i have made a nav bar height mod into a zipthemer mod so you can use it on any jb rom.
if someone tells me where the nav/statusbar colour is located and what code transparent is i can also make this mod so it can be used on any jb rom with zipthemer app.
i have made the following zipthemer mods.
100% battery mod.
cobolt blue system icons
blue loading spinner
center clock
nav bar at 36dpi (i can do any size).
see following screen shot
cheers steve

ya bro right but my main concern is with colouring and design i know many developers are here who can do this brilliantly so just gave them this idea (if anyone don't want to copy them so they make their own styles n design its just the idea nothing else)..btw i saw your work you are doing a good job i hope someone come forward n make these for Gnex users
Those reflective keys look real nice...

I was doing some searching but didn't come up with anything besides reloaded.apk but is their any other way to make the status bar transparent on Cm9?

i was actually wondering this exact same thing earlier. I know on GB you had to mod the statusbar.xml to get it to work. I wonder if ICS still requires this or if you replacing the .png for the status bar with a transparent one would work.

Can anyone explain how to make transparent or semi-transparent statusbar for our lovely GIO, in general or particularly for "CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1 Miracle Edition" rom (my favourite)?
As I had read lot of related posts (for other phones), followed instructions but failed at the end.
Thanks!
When i have time ill make one if it isnt ready in a week pm me, then i forgot it

Extras
-- ICSTheme Original - 60% Transparency on Status Bar: I modded the same version already included in V4 to have 60% transparency if you want to use that with launchers that support transparency. I made it to 60% and not less cause icons color in status bar is such that does not look very nice if used with light-colored wallpapers Mediafire
-- ICSTheme Transparent - NoTransparency on Status Bar: Modded transparent ICS Theme by Achep with no transparency on status bar but with power buttons toggles and colored icons on Phone Options Menu Mediafire
-- ICSTheme Transparent - 25% Transparency on Status Bar: Modded transparent ICS Theme by Achep with 25% transparency on status bar, with power buttons toggles and colored icons on Phone Options Menu. Due to icons color on status bar, this one can look very nice with dark wallpapers Mediafire Added on 20.05.12

As I use Go Launcher EX, the ICSTheme is not working. Anyway, thanks for your info and great job the rom!
BTW, I got FC when I pressed CyanogenMod settings -> System -> Anonymous statistics / Update notifications. Is this only my phone's problem?

You're welcome. The last time I've tested go launcher It was laggy and with a lot of problems. Does it works good in new versions?
New launcher In new update. Maybe tomorrow

That's good. Thanks!
Eventually, I did it.
Method:
change "suiac_statusbar_background.9.png" to 25% opaque (75% transparent)
of "com.achep.theme.ICSandwich.apk" and replace it.
Thanks!
Hi anyone know of a way to change all the status bar to white in slim I can change the clock to white but still signal and wifi data etc still blue.

Try a kanged ROM, they usually have features, like that...
If there is nothing else, that features that sort of mod, then download Jack Pham, he had that stuff built in, but he also distributes pirated software... :/
You could prob compile your own rom with it white. But welcome to screen burn in city. That's why Google changed it to black.
Thanks for the replays its just the icons to change I'll look into that jack pham you mentioned. As for compliling wouldn't know where to begin lol. Any dummies guides?

The icons are already white, you just have to reduce the transparency (available in AOKP)

Do you even know what kanged means? Slim is basically a kang of AOKP.
AFAIK there are NO roms that allow you to change the signal color, or the battery color, without a theme.
Hmm..shame I'm not looking to theme just the icons hopefully the kitchen will support ics soon

If you want the whole statusbar in white, you can try a few themes if you have AOKP or a rom with theme chooser support.
Syk Sky is a predominantly white theme for AOKP.
Frost is a paid theme in the market but I think it is the best white theme out there so far. It has a white statusbar with black icons if that suits your fancy.
Ghost is a combo AOKP flashable.zip + theme chooser theme for those that want something more complete.
Sorry, I was thinking the nav bar when i have my earlier response...
If you want to switch icons, i would recommend finding a battery circle mod and switching the icons out in the mod before flashing it - I use CirclesMod by Hooolm

They also changed it to black, because they wanted Android to look sleek, and modern ^^
As title says, if anyone has/can make a status bar mod for AOKP 4.2 that simply gets the clock/wifi/signal/battery and all stock status bar icons and makes them white that would be great!
AW: [REQ] AOKP 4.2 White status bar icons
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DeNitE.theme.DeNitEwlfree
Taste that theme maybe you like it
Link is broken but I wasn't looking for a complete theme, just wanted the status bar icons to be white.
+1 for this

Hello, can somebody port this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236937&page=3 to our devices as well ? when i flash it the dock icons are all out of order ;\
It is working great for me, you have to flash the xhdpi version. The only "issue" is the page indicator in homescreen, the dock icons overlap the page indicator but thats ok. You can also enable pie and expanded desktop and it will look beautiful.

" It is working great for me the dock icons overlap the page indicator but thats ok. "
Its working great when the dock icons overlap the page indicator ???
I don't know what your phones look like but for me its looking absolutely ugly !!
I also really hope that one of our genius devs here can take a look into it and ADJUST it so that it is working fine ( without the need of pie ).
The launcher is nice. I found another issue. If you set it on list view and have folder created, then you can't open it.
I think i found out why its happening... unlike other XHDPI phones the nexus has onscreen buttons right? so the launcher gives space from the bottom for the nav bar compressing the contents of the launcher together causing the overlaps. I guessed this since i tried this on Paranoid Android and when i put the nav bar size to 0%, and used Pie Navigation, the overlapping was gone. But bring back the nav bar though.... the icons overlap again.
Im still using it along with pie right now and havnt found any other issues with the launcher except for some lags.
Here's a screen shot... :good:
I will post a flashable zip on the launcher later
This is how it looks on my galaxy nexus
