My first theme(with transparent notification area)

Hey guys this is my first theme I wanna share with you all.
Please have a look and tell me if you like it. Will try to make it better and better.

Instructions:
1. The transparent status bar
Can't be obtained on a odexed systemui.apk so I took a deodexed apk and then nodded it.So if you are on a odexed ROM then you'll have to first delete the systemui.odex file using root browser then flash the uot package.
2. To apply the dock and the icons you can use Launcher pro(tested) or ADW.
3. For the lock screen you can download the apk and place it in system/app and set the permissions to rw- r-- r-- . Please note this apk will run only on ODEXED ROM . This apk is not DEODEXED. (Because I couldn't get a DEODEXED htclockscreen.apk)

Looks awesome. Ill dl it see if it works cause themes don't seem to work for my phone too often. I like the way the bar at the bottom looks.

Well I can tell you it works with stock ROM or many of its derivatives.
Please see if you only want the dock just follow the step 2
And if you want it with the themed lockscreen then try step3 but for 3 you would require odexed rom.

How many MB internal memory left after fresh install?
If around 60mb- de odex
Above 100- odex

Some thing around 60 aft tat I hav moved the dalvik cache to SD-Ext now 125 internal memory I got so its deodex izit ??

Hey Honda just checked , am not having any problems with the apps drawer neither in rosie nor in launcher pro.
Edit: Found a problem in notification area the notification text is black . Tried to edit in uot but didn't work. Will ask someone for help about which CMO is to be editted.

Dude just check your rom zip file open system/ app than if you find .odex with all apps than you have odex one...

[ROM]XPeria Boss, a Arc Clone(STOPPED)

heey everyone,
I have maked this rom for xperia lovers!
what's in this rom?
- Official Xperia launcher
- Sony ericsson bootanimation Looks cool
- Xperia theme (choose the theme Xperia Arc in themechooser than reboot your phone en the theme will apply!)
- battery statusbalk widet!
- lockscreen thanks to SpaceCaker (for the lockscreen go to settings-->cyanogogenmod-->lockscreen-->style options choose lockscreen style en then choose SlidingTab
- added some xperia widgets
- based on CM 7.2 Thanks to tioammar

Install it :
Download the rom and place in sdcard
Go in cwm5 recovery
Make wipe data
Install the rom
Reboot and set the theme(visit what is in this rom)
Optional :
Flash a whatever cm7 kernel for more performance (like px)

[Q] Where is the Battery file located in the Stock Sense 2.1 Rom?

I am currently using the Stock Sense 2,1 Rom GB 2.3.5, I really want the battery icon with percentage of the battery in it. (like in the sense 3.5 and other roms). Can anyone suggest me a way i can get it. I thought of a way by replacing it but failed to find the battery file. Plz Help!

yes sir my phone is rooted, but can you please explane me how can i use the UOT and should i just go a head and replace it with me orignal systemui and Framework with root explorer?

Open kitchen tab
Go to "file upload"

Thanks for the replay bro.
This link is for the Extended Quick Setting, I would really like to have the advance power menu, for rebooting directly to recovery and stuff..

Hi guyz, i just download samsung task manager from Gobz thread.
Here is what i did
Copied to system/app
Changed permission to rwrr ( se below )

when you push any app to system partition,a reboot it necessary for it to show up in the app drawer.

You have to copy it to system/app and change permission. For this, you need Root explorer ( paid ) or solid explorer ( trial ) or root browser lite ( free ).....
After moving, you have to mount it as r/w
Then, hold on to samsung taskmanager > permissions > set them like this
This only works with cyanogen roms, not with sense roms.

it is very good, but i have some problem
i use on crossfire v.1 rom
1.
it seems that this my rom doesnt provide "task manager"
so when i install this theme, i see task manager with info total memory - used and free
but when i clicked it, it says The application Status Bar (process com.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly...
and sometimes it dont restart the process itelf so i have to reboot
can you help me? maybe providing me the appropriate com.android.systemui
2.
when i want to choose Clock Widget, it doesnt show the thumbnail
so i have to blind-choose it, although it works good

Hi Kawung,
1 - you can try to copy Taskmanager.apk in System/app folder of your phone and it should work
2 - about the Clock Widget thumbnail, i forgot to update it when i modded the widget

mmm...although it show the information reversed
when not clicked it says used 167mb free 252mb..but when clicked used 252mb free 167mb
