Can your guy inside confirm the lack of headphones in the box?

Also color options? White available?

He doesn't seem to be good at timely answers. My wife heard All stores are only getting 5 each and I asked him if it was true and its been half an hour ago and still no answer. I told him I need 2. I'll ask but can't promise timely answers.

I'd like to echo this sentiment. From what I've heard, from people's dealings with AT&T customer representatives, there's a thought that the white version will be available on Friday in stores. I really want the white version... so... can we get a yay or a nay?

replace S3 with SGN and we are brothers!!! my power button also doesnt work on the the 3gs, i really am itching, the only thing i like is that i can get 2 weeks of crap before my glorious screen returns!!!

Please let there be a white one!!

I'm going to bring my box & phone on Fri to see if I can swap for a white one. If they do have it I hope they let me swap. I did pre-order through a CS Rep.

I will be at the store nearest me at 8:30 Friday morning to try and get one. I am *so tired* of getting the runaround by ATT reps. First the inability to preorder online, then the phone rep telling me there's nothing she could do and they had no idea, and to go talk to a store. One store telling me that I could come back in a few days and preorder it from them, then saying a few days later they didn't even have the SKU in the system. *Then* that same store told me I wouldn't have a hard time at all getting one, however, I called back yesterday and they said "We aren't getting very many, you might want to be here early." ARGH. This shouldn't be this frustrating.

Just checked att website says they have them in stock to purchase at my local att store in upper darby, pa!

My local store just call me to let me know they have more than enough in @ the Town Center Jacksonville, Fl. Too bad I got a really good deal via premier support by phone. They were going to give me the phone for 299 with some freebee's but was adding a line and just keeping with no phone/data on it. 9.99 a month...Premier CSR gave it to me same price and did an early upgrade (6 months early!). I'm happy.

Just got one from my local store. Got the last one. They only had 2.

This really sucks. I went to an at&t store and waited until they opened this morning. They had 5 galaxy notes for sale but they would not sell me once because I would not sign a new contract. I tried buying the phone for full price and they told me it could be over a month before they are able to sell the GN2 off contract. I called customer support who actually called the store because they couldn't believe they wouldn't sell it to me. Customer support ended up saying its up to the manager to decide if they have limited stock...blah blah blah.
Terrible customer service from at&t as usual. I don't know what to do about it now because even customer support would not let me order it from them directly on the phone. I have a business account with them so I am waiting to hear back from my company rep but this BS should be allowed to exist. I am literally willing to give them $650 + tax for a phone and they won't take my money. If it wasn't for my grandfathered unlimited data plan than I would think about leaving them. Does anyone have any similar experience or suggestions on how to make this happen for me? I really wanted to get a GN2.

I guess it could be up to the manager but why didnt you plan on hitting a few at&t stores, not just one? I'm sure others wouldnt mind taking your money.

Best Buy not authorized to sell Sunday?!

Just stopped in to my local BBM store and talked to the manager of the location and I was told he was blocked by the system trying to sell one yesterday. System has them blocked until tomorrow. Anyone else having issues?

I was told by a non corporate At&t store that they couldn't sell till Sunday either. Went to the closest corporate store and purchased with ease.

All of the local bestbuy stores to me have useless (or carefully uninformative) employees. One store told me it wouldn't be in until black friday, another said to check back monday because that's when the trucks come with new stock.
I would buy from AT&T, but the black tie plan is worth it's weight in myrrh. I'll wait until I can be insured with no deductible.

.^^^^I agree i had a chance to buy one at att store but helf back vecause i didn't want to pay $10 a month on top of $200 deductible. Where BB is $170 one time and no deductible.

Outright geek squad can be returned at a pro-rated cost so it's really not beneficial to pay monthly if you think about it like that. Right now I'm waiting for them to say my Note 1 is not reparable so that they "junkout" my Note 1 so that I can get my Note 2 at no cost (actually ending up with $100+ in store credit)
Oh and it's not Best Buy that is holding onto the launch til Sunday. We have a hard street date of 11/9 for the ATT Note2 it's just that a bunch of stores did not get them in yet.

This reminds me of the SGS3 release when people did not get their phones for a week past the release date and some 2 weeks.

Same story here in St.Louis...was there and the AT&T Friday morning when they opened at 9am...now the AT&T store has one reserved for me at 11 am Sunday morning when they can sell them...They hadn't even put one out at the AT&T store yet till I asked to see one..BB didn't have any out or in the back...nor any cases for them either..Both places had them inbound along with the new LG one coming out..
Can hardly wait till I have mine home...I've been using a I-phone 4s for the last 3 months (very long story )...and been playing with my Captivate for the last week loading different JB roms...missing the hell out of it when the good wife gave me her upgrade and I jumped at the chance..She was holding out for a new 5...but seeing them she decided she liked her Cappy the way I had it fixed up and can wait till my upgrade hits next August She likes JB

Another kid before Christmas here. I went through the warranty dept. My upgrade is May. I got several doa refurb GS II's, so they gave me a One X refurb. I was just going to let that hold me over until the GS IV when I qualify. But its got stuck pixels, the refurb I got to replace it was scratched and on the unrootable update, so I sent it back. Now that the update was rooted I was going to get another. I asked if I could somehow get a new one instead of another refurb. They said sure ... For $99 with early upgrade. Instead I asked for a Note II, on Monday. They said I would have to wait until yesterday, they couldn't pre-order an early upgrade. So I called really early Friday morning so I could get it overnighted and play with it over the weekend. Turns out I got standard shipping instead. So I may have to take Wednesday off work, or a half day.
It all worked out though, I called back to see if Wednesday was really when its expected, and asked again about the $199 price match. I got a $128 credit, so I faired pretty well. But, I may overload the UPS mobile site with all my refreshes until Wednesday.

The store had them, but couldn't sell them. A friend (Best Buy employee) has told me he couldn't get one for Sprint yet either until Monday, even though it's been out they can't sell it for whatever reason.

Still none in the DFW area.

The Sprint Note 2 had a street Date of today at Best Buy. The Att could've been sold on Friday, problem is most stores didn't get any Friday.

I picked one up (white) at the AT&T store in Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY. They had two when I walked in and before I left I overheard
another customer asking for it.

Yeah, a few AT&Ts had it in my area but I want to get it from Best Buy. Silver Rewards gives me 60 days to return with no restocking unlike AT&Ts 14 days and a restocking fee.

It is now showing up as available at all stores in my area for pickup (Buffalo, NY). It looks like att had the weekend head start. I will be going to pick up my preorder as soon as they open today.

seems like every store here has 20 (im in miami). I kinda regretted preordering

I wish I had pre-ordered, but I didn't think I was going to want it initially until I played with it at a local store. I have called over 30 stores in the NYC area (time to kill today). None of the manhattan stores have any. I have found a few in Brooklyn with white. Not titanium to be found.
I'll either wait till Best Buy has it or I'll wait till the next shipment.

I stopped by a Rogers store in Calgary yesterday and they told me that Rogers has only received 20 for the whole city so far! That is for a city with a population of 1.1M??? Very sad Samsung. You will never beat Apple this way!!

I don't know if this is Samsung's fault completely. It seems like Sprint here in America has them in stock all over the place, but I can't find them at AT&T. Perhaps Rogers and AT&T didn't order enough?

This is likely the case. Samsung hasn't listed any shortages of the note 2 and many Asian carriers got this phone by the droves. Sprint stores have a crap ton around Atlanta GA, but ATT stores have around 20ish (checked 2 stores) so it seems to be carrier orders that were low and not Samsung shipments.
Curiously ATT has had more growth in Online purchases than Sprint, so they may be trying to find a good balance between not over/under ordering at physical stores and relying on online purchases for the bulk of their shipments. I ordered mine from ATT online. Just thinking out loud.

With 6 people in queue in front of me, I asked the girl who checked me in if anyone else was there for the Note 2. She said no and agreed to grab one for me and check me out since I was buying it off contract.
I told her that there was another guy waiting on one (who I had met while wandering the store waiting). Hopefully he got his too!

Nassau New York, none of the AT&T stores have any yet...everyone I called kept telling me to call back in a few hours to see if the they got the shipment in. I got mine at a small non-corporate store on Friday, so if anyone around here is looking check out those little guys.

My salesman checked all of the St.Louis stores including Fenton since it's only a couple miles from Sunset Hills...they were out too...Have to wait and see if they are coming in on the truck today..My salesman will hold 1 for me along with what ever cases they have if they come in too..:fingers-crossed:

At&t in Secaucus Nj had both colors today. I'm in the best buy in woodbridge now waiting to trade in my old note for the note 2 here. Its the only one in the area that has titanium in stock today. Many stores are expecting shipment today or tomorrow though.

What about cases? They basically had only the flip cover last week.

Cleveland AT&T store had a bunch of them - I got the first one, straight out of the shipping box. I was the only one getting one that morning. It's strange how good AT&T is around here in terms of speed and everything, given what a medium market we are - must be the holdover corporate presence they've had here for years.

The corporate store on Lindbergh in Crestwood...and they still didn't have any today as well...no shipment scheduled for today
They have checked the other stores stock via computer for me...and this is getting a little frustrating. How can you have a launch without enough stock to sell to the customers..I know I'll wind up getting one sooner or later...and as my good wife always tells me..." everything for a reason " but damn....this really aggravates me

Here in Portland, it is still coming to "select" corporate stores on the 8th. I just called and the guy said they have a bunch sitting in the store, waiting. Both colors. 16GB of course. The dummies have been there since last Wed.

Here in Central FL the store I went into said it will be here on the 8th, and so my name is on the list....luck of the draw? Try finding a corporate store if your going local, they should get it sooner.

Like others have said if you want it sooner, order it online. I ordered mine a couple days ago and it's scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday. I live in a small town in CT so we clearly aren't priority on a device that is in such high demand. :silly:

Ordered 2 SGS4's, White Frost, from Tmo by phone Fri AM, took the 2yr installment plan. They didn't send the EIP document until this morning after I called. Original est. delivery was May 14, standard shipping...
Message from Tmo about an hour ago said my phones are on backorder, with no estimate on when they will be available.... *sigh*

When I ordered mine over the phone I was debating on waiting for an in store buy because I was told that the phones would be coming in to all T-mobile stores on May 8th and that all third party retail stores (walmart, bestbuy, etc) would receive them on May 15th. By "select" stores it supposedly means the T-mobile stores first. Now whether that holds true remains to be seen as the phone reps could easily be mistaken, but this rep seemed very assure of himself. I decided to buy over the phone anyway, should be getting in a day or two. I hope you all can get them this week

I *almost* did the online thing yesterday, but I've decided to wait til they get them in stock and demo models are available. I want to play with it a bit. I like the S3 because of the shutter-speed, so all this talk of slow shutter for the S4 makes me ponder whether I should wait til the S5 comes (next year, most likely).

Here's the thing with that. The best place to order is online, but you really have to be quick. It was on stock all of last week, and some people, including me, got it last week. It is now showing out of stock again (black and white), so you can't order online and definitely not over the phone. Those guys will tell you the same thing, won't be out until the 8th/15th/17th/etc.
For a brief moment yesterday, the black was showing as in stock so I went ahead and placed another order for the Black Mist. It was shipped last night and will arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they are not all out of stock. You have to order Overnight Shipping when you order and you are nearly guaranteed to get it the next day, despite whatever the system says your estimate delivery date is.

Possible that some stores will have the Note 4 instock tomorrow!

So I was in AT&T today getting ready to pre-order and setup my new contract when the sales associate told me they were getting the Note 4 in stock tomorrow. SO I hesitated and said should I just setup my new account tomorrow instead and he replied yes and set me up an appointment for when I get off work. Well paranoid me I am worried they will sell out before I get off work tomorrow so I called and talked to the manager, now she is saying she is pretty sure they are gonna get it tomorrow but told me it is not guaranteed but that if I call in the morning they will put one aside for me if they do arrive.
Has anyone been to an AT&T store lately and told this?

Called 4 stores around me. 2 told me the 17th, one told me the 14th, the 4th one told me they would start receiving stock between tomorrow and the 17th and could sell them as they received them.

AT&T reps who work in stores don't know MODERATOR EDIT. What's funny is that they think they do.

AT&T online says it will ship by the 14th. The reps are not allowed to hold any phones for customers so don't believe that BS haha.

Well that I know but I spoke with the manager of the store and she said technically she can't but she would since the guy jerked me around. Oh well, we will find out tomorrow
Update 1: Just woke up and getting ready for work, will call AT&T an hour after they open to see if they came in and to see if the manager will hold her word.

When I went and pre ordered it on monday, the ATT in Etown Ky said they will have them today. I went ahead and had the pre order shipped to my house though. I dont want them trying to sell my preorder just because I was at work.

Although we should never trust what an AT&T rep says, from my past experience the stores do get the phones earlier than when pre-orders ship, but they do not put them out for sale until after pre-orders have already shipped. Makes since because why would they sell to a walk-in before those that have pre-ordered.....if they did this than where would the loyalty be!? Yeah I know, AT&T has no loyalty.

Not that I want this to happen, but I was a pre-order for the FitBit Flex. That launch was a nightmare!! Pre-order started literally months ahead of release. (4, if I remember right) Then, Best Buy started selling them 4 days before the actual launch, so all the pre-orders got screwed.

Sorry for the late update but surprise surprise, no Note 4 delivery... Oh well I was at least able to get my pre-order in so now it's back to the good old refresh the email like no tomorrow and pray for early shipments

Well the reps I talked to are nice and Ive dealt with them before when the S4 was about to be released. I was just bummed at how even the store manager told me it was coming, then I come in the next day saying I was told this to be questioned on who told me it and why.. Either way my pre-order is in and I'm hoping it ships early like my Galaxy S4 did.

TMobile devices are shipping now.
After checking my tracking number It shipped from KY which is where TMobile warehouse resides I guess and my phone is showing in the Nashville UPS hub since im located here in Nashville TN.
It has a delivery date of this Monday by 4PM.
That goes for allot of people who preorderd on TMobile. Getting devices way ahead of the 17th!.

Still no change on my pre-order status for the phone, but interesting enough on friday my sim-card they include in the pre-order changed from "preparing to ship" to "processing". Hoping for a speedy shipment.

I'm with AT&T and still sitting at preparing to ship between the 14th and 16th but I'm willing to bet this will change come monday. Not expecting much today since it's Sunday. Quite surprised your status changed so late on a Saturday, maybe they will at will at least get the devices to UPS today. They won't move obviously but if they have them then that means first thing Monday morning it's gonna get real :fingers-crossed::victory::fingers-crossed:

My sim also has been changed to processing. But my note order is still sitting at preparing to ship

I wouldn't expect to see anything change unto the early morning Monday hours. It's Sunday, NOTHING moves on Sunday. I mean businesses can drop **** off sometimes but it just sits in a back room waiting for business hours.
