Can anyone post a link for a stock 4.2.2 ROM for the Verizon Nexus? I've searched and searched. Also, a lightly modified ROM, with just basic performance mods would be nice as well.

You must be blind as there is a return to stock thread in this exact forum

A light but performance optimized rom? Maybe Android Revolution HD will help.

Go to a Google search page and type "galaxy nexus factory image". Pretty good odds that you will find a link to the Google page that has all of these. Amazing what a quick Google search can uncover.:banghead:

In terms of stock ROMs, you can visit http://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images. That will always have the latest stock ROMs. If you need something older for some reason, I keep a firmware archive on my website that has old versions. You can check that out at http://www.randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/galaxy-nexus.
Thread Closed.
Not sure if the second part is a "best" ROM type questions. But you got an answer above. Please look at features, etc and see what works for you.
But the first part can be found with a quick search. Please search before posting!

imo there should be subthread forum for those that are having issues with their CUSTOM ROMs only.
there is still a sizable portion of folks that like being on stock 4.0.1/4.0.2

All this ICS, JB, AOKP, AOSP, Stock etc... ROM hunting has made me install about a million ROMS on my phone. What I am trying to understand is which ROMs provide the attached dialer that I like in the image included. It is the only dialer I like as it provides quick, simple and recognizable links to important phone functions for me.
The problem is, I cannot figure what dialer is attached to which type of ROM, is there an easy way to figure this out?

I take no credit... just passing on the link to help others out.
Flashable Zip with all the 4.2 GApps. I installed on my VZW GNex running MiNCO v5 with no issues.

Really? Enough? This is the first post of it's kind that I've noticed in the Galaxy Nexus Development forum.

You're right, let's make a couple of these threads in each forum..
Asked moderators to move it.
There is no 4.2 GAPPs on Goo Manager so this is not official
And if you didn;t make it, it don't belong in development'
This belongs in APPS if it was real
Thread moved and closed

Hello all, I've posted this on the Nexus Evolution thread, but haven't gotten any response. I am wondering if there is a way to install the stock Android 4.2.1 theme onto the Nexus Evolution Rom. I love the rom, but loathe the theme that it is built upon. Is there any way to do this? I tried flashing to one stock theme that I found, but I think it was from 4.1.2 it bootlooped. ANY help would be awesome.
Also, if this isn't possible, can anybody recommend a theme that is close to stock?
Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is in the wrong thread, wasn't sure if it should go here or in Themes/Apps.
I do believe the developer posted there was no way. This also belongs in q n a. Way too many posts poppin up in dev thread lately that arent dev related

The last post in the Thread is from a Mod and says that the OP is no longer on xda. Sounds like they may have moved to another sight.
Glad you have it 6.. I must've been replying the same time zain was.
Please do not link to work off-site of XDA from members no longer here.
Google the work and you will find it
Thanks
