Sprint Galaxy Nexus

I am coming from the Epic 4G Touch device and was just curious if XDA will fuse the Sprint version into this section or give the device it's own section? With them being pretty much the same specs wise I assume Sprint users will join in here.

I got screwed by sprint!! Preordered the sprint galaxy nexus sunday night, I call them today to make sure everything is going to be delivered on time. Sad to say they tell me the galaxy nexus is on back order and probably wont be able to recieve it till late next week!! Told them to cancel my order and Ill go to best buy to reserve mine on sunday. This was confirmed by 4 different people in the tracking orders department of sprint. What a bunch of idiots. Last time I ever pre-order anything from sprints website.

It's not like its there fault. They didn't expect such a large amount of pre-orders. If anything, you should be happy about this. This means more development and attention to the device.

That sucks! I just called to verify and she said it doesn't appear to be ok backorder

I'm coming too I asked a Mod about the same thing with the section so we can all familiar ourselves with each other lol. I'll check and see bc i preoreded day they sent out emails

I'm on my way too, pre-ordered yesterday and got a confirmation call today. I'm hoping we have a chance to have some separation for our catching up. I have a nexus s 4g and it was a bit confusing at first as we came late to the party then too...gonna be good to have the next nexus soon. Go android!

No tracking number and she said it said back order but also said should get ur phone as scheduled tho so idk lol

It might depend on demand in certain areas and warehouse supply. Maybe they are not all coming from one location? And to clarify they called to confirm my address as I changed it in the system recently.

If you pre-ordered you will get yours. They were keeping a count and once they ran out they stopped taking pre-orders. As far as I know they didn't start taking pre-orders til Monday morning. Tracking numbers aren't sent out til the 19th and the pre-order clearly stated this. No reason to call up sprint. The only people who may need to be worried are those who ordered late, I ordered as soon as it was up.

Although I did put in my order the 16th it wasn't processed until the 18th. I will look into how to do the dump, but I assume I need to be rooted.

You gotta do a speedtest when you get it too, I'm anxious to see if their lte is good around here I've seen videos of it hitting 49mbps in oklahoma. I may switch from tmobile if thats the case

T-Mobile Is playing games with me

Okay So I went in on the 22nd to see if I could get my hands on a Galaxy S3 since I heard the 21st was the release date and they told me, "Only two stores in the city (Houston Texas) got it and the rest of the stores wnt get them untill the 27th" So I was like cool, understandable... Then I asked if there was a waiting list, or if i could put half down... and she said "No its a first come first serve basis its not like the iphone or anything just come early you'll be able to get one" So i call that store again today and they tell me that there IS a waiting list and there are 15 people now ahead of me... (The b*tch will hear it from me later this evening) and they get the phones in shipments of about 10. And now as Im calling around my city NO ONE has the WHITE variant... they said they havent even seen it... I called like 20 different stores and 3 have said they had the white one and the rest of them havent even received it... some said the white one wont come for another 3 weeks WTF is going on!??! IDK what to do.. can somebody in Houston give me suggestions on getting a white galaxy s3 in a timely manner.. ive put my name on several lists around the city already and im just finding out some of the lists only have the blue... what do I do?!?! and what were the two stores that had them? PLEASE HELP!!!

What do you do? You wait until someone has the white version. No one here can really do anything for you.

You will get your device. Clearly there is more demand than supply. I would order online and wait your turn. The only other option would be to try Costco or Walmart.

Yeah dude order online, its a lot easier. I ordered Thursday at launch and got it this past Tuesday via UPS ground. No worth all the hassle driving around and looking for one IMO

No I dont have it, you misread the story. I was wondering if one of my friends at XDA, who happens to reside in Houston, knows a hotspot that May carry a Ton of them... Where Online do I order it? The T-Mobile Store? They are ALL out of stock.. I may Resort to camping out at the Galleria. lol That would suck... I just want a white one iim frustrated because nobody has given me constant information. the sales reps are poorly informed and it varies from store to store.. some store only got two while other stores got 10 smh!

youre right... I was looking at the 32 GB Version But I found a couple of stores that said they will get it tomorrow First Come first serve so I will try my luck but if all else fails im ordering...

I went through the same thing as you only I didn't have a woman panic like you. I just called T-Mobile and ordered it over the. I got the 32GB in white. I received it 3 4 days later. In my case though, I had to do it over the phone because I wanted the 32GB on an installment plan, which the website was not being very kind to me. And in my area, every store tells me they will never have the 32GB in store, they tell that's on online thing only. LOL? Most in store reps have no clue what they are talking about. One time one told me the one s was running "the android iOS system" lol. And I had them repeat and they did 3 times. Of course it was a woman.

32gb versions only available online and through tele-sales is true. As of now there are no plans to have those in T-mobile retail stores.

Best Buy not authorized to sell Sunday?!

Just stopped in to my local BBM store and talked to the manager of the location and I was told he was blocked by the system trying to sell one yesterday. System has them blocked until tomorrow. Anyone else having issues?

All of the local bestbuy stores to me have useless (or carefully uninformative) employees. One store told me it wouldn't be in until black friday, another said to check back monday because that's when the trucks come with new stock.
I would buy from AT&T, but the black tie plan is worth it's weight in myrrh. I'll wait until I can be insured with no deductible.

.^^^^I agree i had a chance to buy one at att store but helf back vecause i didn't want to pay $10 a month on top of $200 deductible. Where BB is $170 one time and no deductible.

Outright geek squad can be returned at a pro-rated cost so it's really not beneficial to pay monthly if you think about it like that. Right now I'm waiting for them to say my Note 1 is not reparable so that they "junkout" my Note 1 so that I can get my Note 2 at no cost (actually ending up with $100+ in store credit)
Oh and it's not Best Buy that is holding onto the launch til Sunday. We have a hard street date of 11/9 for the ATT Note2 it's just that a bunch of stores did not get them in yet.

This reminds me of the SGS3 release when people did not get their phones for a week past the release date and some 2 weeks.

Same story here in St.Louis...was there and the AT&T Friday morning when they opened at 9am...now the AT&T store has one reserved for me at 11 am Sunday morning when they can sell them...They hadn't even put one out at the AT&T store yet till I asked to see one..BB didn't have any out or in the back...nor any cases for them either..Both places had them inbound along with the new LG one coming out..
Can hardly wait till I have mine home...I've been using a I-phone 4s for the last 3 months (very long story )...and been playing with my Captivate for the last week loading different JB roms...missing the hell out of it when the good wife gave me her upgrade and I jumped at the chance..She was holding out for a new 5...but seeing them she decided she liked her Cappy the way I had it fixed up and can wait till my upgrade hits next August She likes JB

Another kid before Christmas here. I went through the warranty dept. My upgrade is May. I got several doa refurb GS II's, so they gave me a One X refurb. I was just going to let that hold me over until the GS IV when I qualify. But its got stuck pixels, the refurb I got to replace it was scratched and on the unrootable update, so I sent it back. Now that the update was rooted I was going to get another. I asked if I could somehow get a new one instead of another refurb. They said sure ... For $99 with early upgrade. Instead I asked for a Note II, on Monday. They said I would have to wait until yesterday, they couldn't pre-order an early upgrade. So I called really early Friday morning so I could get it overnighted and play with it over the weekend. Turns out I got standard shipping instead. So I may have to take Wednesday off work, or a half day.
It all worked out though, I called back to see if Wednesday was really when its expected, and asked again about the $199 price match. I got a $128 credit, so I faired pretty well. But, I may overload the UPS mobile site with all my refreshes until Wednesday.

The store had them, but couldn't sell them. A friend (Best Buy employee) has told me he couldn't get one for Sprint yet either until Monday, even though it's been out they can't sell it for whatever reason.

Still none in the DFW area.

The Sprint Note 2 had a street Date of today at Best Buy. The Att could've been sold on Friday, problem is most stores didn't get any Friday.

I picked one up (white) at the AT&T store in Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY. They had two when I walked in and before I left I overheard
another customer asking for it.

Yeah, a few AT&Ts had it in my area but I want to get it from Best Buy. Silver Rewards gives me 60 days to return with no restocking unlike AT&Ts 14 days and a restocking fee.

It is now showing up as available at all stores in my area for pickup (Buffalo, NY). It looks like att had the weekend head start. I will be going to pick up my preorder as soon as they open today.

i ordered my Note 2 from AT&T on Monday (straight off their website) and apparently it's on backorder.
anyone here have any experience with their shipping system? this is my first time ordering a phone off their website, and definitely my first time on backorder with them. was curious how long i should expect to wait before seeing my phone.

I ordered mine from a Premier phone rep. She said it was back ordered, but it shipped the next day.

i ordered it online because none of the stores in my area had it in stock on monday (closest one that had it in stock was 80 miles away). i called around and asked. guess i'll just have to wait and see how long it takes.
i was checking for the white version, btw. i'm kind of deadset on it, just prefer the way it looks by far over the grey.

I ordered on Saturday the 24th and was told it was in stock, then I called yesterday and they told me it was on back order, I got so mad at them for telling me one thing, and it was not true. Just an FYI the online matched the in store price for me. On black Friday my local att store was having buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for 300 get the note #2 for 50.00 or a SG3 for free. I took the SG3 and sold it, and called the online division and asked if they would use my upgrade and sell me the note 2 for 50.00 and after getting the ok from his boss I am getting the Note 2 for 50. Can't wait to get it hope it is not on back order to long
Just got an email tonight at 7:25 pm Eastern Item has Shipped and mine is White as well so hang in there its on the way

I've been checking my local stores 2 or 3 times a week since launch, but haven't managed to get one yet. I did find one in stock last week, but when I got to the store, the line was out the door and I didn't feel like waiting.
At this rate, it sounds like I might as well just wait for the Note 3.

I noticed when i got mine a couple weeks ago they were sold out online, and it showed most stores around here as out or limited quantity, at least with the white one, only one store around here actually said "in stock" and thats where I got it.

Keep calling! That is what I did and with a few clicks on my last call (could have been coincidence but. ...) the Rep said "okay refresh your Page" and then it said something like fulfilling or something along those lines, and I got it like the next day!

well, after my third phone call to AT&T about this i was informed that the phone is NOT on backorder, the fulfillment center has my order in their system and is still processing it.
there is nothing they can do to expedite the process, they said check again on Monday and if it hasn't shipped by then call customer service yet another time.
how hard is it to package a phone and ship it off, seriously?

Walmart Wireless.com Order
I purchased my SN2 from Walmart wireless.com today for $299.99 with a $100 e-gift card and no tax. My shipping status shows awaiting inventory and before I ordered it there was a message saying it could take up to two weeks. I guess I will just wait and see what happens. From my research all of the other retailers in the area have the phone in stock or just got it in stock expect for Walmart. I am sure this is due to the $100 gift card. Anyone else order from Walmart wireless.com?

Order mine last night from at&t it was pick up this morning by carrier and I will have it Tuesday. P.s. everybody that puts at&t down I'm 9 months away from a upgrade and they allowed my to purchase it for $299 with free shipping.:good:

Possible that some stores will have the Note 4 instock tomorrow!

So I was in AT&T today getting ready to pre-order and setup my new contract when the sales associate told me they were getting the Note 4 in stock tomorrow. SO I hesitated and said should I just setup my new account tomorrow instead and he replied yes and set me up an appointment for when I get off work. Well paranoid me I am worried they will sell out before I get off work tomorrow so I called and talked to the manager, now she is saying she is pretty sure they are gonna get it tomorrow but told me it is not guaranteed but that if I call in the morning they will put one aside for me if they do arrive.
Has anyone been to an AT&T store lately and told this?

Called 4 stores around me. 2 told me the 17th, one told me the 14th, the 4th one told me they would start receiving stock between tomorrow and the 17th and could sell them as they received them.

AT&T reps who work in stores don't know MODERATOR EDIT. What's funny is that they think they do.

AT&T online says it will ship by the 14th. The reps are not allowed to hold any phones for customers so don't believe that BS haha.

Well that I know but I spoke with the manager of the store and she said technically she can't but she would since the guy jerked me around. Oh well, we will find out tomorrow
Update 1: Just woke up and getting ready for work, will call AT&T an hour after they open to see if they came in and to see if the manager will hold her word.

When I went and pre ordered it on monday, the ATT in Etown Ky said they will have them today. I went ahead and had the pre order shipped to my house though. I dont want them trying to sell my preorder just because I was at work.

Although we should never trust what an AT&T rep says, from my past experience the stores do get the phones earlier than when pre-orders ship, but they do not put them out for sale until after pre-orders have already shipped. Makes since because why would they sell to a walk-in before those that have pre-ordered.....if they did this than where would the loyalty be!? Yeah I know, AT&T has no loyalty.

Both lstores I went to in nyc said 15th

Not that I want this to happen, but I was a pre-order for the FitBit Flex. That launch was a nightmare!! Pre-order started literally months ahead of release. (4, if I remember right) Then, Best Buy started selling them 4 days before the actual launch, so all the pre-orders got screwed.

Sorry for the late update but surprise surprise, no Note 4 delivery... Oh well I was at least able to get my pre-order in so now it's back to the good old refresh the email like no tomorrow and pray for early shipments

Well the reps I talked to are nice and Ive dealt with them before when the S4 was about to be released. I was just bummed at how even the store manager told me it was coming, then I come in the next day saying I was told this to be questioned on who told me it and why.. Either way my pre-order is in and I'm hoping it ships early like my Galaxy S4 did.

TMobile devices are shipping now.
After checking my tracking number It shipped from KY which is where TMobile warehouse resides I guess and my phone is showing in the Nashville UPS hub since im located here in Nashville TN.
It has a delivery date of this Monday by 4PM.
That goes for allot of people who preorderd on TMobile. Getting devices way ahead of the 17th!.

Still no change on my pre-order status for the phone, but interesting enough on friday my sim-card they include in the pre-order changed from "preparing to ship" to "processing". Hoping for a speedy shipment.

I'm with AT&T and still sitting at preparing to ship between the 14th and 16th but I'm willing to bet this will change come monday. Not expecting much today since it's Sunday. Quite surprised your status changed so late on a Saturday, maybe they will at will at least get the devices to UPS today. They won't move obviously but if they have them then that means first thing Monday morning it's gonna get real :fingers-crossed::victory::fingers-crossed:

My sim also has been changed to processing. But my note order is still sitting at preparing to ship

I wouldn't expect to see anything change unto the early morning Monday hours. It's Sunday, NOTHING moves on Sunday. I mean businesses can drop **** off sometimes but it just sits in a back room waiting for business hours.

Etown has them in stock. Just purchased mine.
