Cyanogen Mod (rom) - same as the other GSII's?

So I've done the whole search thing, and XDA now offers a cool display of related threads when I start a new one...but I haven't found something related to Cyanogen Mod 7.1 for our variant of the GSII.
I hesitate to flash cyanogen because 1. it's not stable anymore (according to their forums), and 2. our model of the GSII is arguably not like any of the other GSII's because we have a different chipset.
Had anyone tried to flash cyanogen mod onto this phone or does someone know that it works?

10-22-2011 EDIT: So people don't need to sort through the clutter, the answer is no there isn't CM7.1 for the T-Mobile variant of the GSII and no one should attempt to flash the one from cyanogenmod's website for the GSII.

Cyanogen mod roms are built specifically for each device. Don't ever try to flash a build from another device. Even the ATT and International galaxy s2 have differently builds even though they're pretty much the same phone

DO NOT attempt to flash roms that were not specifically made for our devices! The ONLY roms that are safe for the TMO GS2 can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1332

Can you post a link where it says cm7 isnt stable any more? I just compiled cm7 for the 3 mytouch 4g's we have here and its flawless. Just wanna see if its device specific or what. Ty

None of the unlock solutions from the market work on our devices. If you are a T-Mobile customer, you can call in and request the unlock code, otherwise you can get it by faxing in your sales receipt. My statement was in reference to the GSII only. Users reported too many bugs...but again that's not for our GSII.
If you check their forum there is no more "stable mod" link to 7.1 for the GSII.
The mytouch4g should be fine.

I apologize to you if my question was naive. At least I didn't go posting in the developer forums.
The development seemed active enough for this device that I was considering there was a chance of availability. I'm also not rushing or demanding anything from the developers/developer community. I also give thanks and donate to them.
Other's have graciously answered my question, and to them I say THANKS.

I too am interested in getting Google Wallet on TMO T989. The only reason I'm replying here is that all the discussions in General did not work for me. My question is are any of the developers trying to bake this into one of their ROMs? Or has anyone got this to work on the TMO variant easily. I know I'm a noob but learning as fast I can... thanks in advance.

I don't think it'll be baked into the ICS ROM like Verizon who omitted it in favor of their yet to be released ISIS. The carriers want you to go with ISIS so they're gimping by removing Google Wallet. I'm guessing we'll have to winch it in like the folks over on the Galaxy Nexus had to do. As for the SGSII, some people claim it works and others not. None of the posts here on XDA have worked for me and was just wondering if any of the developers was working on baking it in.

Be more specific, like u want ALL the stuff announced at the unpacked event? The answer would def have to be no.

Really though they should strip the features out of Touchwiz 4.0 and include them in the roms. Either that or debloat Touchwiz 4.0 and make it look stock.

no it isnt that simple. as stated 50000000000x before, we are CDMA, they are GSM and so is the international version. because they are both GSM they are much much more simple to port.

Know it all spouts off about this that and the third not to mention the 50000000x different things ppl say about this same topic. I'd rather ask something twice then break my damn phone. I told him to have some patience because he asked the same question already. Everyone should know that CM10 is the catalyst for every other AOSP rom. So yea, have some patience.

Could not find much more info about the thread. Nor anything about CM 10. Info is sketchy at best. Galaxynote2root.com is all I could glean from the web. Anyone? Love the AOKP but no WiFi tether on that one.

I understand devs needing phones to dev on, but, wow there is a lot of threads on xda for people buying other people phones! I just can't get on board with that anymore. To many people have scammed to get phones for "development"
