Just confirming: You know this isn't the actual firmware, right? I just want to make sure you know.
Find the one you want here, if that's what you're looking for: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9500
I have rooted my phone already, but did no dumped it in its original state, can you flash this using odin or you flash it using CWM? regards.

I rooted my own using CWM.
Yes, I did too with CWM, but to restore my phone to a state before i rooted can I use your dump and flash it via odin or do I flash it via cwm? Or do i need to donwload the official firmware from the link you gave me before?

Get it from the link I said in the earlier post. This is just the dump, not the firmware so you can't load it as it is. I suggest using Odin once you have the firmware.
Thanx, will do.

Sorry about the wait, I just checked up on the thread and found your request: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w95a7ckgkpvpyhj/SystemUI.apk
Hello, I'm new here in the forum and would like to know where I find a tutorial explaining how to flash. I saw some Rooms here that interested me, but do not know where to start. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy i9500 brings originally a firmware with the characteristics of your room (I9500UBUAMDE). I would be grateful for a answer.

Last question though, which firmware should I download? The last thing I want is a bricked Note 2. Behind my battery, the spec as follows:
FCC ID: A3lGTN7100
SSN: N7100GSMH
Made in Vietnam

hey i got the same question here, right now im on paranoid android root and everything, but if i ever wanted to go back to stock, as far as i have read, the proper way would by just installing the official firmware by odin right? of course after unrooting the phone and getting the flash counter back to 0 right??

Hey thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah I followed this guide at a blogspot website.
It had me flash it with WICKED v10. It didn't work so now I just want it back to normal and I will purchase a sim unlock code from somewhere.
I followed another guide on youtube on how to get it back to stock which I followed.
For the most part it took off most of the Wicked stuff but on the lock screen it still says WICKED and there is an icon with utilities for it, So I am guessing it is not completely removed??
I tried using the phone reset function but still it remains??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949687.
On the first post, you'll see the firmware under ***root66***. Click "Show Content" to get the listing of zip files. Under the T999 heading (not T999L), grab the zip file for T999_UVDMD5 - Official JB Firmware - Latest JB 4.1.2 Firmware.
Once you have that, scroll down to the second post - it will tell you how to flash that file via Odin (as well as download links in case you don't have Odin). This will return your phone to stock everything (including recovery) but with Root injected into it so you can flash a custom recovery after the reset. It will also upgrade you to Version 4.1.2.
Good luck.
--EDIT-- You'll need to go to the second post to the part entitled, "How to Flash the Stock Firmware" and the sub-heading "Using Odin".

I did flash with ODIN the stock firmware but as stated it still says WICKED on lock screen and in apps there is a control panel for it. So it is still not all gone. Just want the phone as it came in box in first place. The link you gave me is very confusing. I know a lot about many subjects and can learn quickly, but right now I just need a guide that step by step tells me how to do it.

[guide] install at&t kitkat e980 stock flash + root + recovery - complete wipe !
FOR AT&T LG E980:
Basically, from my experience I put together this guide for anyone who wishes to flash a complete stock AT&T KitKat from .TOT file and the root and add recovery.
All the steps are what I have gathered from around the forums, SO I WILL GIVE CREDIT FOR STEPS THAT ARE OUTLINED BY OTHERS. These people helped by their postings.
FLASHING TOT FILES:
1. The BEST - I think a lot of us can agree - thread for the LG E980 flashing with STOCK firmware is this by HYELTON http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44983841&postcount=1
STOP OVER THERE AND GIVE THE MAN SOME LOVE AND THANKS !!!!
.TOT files and .Kdz files for all versions can be found at Hyelton's thread above. Also, more details for flashing .TOT vs .Kdz files there. Below is some tips from my experience.
Here is the exact TOT file I used: http://www.mediafire.com/download/djjmck2eost77e3/BIN_LGE980AT-00-V20g-ATT-US-APR-28-2014+0.tot
SOME OF MY TIPS: FROM MY EXPERIENCES
2. The only hitch is getting LGFlash Tools and hacking it. I tried the links on Hyelton’s thread but some are now too new to be hackable. For example, one must find the reg key for the new version of LGTools he links to. Megalock.dll is hit-or-miss. There are other ways for sure but I did not bother further.
3. I found that lower versions of LG Flash Tool (v 1.4.1330R) works just fine.
EDIT: The latest version of LG Flash Tools is here http://www.mediafire.com/download/6g1uyoz2zsiqq1c/LG+Phone+Flash+Stuff.rar
And it contains the DLL to be used during flashing. I STRONGLY SUGGEST USING THIS. You MUST -MUST- TURN OFF INTERNET WHEN USING FLASH TOOLS. This pack contains the full software, and dll files. I have flashed using just this package >10 times at least while testing roms
a.Connect phone and let Windows install drivers. In my case, Windows 8 default were just fine.
b.Put your phone in download mode.
c.Connect it to your computer. In case of windows 8 the windows default drivers work fine.
d.Follow Hyelton’s steps.
EDIT: See posts #32and #33 in this thread. Do not go back to download. But wait for fastboot to install. See post #33 for this. Just wait patiently, the phone will reboot to full normal mode/setup screen, then the LG tools will say pass. BE VERY PATIENT.
ROOTING AND RECOVERY:
ROOTING:
THANKS TO jarari2:
1.This method here works just fine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699067
Simple bat file method. Turn ON USB Debugging before trying.
2.RECOVERY:
THANKS TO hoangnova AT http://lgviet.com/forum/threads/moi-thu-ve-lg-g-pro-4-4-2-root-recovery-kdz.14841/

I went back to pure stock and no custom recovery, then did the 10p update - I found that the update to 10p would not work with other than stock recovery. I then just used the settings query for OTA update, downloaded and installed - all my programs and data were intact after the update, except apps requiring root would not run correctly. I then followed your steps to root. I still have the stock recovery at this point. KitKat runs great.

So when going back to complete stock the 10p, how did you keep apps, settings if you used odin.? Just interested in your procedure since obviously OTA on stock will retain programs and settings.

Honestly, I don't know. I had been flashing lots of different ROMS and then went back the total day 1 stock. I then updated OTA to 10p a couple of months ago and rooted but did not flash a custom recovery. I then heard that 4.4.2 was available, checked via the about link and downloaded. All the apps and data stayed in place. I then rooted and have yet to flash a custom recovery. I'm sorry I can't give you more detail. But I can tell you that I seem to have better battery life, and I had to pair my phone to my car again. Good luck.

The nonhlos.bin version must match the bootloader version. For example, if you have the NB7 bootloader, you need to have the NB7 nonhlos.bin. Flash the proper nonhlos.bin.

Thanks for the reply. How can I find out what bootloader I have? I pretty much had rooted my MetroPCS S4 shortly after I bought it back in July of 2013. It was still using Jelly bean 4.2.2. with older firmware M919NUVUAMF2. I hope that info helps. Would I need to find a different nonhlos.bin file or update/upgrade my bootloader? AP. Uncheck auto reboot, flash it, when done pull battery, back to download mode and flash it again and reboot. Just to be 100. Sometimes bootloader and/or modems have a issue writing to the device.

Edit: Looks like you're flashing the firmware...good choice.
If you've never flashed a different firmware then you would need the nonhlos.bin from the MF2 firmware. You can find that firmware at this link, under firmware...
http://androidforums.com/metropcs-g...cial-metropcs-s4-root-information-thread.html
Alternately you could just flash the new NI3 firmware like shiny suggested. It would be easier altogether. Your manufacturer warranty has expired so updating the bootloader is no longer an issue.

The firmware? No. Mobile odin doesn't flash bootloaders.
Modems should be able to yet I've never used it
Hi I am hoping I can find some answers here .
I flashed twrp to my s tab using odin and had no problems flashing it to the device.
After flashing I tried to enter recovery mode with vol up, home and power keys, I instead get brought back into download mode with an error of "could not do normal boot".
This is a Japanese docomo tablet and Im not sure if its the bootloader that is locked. I have tried other things such as CF Autoroot, Nexus root kit etc to unlock the bootloader with no success. Ping pong doesnt work as my rom is not supported. Ive been trying for 2 days to get both my S6 and my tablet unlocked and tring to get rid of the bloatware on these devices.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Which twrp did you flash?
I suggest you download the stock rom for your model.
At least you can get into download mode and recover.

I have a docomo carrier branded device. I have a spare untouched tab here and wanted to backup the stock rom and flash it back to the one with problems.
Is there a tut I can get a link to that can show me how to do it without being rooted?

Thanks for the info, managed to flash back and get into recovery.
If the bootloader is locked is there any chance of root or twrp at all?

Root yes, custom recovery no. Are you sure you are bootloader locked?
What is your exact model version?
You can use Samsung phone info from the play store.

The model version is SC-03G
Product code: SM-T707DTSEDCM
Bootloader : SC033GOMU1ANKD
Kernel: 3.4.0-3402897
Build date : TUE NOV 25 22:29.39 KST 2014
Also says "root existence: Yes"
Dont know what the last part means. Im guessing it means I can root the phone and get rid of carrier bloat?
I also have an S6 Hoping I can root/custom recover too
Root existence means your tablet is already rooted!
I'd double check by downloading root validator from play.
Is this a wifi only model as it's unusual for wifi models to have locked bootloaders?

gave both the android app and the computer version a go with no luck.
I rooted the SC 03G by link of @Tetsuri: http://wiki.tesuri.org/Android-SC03G-root
But after installed Xposed and edited something my TabS was bootloob =.=
Does anyone have stock firmware of SC 03G T707D (Docomo)??? I searched on Sammobile but does not have for T707D , just T707V only.
any solutions?

There are only two firmwares listed here : http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SC-03G
I checked that link and it seems to be for the SC03GOMU1AOC2 version.
Im running the SC03GOMU1ANKD version. Do you know if this will work?

AOC2 is an update to ANKD so should work fine.

That worked and given me root permissions now. knox is now tripped though.
Any apps or things I can be pointed at to allow me to remove bloat.
Also I wanted to know about firmware updates.
How will I be affected by installing OTA updates? There is an update in the system which auto downloaded and I still have the notification for it.
System app remover and titanium backup for bloat.
If you already have the ota then it may still install.
If not you can install it via odin.
May be we won't update new firmware by OTA after rooted. i checked by myself. Anyway do you know when we have Lollipop for TabS T707D, because T707V (Verizon) already have 5.0.1.
Thanks for the link @tegstar83 thought I searched on Bing found it, google have no clue ^^'
Any one know about docomo phonebook? It runs under com.android.contacts is it ok to delete/ uninstall that app?
