cos the Touch screen does not even respond. If there is any software that can help me, I will be glad to use. thanks!!! :good:

Also has anyone else had this problem? Did HTC repair it or give a replacement?
Thanks

it is a hardware problem

i think that it is the cpu there is getting to hot therefore the reboot whit 5 to 7 vibrate
if the phone get totaly cold it can an will start up again
then htc can see if it has bien rooted
u can only removed the rooted if u load a officale htc RUU firmware
Thanks for the response I appreciate it.
I tried the freezer trick, though it didnt work. Theres no way for me to load any RUU on to it, hopefully HTC will not be able to power it on.
Its getting picked up tomorrow anyhow, hopefully they will just replace the phone.

[Q] HTC Desire HD Screen Freezing issue.

Hello. i was wondering if anyone with a HTC DHD with 2.3.5 has ever had a problem with their phone screen freezing and not unfreezing. it happens sometimes when i try to unlock my screen, then it freezes, turns off and then the phone is in standby but i am unable to even turn on the screen. i have to remove the battery and turn the phone back on. then it does the same thing within the next half hour. can anyone tell me a fix. or if they can send me a link to root my phone and fix the problem while on a mac?
Uhmmmm.... warranty?

Is HTC warranty affected by installing ROMs, CWM etc?

I installed Tigger's excellent WildChild ROM a couple of weeks ago using CWM. My phone is S-ON, so I unlocked the bootloader by downloading the file from HTC's site.
Now with typical timing my phone appears to have developed an unrelated problem with the touchscreen - after a short while of use, it starts glitching up and the touchscreen goes all screwy, acting as if I'm pressing in places I'm not pressing and stuff like that. I can unglitch it by pressing the power button off then on again, but it's really annoying and makes the phone nearly unusable.
So I'm thinking I'll need to return the phone to HTC - will my warranty be affected because I've unlocked the bootloader? Can I remove stuff like CWM and the modded ROM so when (if) I return it, they won't say I've invalidated the warranty?
Thanks a lot for any help.
No....they already know that you unlocked the bootloader since you did it via HTCdev.....
And PLEASE!!!! THERE IS A Q AND A SECTION HERE!! POST QUESTIONS THERE

Thanks for the suggestion, I actually use several different chargers anyway and it doesn't seem to affect it. I've reset the phone to factory setting and cleared the Dalvic cache several times. Unfortunately problem still exists.
If you've ever tried to use your phone in the rain, the problem is very much like that. I really wish there was a way to fix it, but it looks like I'm going to have to send it back, and hopefully HTC won't complain that I've installed modded ROMs etc.
When I have had that issue when I turn of the screen and look at it at an angle there's usually a little non-glossy spot or two that you can slightly feel.cleaning them off usually fixes it .happens a lot after eating greasy foods. May our Mary not help but better then having to replace it

strange but peculiar bluetooth problem...:'(

hello everyone...i have a HTC wildfire s with s-on and running on jelly king v2.0.
just today i turned on the Bluetooth to transfer some files...but it did't turn on...it got stuck at "Bluetooth turning on.." and then the Bluetooth restarted 2-3 times and then permanently got stuck at turning on.
Then i factory resetted my phone and then tied to turn it on...but it didn't ...before getting on the phone kinda restarted from the google boot animation and then this process continued if not uninterrupted by turning off the Bluetooth before the phone gets restarted again....otherwise there is no problem as such....
please i would be really thankful if some can tell me a appropriate cause and/or a solution for this problem! :crying:

Is it just on jelly king or have you tried other roms? I'm not sure but I saw that Bluetooth has some issues in jelly king why don't you try changing to a different rom?

Hmm. I am running Jelly King on my Wildfire S. I don't seem to have this problem. One thing I would suggest is backing up your data with Titanium Backup or something and then reflash Jelly King.
