Would it be possible to write a mod,
With the features which Samsung has Announced at UNPACKED-EVENT???

Wouldn't that be buying the Galaxy S3 and just sell your Galaxy Nexus? -_-

Be more specific, like u want ALL the stuff announced at the unpacked event? The answer would def have to be no.

Yeah for sure some things can be brought over but it'll take time.

It wouldn't be so hard to port the GS3 rom but not all the features will work. Many of them, but not all.

Really though they should strip the features out of Touchwiz 4.0 and include them in the roms. Either that or debloat Touchwiz 4.0 and make it look stock.

No...NoteII is not officially released it but I have read here that it is available for pre-order online....

Is the 64 GB version going to be a release model, or will it release way later like it did with the S3?
Is there an SD card port?
How much is the SPen?
How mod friendly is the Note? By this I mean I suspect it's basically the same as the S3 but do the mods do a good job of incorporating the pen?
What are some good apps that are optimized for something like the Note as opposed to other android phones?

I think 64gb version will be released late as Sammy has been doing for ages...
Yeah....it has a external microsd cars slot.
Spen for note was around $100 here in India 3months back.But since note2 has a different spen,I suppose it can only be said when Sammy puts it on sale...
By mod,do you mean custom roms???if so,if the rom is based on stock rom,it will be fully compatible.But if the rom is AOSP,you will miss all features of spen but still you can use it as a normal stylus.
You can find all spen optimized apps in samsung's s-choice app.

Will Google Now be avaialble since the Note 2 will be running Jellybean 4.1? Or will S Voice be the only option avaialble since that is part of touch wiz?

Google now can be downloaded as a standalone app from the market separately. It can be used alongside s voice.

[REQUEST] Note II's Multi Window feature

Hey guys,
just saw today a short clip with the note 2 in action. And the phablet got rocked the **** out of it
The guy using it just made a swype and a bar on the left side appeared, that contained a lot of shortcuts for some apps like video player etc.
So, there were two apps running at the same time. Just looked awesome, really awesome.
It would be great if some of our devs would be able to port this killer feature to our beloved phone. I think there is almost no limitation expect the 1gb ram -.-, but nevermind it will be okay.

I think we can make our CPU to work at 1.6Ghz and not 1.4 without heating as Note II.
I believe the processors are same.

Topic changed to your title I just couldnt point it out as good as you But actually only 2 devices in the world can do the multi window feature Note 2 and Note 10.1 But this is imo a step further to real multitasking. Cause the "multitasking" we have on our phones at the moment isnt even comparable to the one of windows... If I hear MT, then I think that a lot of apps run at the same time, but when I just got out of the FB app with Home-button and then go in again, the **** reloads -.-' thas not really what I imagined...

So there is a ROM leak for s3 international. It has multi view. Can someone grab the needed stuff and make a flashable zip for 4.1.1 twiz. Multi view allows you to have 2 apps on screen at same time or 2 browser pages. With this on s3 the 3rd party dev potential is huge.

I saw no post for this. I searched. And there is now a s3 ROM with multi view. There was not before. Instead of acting like a jerk, show me where. I try to be a contributing member of xda. But every time I post someone says **** like this. Shut your mouth.

Haha.. I saw the new multi view update for the international s3 earlier this morning.. I was going to made a thread here about this.. but I started drinking.. (yes I was drinking at 8 this morning).. good thing I didnt because of the crap ur getting.. good job.. this is a good thread until we actually have it on our phone..
I made a thread about a car dock for our phone that was 10 dollars.. and I found out it was sold out.. lol I haven't been in back to that thread since.. I don't want to see the wrath they put down on me because it was sold out .. lol..

I wish we had quad core. But we can over clock our dual pretty high and still be stable. Thanks to k tweaker kernel.

I know I have Google, but what's this multi view, I'm about to look it up, but explanation or link in the op definitely would hurt anyone feelings... I hope.

Sac23 ROM unofficial synergy port has multi view working great just go to sprint gs3 android development download his ROM then do a full wipe and flash his ROM right after you flash his ROM flash the stock lj7 kernel I've been running it and have had no bugs at all

You do realize that's no S3 in that picture.

It's not that simple guys. Multi window requires many smali edits to many jar files. I don't see it being something that can just be a flashable zip the dev would have to incorporate it into there Rom.

The sac23 synergy port is working great. Be careful changing camera setting as it could bork camera. Also stock browser is wonky, but I use chrome. Close thread multi window is here.

Photosphere

Does the galaxy s4 have the photosphere app just like the one from nexus 4? I tried looking for it in the camera settings and couldnt find it.

No. I have it on my Samsung Nexus 10. I don't know why they couldn't put it on this flagship. I guess they thought panorama is good enough.

Only nexus devices have photo-sphere at least out of the box..... How I miss this feature pictures were amazing

Sammy is supposed to come out with samsung orb which will be their photosphere.
