Looks pretty fun
looks great. love how lifting the phone changes the camera view.
I love tower defense games, this is definitely gonna be one of the first games I buy
I just have to say wow, I mean this game is awesome. In all of the windows phone 7 lineup I'd say this game is only second to ilomilo. The premise is pretty simple, you take your puck, and in as few shots as possible make it past any array of goblins, skeletons, trees, whatever they might throw at you while collecting coins along the way. Sounds simple and boring but once you get to the later levels in the game it really becomes challenging to get that gold coin. Before I tried this I thought I'd be holding out for Super Monkey Ball next week before I picked up another Xbox live title. I was proven wrong, if you're not a big app purchaser I'm sure it will go down in price eventually but if you don't mind throwing out a couple of bucks for a game then this is awesome.
Playability- 10/10, the controls are amazing the geometry behind it is flawless and the game itself has a fun overtone with the narrators.
Replay value- 6/10, I could definitely play through this and come back for a round two after mastering it. I'm not putting it down until I've finished it 100 percent though.
Xbox live integration- 4/10, I love that I can transfer my gold over but if you're past the early levels of Fable 3 the amounts of money you'll make through this game really aren't that considerable... maybe throw in some special gear if we get certain achievements or something but the money... just seems like a cheap afterthought.
Overall- 9/10, the game is awesome but they always leave you expecting more when they promise integration with the associated xbox 360 game. Regardless though this game is definitely worth the purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I downloaded the demo and I have to say, it was quite fun and I don't care for Fable at all. The game itself is just very well done, looks great, and is just plain fun.
I'll take a look at it in a bit

torso
I think the torso is a bit long. Otherwise it looks great!
How about one of him looking at a phone in his hands with the screen lighting up his face, like he is playing a game or texting...
How is everyone's gamepad holding up and how long have you been using the phone?
I was playing Marvel vs. Capcom last night and forgot how hard I like to mash the controls! Maybe because the phone's smaller than an actual controller, I feel like it's so much more delicate.
Let me know if anyone's buttons have begun to stick, break, or just quit working and being responsive.
its a really solid gamepad for me, ive had mine for just under a year now and ive played heaps of games, emulators, ps1 games etc
there has been no sticking or breaking for me, just for a few games there have been issues because im on the ICS beta

You just mean compatibility issues on ICS, right?
Are we talking about the gamepad and the buttons or ICS here ?
It's pretty damn durable.
I've dealt with Windows Mobile, iOS, Windows Phones and other Droids... needless to say, having BUTTONS was such a damn relief that I went on a fighting game frenzy (I kid you not when I say I've played almost every fighter released in the past 20 years)... and the Xperia PLAY's been taking it like a champ.
I saw a article once where sony claimed that you could beat the hell out of the gamepad (to an extent) and it would still work.
As for mine, the only thing wrong with it is the scratches caused by sliding up and down
All buttons work fine for me, and i bash them a lot, only had since christmas though
Perfect, this is just what I wanted to hear. Looks like I can mash away then!
I'm so surprised at how good the controls feel, especially the D-pad. They have such a nice click to them and still feel good rolling forward and back (Hadouken!)

I agree. All the buttons click nicely when pressed. Sony Ericsson did a very good job !
Honestly, the only complaint I have at all is that my hands cramp from holding the small device and pushing buttons quickly. But what can I expect, it's not a controller, it's a phone.
My hands probably wouldn't cramp as much if I didn't make Megaman dash-jump every step he takes...
The gamepad itself is durable, but the flex cable inside the slider sure as hell isn't.
the Xperia Play gamepad it's tough i guess
mine works like a clockword :good:
but the slider of this device feels frail

My slider on my xperia play is weird. Sometimes if i slide my xperia play closed it shuts itself off.
I think its pretty durable slider seems pretty good give ls a reasuring clack when it slides open and close the only think I could complain about the gamepad is the L/R triggers after 6 months of my second play (first I dropped down the toilet) the R trigger seems alot weaker than the L because of heavy fifa and FPS gaming but love this phone would like a xp2 but thats a different topic ..

Gamepad still works great. Still got that clickiness to it but the slider is a bit loose still not a problem though as everything works.

I thought it looked great when I played, much better than on my A500 with it's 10 inch almost-same-res screen. Nothing stood out as bad...in fact I am playing it now to be certain, and it looks just great, want me to take a photo with my camera while racing?
