Help me restoring my stock backup plz!

Hey fellow xda members,
problem is that i was using stock rooted .53 ics rom with unlocked bootloder and ics stock plus v17 kernel, wanted to test official CM 9.1.0, so i backedup my rom and installed CM and wrote boot.img (thru adb) which came with CM rom, now i want to restore my backup but No matter what recovery i use, it says md5 dont match, i checked md5 sums and it matchs with the md5 file in backup folder, the thing i assumed is that i have to flash stock kernel and for that i have to download full firmware to get stock rom back, but my internet connection is too slow and stops downloading firmware at 190~200 mbs, is there any solution without downloading firmware and extractin stock kernel out of it? if there isnt any other option thn plz give me a link to stock kernel.elf.
thanx in advance!
Edit: Thanx everyone problem is solved, i renamed my backup earlier (as i do in my HTC One X+ but these recoveries doesnt support spaces in bacup names) and nandroid.md5 file was damaged, these two reasons were stoping me to restore my backup

I never heard about .53. If you like try .55 kernel.sin below. flash it via fastboot.

Thanx gonna try it, hope this solves my problem.
You can flash Advanced Stock Kernel, SSpeed Kernel, even the recovery kernel made by bin4ry, format everything and then try to restore your backup again.

Some questions i will bomb if i didn't get the answers!!

Hi:
this is some questions that i searched so much without answer!!
1- We know that one of the mothod for root , is to flash custom kernel that have auto rooted before.
So if that was right , when we flash a stock kernel by flashtool , the recovery and the root must gone is that right?
If you said that is righ i will say that some of the other methods of root is to flash old kernel , then root the device , then flash new stock kernel.
So if the root was in the kernel it have to done but it still in the device. How is that?
2- I have talked about the method for root by flash old kernel then root then flash new kernel.
Why this method work for some versions and don't work with others?

I think..... The answer you're looking for is....
Because once rooted the root access is in the system so flashing kernel only doesn't affect the system files

If you flashed a .sin file then your bootloader is unlocked. That means your probably using a custom kernel. It may just be stock kernel but still a custom one.
Some stock kernels not made by Sony have CWM built into kernel.
For a Sony stock kernel you can find one in your stock ftf file. Also there may already be one made, just search.

Follow the link in my signature to my recovery thread. In the OP you will find a section on preparing flashtool. Download your phones stock ftf file and flash it using wipe everything & exclude nothing. That will give you stock Sony kernel and firmware.

Cwm can be located in both Rom or kernel. For my locked Ion it is added to Rom. For my unlocked X10 it's in kernels.
Do you want just the stock kernel? Or are you just seeking knowledge?
~Jaramie
still from my X10S

I am just wondering what you are trying to do? It will make it easier for me to help you.
Do you need to get cwm off your phone?
Are you asking why something already happened?
Are you trying to learn how to do something?
I understand our language troubles. I will try to be clear with my help, if I can

In HTC devices, they have their RUU (Rom Update Utility) for reverting to stock. The RUU is a single exe file which restores the phone to stock firmware. In Sony, we have the firmwares in the form of FTF (Flash Tool File) files which require a software called Flashtool by Androxyde to flash the FTF file to your phone. Also, flashing of FTF files is done in download mode (volume down and a green led) and not in fastboot (blue led). Hope this helps.

Bootloop

I accidently screwed up my build.prop file. Now my phone is in a bootloop. I tried a factory reset, and that's not working. I figured there's probably a way to push a build.prop file through adb. Does anyone a a build.prop from the factory sprint rom and a quick tutorial on how to get it on the phone. Thanks in advance.

I assume you're on a stock rooted rom? Its been a while since you posted this but if u still need a flashable zip for the stock build prop let me know. Thats easy enough.

I would greatly appreciate if you could upload that for me. Thanks
OK. Hold on. I assumed you reflashed your rom by mow.
Here you go. I had to make it on my phoe with rar app.
Its a stock build prop from one of my previous roms. I just renamed the build version. I also edited the updater script to set permissions. If the build prop is what's causing your boot looping then that should do the trick. Let me know if it works for you.
That's what I needed. Thanks a million
No problem. glad I could help you out.
