So, back in the day when I got a Defy the calendar widget was awesome! It was using Froyo and thought that the widget was common, but it was not.
Now I see it's back from the dead in CM10.1 for P350 and I was wondering if that widget could be ported to GB for it to be used in CM7 or even in Stock Froyo (for the same device).

If I pull HTC People Widget from stock ROM & install on CM7, that widget will working on ADW Launcher or not?

I don't think anybody has ever been able to pull the HTC widgets out, and make them work on non-Sense ROMs. They are too integrated into the Sense framework. Plus, they only work with the HTC launcher, even on Sense ROMs.
Hi guys, I have a mini problem with the phone with What I assume should be am easy fix.
I currently have caulkins 1.5a rom installed with widget locker and launcher pro.
I used to be able to pull down my notification icon from widget locker lock screen, now I can't. I enabled the setting on widget locker but I still can't do it. I used to be able to work caulkins 1.0 rom.
Any ideas ?

Is their a way to make the evos calendar widget full month and put it on an ics rom. Its the best calendar I think.

Not without a lot of porting, since ICS is a completely different rom. Your best bet is to search the Market for a calendar widget. There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of them.
A good replacement is the 4x4 calendar widget in Android Pro Widgets
Since there are too few lockscreen widgets provided for 4.2, let's share what we found !

How about a lock screen widget with the data plan stats on it that would be awesome and also to have just the normal data plan widget for the home screen with all the stats and the limit for the day.
HD Widgets was updated and now can be used for the lockscreen.

Hey gang, After loading different roms I noticed that most of them don't have calendar apps and then I'm forced to install one from the market. I love the GS3 stock calendar app and wish to have this on my rooted GS3. I'm running MIUI rom and I miss the stock GS3 widget. Is there a way to port this as an app so I can use it on any rom?

I know, I was just hoping that somebody can port it. I chose MIUI because just about every rom out there is JB and I love it but I want something different on occasion. thats why I pick MIUI for a break from those JB ui's. I go back to stock once in a while because I miss those sharp looking widgets and smooth looking ui
I'm sure you would feel differently if you tried Business Calendar. It's very good. I like it mainly because of the awesome widget control, which other calendar apps are lacking.
Business calendar can also update to google calendar as well and the new version can be configured to look just like the stock calendar.
