Help!
I am unable to activate my phone. 4g is working fine. I'm rooted on Macks PlainJane. The problem came after I updated to MC2 using the AIO.
I can update PRL, not profile, and I get an error code 1500
If need be, I wouldnt mind setting it back to the out of box unrooted condition, as it is now... I can't make or receive calls.
What can I do?

If you know your MSL you can fully reprovision. But what you probably need to do is:
##72786# > edit > enter MSL > phone number > enter 10 digit number > back up a page > MIN > enter 10 digit MIN > back out to home > reboot if it doesn't do it automatically.

What build/radio are you on if 4.1.2 and baseband ma7 or mc2 you'll need to roll back to ljc/4.1.1 and then open dialer select edit and enter 000000, then let it fail. Open terminal emulator and type(case sensitive) getprop ril.MSL > enter and copy the 6 digit code that shows up sandwiched between the 2 lines.

Yeah I usually type out the entire steps for master resetting and reprovisioning like you would do if you were going to activate a used device. I've memorized the steps and can repeat them without even thinking about it now. sprint should be paying me since that's what a csr would have you do if you call in with the same issues. I just save people the hassle of having to call and deal with a moron.

I would suggest asking in a rom thread where this is implemented and ask in what apk / file it is contained
As soon as you find that out you could try merging it with the corresponding file on TW and see if you can get it to work...would probably require some smali edits at the very least
Thats the only way i see to do it anyway, seems more like a framework thing than an unlock the setting thing
Look in /csc/feature.xml search for pin/pattern lockscreen, then search for the press ok line and change <true> to <false> or vice versa.

So while looking at my inventory request form at work I noticed this saying the optimus was EOL. Either it is or my company is full of s***. I feel like the 2nd is more likely but maybe y'all know something I don't!
Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk 2
If true, this would make the second phone Sprint has EOL'd shortly after release. This would also make it the second flagship phone Sprint has done this to as well.
I saw this the other day on an inventory form. It sucks...But it happens. Early signs of it going EOL was the BOGO deal.

That is weird that it is the highest selling device, not that anything is wrong with the LGOG just no one trusts LG and people only want Samsung or Apple. I can tell you that it is the complete opposite with Sprint.

The OpG is the best phone on Sprint at this time, so unless LG is dumping us for a shiny new model EOL on the OpG is just insane.

Well that sounds really really depressing..
I am having trouble wrapping my head around it. Usually my logic is spot on. I have came up with these theories. It either had something to do with the Samsung or HTC phones coming, poor sales, or a conflict with LG. I am just guessing.
The hardest thing to grasp is that the hardware is really the best. But, the HTC with be a superior phone in specs.

LG has a history of this. They release a phone with buggy software, get a sh!t ton of compliants then instead of working to fix the bugs they take your money and run away to the next piece of crap they want to sell. Even the nexus 4 is having issues with crappy screens and other issues and LG isn't trying to fix anything. Googles going with Motorola for the next nexus which is what they do, drop a mfg if they have issue's. Except with Samsung the only reason Samsung isn't making the nexus currently is because their contract expired and Samsung didn't want to renew it to focus on their own device's.

Here's the official Imgur app for android. It works anywhere and is fully functional, however it cannot be updated due to location checks. When you open it it will ask to update the app, just select "remind me later and proceed using as normal. It is laggy and a bit buggy since it's still in BETA. Most of the lag is in the custom menus which have to override androids built in menu. Feel free to report bugs you find so other users are aware of them, however there is nothing I can do to fix them except try and pull and add updated apks as I find them.

I had a friend of mine in Australia pull the apk and send it to me. All I did was rip out the 2 dozen or so location checks so it would work outside of Oz. It was checking gps, network location and IP locations and had it scattered all about the entire app. Took me a few days to find em all and not break the app in the process. I was actually surprised it still worked after removing atleast 10% of the file size worth of location checks.

I got there and turned it on whent to download mode no problem. I get home hook it up to my pc put it in download mode and nothing, odin doesnt recognized it at all. My pc didnt make a sound. Then I tried with keys the emergency recovery tool. But nothing. Well its asking for recovery code. But my device not registered, cannot get to recovery mode eather. I looked and when the phone is in download mode, it sais, i900 modle, but its a d710 . Did someone flash the wrong stuff .. I don't really mind the loos. I knew it was a good possibility. Does it make you feel better about yourself to belittle me for helping a person that was not sure what they were looking for?

We normally don't help people that refuse to help themselves. A 3 second google search would have answered the question for OP.

I normally try to help people who are dealing with a subject they know nothing about and they ask for a little guidance. After all, it only took me 3 seconds to look it up. What goes around comes around.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Same 3 seconds it would have taken the OP to look it up, instead of spending 5 minutes starting a new thread about something that has been covered extensively over the last year and a half.

Thanks Sher, I was just messing around.
I'm just trying to get better android integration with my Kenwood deck (similar to icrap) navigation, album art, and better ui.
And I truly appreciate "a true XDA member" thank you.

Download ES File Explorer. Change the Root Options to R/W. Hit the / at the top. Find system > csc then feature.xml.
Maybe try YouTubing feature.xml, I'm sure someone will walk you through it.
I solved my problem in this link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2033894
while some note 2 have a feature.xml under /system/csc, others have an others.xml under /system/csc. and my note 2 has second option.
thank everybody to help me..

Lol. Might have been nice when I was about 17 or 18 but my job pays too good for the hours I work, plus I mostly work from home unless I have to go do inspections.

I used Titanium Backup to uninstall it or you could use Root Explorer or another file explorer app and delete the Gmail.apk from system/app folder. Then reboot and install the inverted Gmail like a regular apk.
