Does anyone know where I could get a 95% transparent status bar mod with a transparent status bar background as well? I would do this myself if pointed in right direction

Its located in the systemui.apk. you must decompile the apk and find the xml containing the color code. You change transperency by changing the first two hex numbers. It should say ff right now

Do you possibly have a link to a tutorial ? Same procedure on touchwiz?

Do any one know how to make status bar transparent?? Please Help
You have to open up twframework.apk and replace the dropdown background png with a transparent one and then stich it up after wards flash it through clockwork
I reccomend if your not an advanced user you should just request it in thenes and apps section

Date and clock are not image based so you won't find them. Signal bars should be in systemui.

i havent themed ICS yet, but if they are in the same place as gingerbread this thread might help --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831715
that was from this time last year when a few of us were figuring out where everything was in gingerbread
I may as well help you out as I've themed the whole of ICS and know it pretty much inside out...
The clock and the date in the dropdown are linked to one color in an XML. If you decompile your framework-res.apk go to res\values\colors.xml. change the following "Holo_Blue_Light" to whatever color you want, this will change the clock and the date color. The blue line you are referring to is in the systemUI, in the drawable-xhdpi folder. The image is named "Statusbar_hr.9.png" as its a .9.png I'd be careful editing it.
I hope this helps.

Does anyone have or know where I can find a flashable file that makes my icons in the status bar look like the actual multicolored icons? Several devices sort of do this as I think the Note and other Samsung devices do...thanks ahead

Okay. So. First question.
What values to be changed to make the status bar semi transparent and what values to be changed to change the color of the grey bar below the carrier text in the status bar. When pressed, I want to change it from blue to green.
Also, what program do you guys use for editing the images? Gimp is too slow and tedious and sometimes doesn't save with the transparency.
Thank you.

Status bar transparency is in smali I think. As for the little bar that's a PNG in /res/drawable-xhdpi of the systemui.apk and I use gimp. It works perfect maybe you should learn how to use it better

Status bar transparency is in drawables.xml of systemui. Line 5.

i have made a nav bar height mod into a zipthemer mod so you can use it on any jb rom.
if someone tells me where the nav/statusbar colour is located and what code transparent is i can also make this mod so it can be used on any jb rom with zipthemer app.
i have made the following zipthemer mods.
100% battery mod.
cobolt blue system icons
blue loading spinner
center clock
nav bar at 36dpi (i can do any size).
see following screen shot
cheers steve

ya bro right but my main concern is with colouring and design i know many developers are here who can do this brilliantly so just gave them this idea (if anyone don't want to copy them so they make their own styles n design its just the idea nothing else)..btw i saw your work you are doing a good job i hope someone come forward n make these for Gnex users
Those reflective keys look real nice...
