Is there any way to save my pics to my SD card instead of internal storage on the S3 running CM 10.1. I'm using the stock camera app.
is there no option in the camera settings? i am using tasks aokp. in camera, i long press the screen and get the multiple camera options. i select settings and then see a "storage" option. i set mine to sd card.
as of nightly 0415, the camera for cm10.1 has the ability to save to the SD card. But for some reason the last few nightlies have borked the camera.
I'm using build 0317 and installed the camera from 0415 and it's working fine. except for exposure settings.

Currently i am running CM9 final 8/10 and experiencing a problem deleting photos using the gallery app.
1. Set camera Storage: SD Card.
2. Take picture.
3. Open Gallery, delete picture taken in step 2.
4. Using Solid Explorer (or similar) navigate to /sdcard/DCIM/Camera-- picture taken in step 2 is still there.
In fact, after a reboot the picture will re-appear in Gallery. It seems that Gallery is deleting the photo from the media index, but not the actual photo on the SD Card.
Quick Google search brings up similar issues on other devices but no solution. Can someone confirm this issue, and maybe help resolve?

Am I just missing this, or is there not an option in CM10 to save the photos to External SD?
Does anyone know a way to get this working? I seen there is a modified APK in the S3 forums, but it won't work for our S2. I've tried.
Thanks,
I see that our camera pictures get stored on the internal memory and I also have a external sd card for extra space but when I take pics I have two camera folders in gallery why cant I just use one as default it seems to pick and choose where it wants to save pics on its own. Any help gladly appreciated.

I have my camera set to store photos on the sdcard as well. What I found was that single shots are stored on the sdcard, but burst shots or still shots from video are stored on the camera. Same thing goes for best face, or any of the shots that need processing on the fly will get stored on the camera. I think that they do that by default to accommodate different sdcard speeds and capacity.
Is there anyway to change the defaul save settings on either the stock Camera app or Focal to the Micro SD card? From what I can tell both apps do not have the function to save to mSD, If so, I hope that they can change that seeing as how the S4 only has 9 GB available after flashing Cm10.2. Doubt it'd last long with hour long video recordings at 720p.
Note: I've searched and searched and the majority of questions/answers I've come across do not have any notes regarding the S4.
Keynotes while using Search: CM 10.2 Camera default save location
CM 10.2 Focal Default Save Location
How to change default save location on CM 10.2 Camera
How to change default save location on 4.3 Android Camera
I've seen only maybe 3 or 4 threads on google regarding this and while they raise questions the commentators have only discussed what's great about Focal and not about how to change save locations.
Hi, After installing Lineage 16 the default camera has changed the filepath for saved pictures. On the old build, I had a DCIM folder on my SD card and pictures were saved there. With LOS 16, when I choose to save to "internal", the camera saves the pictures to /internal/DCIM. However, if I choose to save to SD, pictures are saved in /SDcard/Android/data/org.lineageos.snap/files
In Gallery app the pictures saved on the internal storage are shown under the label "camera". The ones saved on SD are labeled "file".
Is there a way to have the pictures saved on /SDcard/DCIM as I used to have before upgrading? Is there a workaround?
I am running LOS 16 on a Samsung S5 KLTE.
Thanks in advance
I also have this issue. any fix?
