Help for information! Battery Theme - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello XDA I apologize if this has been asked I have searched and searched and can't seem to find it, nor the correct question for Google.
I'm trying to find a way to theme the battery charging icon when my phone is off and well.. Charging.
I've seen that AK Kernel changed it when I flashed (also a rubix cube mini boot logo). Is it kernel specific and is there any forums with help on this topic?

MIUI Android

Is there a reason to why I can't comment or create posts on the Miui Android forum even though I've signed up?

is there a reason because you are asking this on a i9250 Nexus forum (you roll with a i9300, which would be a SGS III), and a question about another forum (MIUI Android) on XDA?
*facepalm*
Haha I have a Galaxy Nexus, I just changed the build so S Voice would work.. I'm asking here cause there are some miui users that live on xda.. Like myself.

DarkCNA MMS text color?

I just flashed 1.0.1 of DarkCNA over 1.0.0 and it looks as though the dev removed the blue font color of you texting someone.. Is there any way to get that back in 1.0.1, or would i need to revert to 1.0.0? Hopefully you can change it somehow in 1.0.1, but I haven't found out how yet... Thanks for the help!
You should probably ask this in the snapblack thread and hopefully DaXmax can give you an answer.

I would, but I'm unfortunately not at my "post prerequisite" to be able to comment in the dev section... Maybe you could relay this message to the thread for me? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Tapatalk & forums

Hi,
I'm wondering why tapatalk got so little forums,
if i search for a specific forum it will not be there,
is there a way to manually add a forum I want to follow?
thx
Sadly it is not as easy as adding a forum. As far as I am aware tapatalk needs a plugin to be installed and enabled at the server/forum side in order to work properly with specific forums.
I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong..

Sad indeed!
If a particular form is not available, contact that forum's administrator and see if they will install the plugin. It's free, iirc, and life is easier for everyone all around.

Stock 4.2.2????

Can anyone post a link for a stock 4.2.2 ROM for the Verizon Nexus? I've searched and searched. Also, a lightly modified ROM, with just basic performance mods would be nice as well.

You must be blind as there is a return to stock thread in this exact forum

A light but performance optimized rom? Maybe Android Revolution HD will help.

Go to a Google search page and type "galaxy nexus factory image". Pretty good odds that you will find a link to the Google page that has all of these. Amazing what a quick Google search can uncover.:banghead:

In terms of stock ROMs, you can visit http://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images. That will always have the latest stock ROMs. If you need something older for some reason, I keep a firmware archive on my website that has old versions. You can check that out at http://www.randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/galaxy-nexus.
Thread Closed.
Not sure if the second part is a "best" ROM type questions. But you got an answer above. Please look at features, etc and see what works for you.
But the first part can be found with a quick search. Please search before posting!
