Would like to enlist help of recognized Dev. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello,
I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules!
I would like to make a donation to one of the Devs for the sprint sgs3. I am looking for a custom ROM, and I do mean custom, more tailored to my needs. I am not asking for exclusive rights, but I would like to have this custom built, who knows, maybe there are more folks out there looking for the same thing!
I am willing to discuss the details of this including the amount of said donation. I honestly don't know what it would cost for something custom fit, but I am aware of how long it usually takes to bake something up, and that is a respectable amount of time.
I appreciate your time and am looking forward to hearing from you!
Additionally, Thank you for making XDA awesome Devs!

Honestly, unless you want something like a custom theme made for your apps, you can do everything else by yourself.

While I understand and appreciate this, time and patience are not on my side in this endeavor. If it can be so easily done however, is there a debloated TW based Rom out there as smooth and light as CM without the bugs. Im running clean bean right now. Nice rom but just a little buggy.
Im looking to have a tw based rom that I can almost seamlessly run Next Launcher or SPB Shell on while maintaining great battery life. Believe me ive combed the forums and internet and I just cant seem to find that just right balance.
I appreciate any advice you can offer.

For battery, flash ktoonesz kernel and go here for the maximum helping of tweaks: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032956. For the other things, there's a thread around here for what apps are safe to remove, just remove/freeze everything you don't need

To the OP, have you tried TPR Rom? It comes with aroma installer allowing you to choose between several options or launchers, and most available kernels here on xda. Also allows you to choose which Google apps you want plus the ability to install some other necessary apps like flash player, titanium backup etc... As mentioned before you can the debloat by removing or freezing any of the carrier or manufacturer apps. With the use of morphology you can theme exactly how you want as well. Just a suggestion.
It also has an incredible support team and Rompnit who has given every user who has requested anything specific whatever they have asked for almost immediately.

Total noob new

Hey, all, just wanted to say that I'm new to Android and have probably been on here during the Samsung Blackjack days.
Any who, I need to be pointed on the right direction. What is the best ROM to use right now (stable)? I really hate the T-Mobile bloatware and have already rooted my phone, using the required steps given by this site.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Juggernut
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Saying which ROM is best is very subjective. I would recommend trying dewizzed, macnut, and juggernaut. Those in my opinion and in same order are the most stable. Try each one for a days and see which one out ultimately feel suits you best. Everybody likes something different so start flashing and testing.
There is enough hate in the world. Why can't we all get along here ...?
I use spotify with my phone, does it need a specific ROM or it just needs to be based off of Gingerbread or whatever?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
If you like the feel of the stock ROM, but want extra features and tweaks, go for Juggernaut. It is extremely fast, stable, and well developed overall.
And spotify should work.

Yea, I hear yea. What I meant to say is I want a stable ROM without the Tmobile bloatware and I want it to be faster than what is already loaded; a slimmed down version.

havent used jugs in awhile but i believe you have lockscreen options under rom manager..and on the market there are tons lock screen replacements. go locker, magic locker, those are 2 good ones out of many. once you have either those simply find what theme you like.

ROMS, ROMS and more ROMS. . .

I use to post and utilize this forum when I had a Vibrant. I love my SII. In fact, I love it so much that, although I bought it the day it came out, I have waited until now to finally root it.
I'm so out of the loop. Are the ICS roms ready to go as daily drivers or should I wait until T-Mo drops theirs? If it's all G2G, then what are your opinions on what's best?
If you feel that Ginger is better as a daily, which is good to jump into?
Keep in mind that I am not looking for super powers and problems. I just want a good daily driver. I like being able to back **** up and use some of the features available to rooted devices, drop bloat, and theme a bit.
I'll run a log of my experiences and try to find issues, if necessary, so that this thread can appropriately stay in this section. If that still is considered a rule breaker, then I politely ask the MODs to move it to the best section.
Thanks in advance.

Whether you run a log of issues or not, the topic has no bearing on development.
I can tell you from experience that the ICS Perfection is a pretty stable build. I have been running it for a week without much of a hicup. Obviously the gingerbread ROMs are more stable then the ICS ones. I used the CM7 build as a daily driver before ICS and lived it. Since I went to ICS, Eugene has started work on fixing some of the bugs on his version of CM7. Best thing to do is test them out and see what one is your style.

~ STOCK
~ Completely deodexed
~ Rooted
~ Busybox
~ Zipaligns at first boot
~ CIQ stuff removed
~ Slightly debloated (removed like 8 TMO apps)
More bloat can be removed, but I'll leave the rest up to the user. --- [whitehawkx]

Smooth. No tweaks...just stock ROM that's been optimized and a few tmobile apps gone. A good Base Stock ROM. Only thing is that in the Video app...only 2 of my 22 videos are animated. This happened on another ROM...but works perfectly on stock Samsung.
If you're looking for a STock ROM that's smooth with no CIQ. This is it.

This bring back great memories with the ownership of the Vibrant.
With this new phone, the learning begins all over again, this time around I am a bit wiser to the phones hardware and to the rom's capabilities. Now this will enable Developers, Themers & Kernel cookers to explore their development skills and to take a stab a themes.
Now I have to spend time with this phone and identify the bloatware and look for the right tool to remove them.
Thanks again oka1
Excellent Rom
I love this Rom - to me it is the best out there. Everything works fine. It's plenty fast with a stock kernel, no quirks from what I've seen. I've tried CM9 and other roms which are good, but this is a good base Rom.

Sprint Galaxy S3
Whiplashh Rom
Look it up.
Being a non dev rooter, I thoroughly appreciate what the devs get done for our happiness. I don't even bother making requests, as there are tons of roms kernels and themes to change up my s3 hundreds of times over... Thanks guys for all your unpaid hard work. Keep it up!
Sprint Galaxy S3 injected with Wicked Sensation Rom

SGH-T889 UVBMB4 4.1.2 What is the best roms that work with this phone?

I currently am running Frosty Bean and it is a fine rom. I would like to try others to compare but run into Google login, apn issues etc.
I've done all the wipe dalvik, system cache, etc.. but haven't been able to get any others to settle in and run.
This isnt my first rodeo I've flashed my Lg g2x tons of times. I see the modems vary here by models.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx XDA

Try Tweaked I use to flash Roms every day and sometimes few times a day when I first brought my phone back in November, but since I found Tweaked I don't have the need to go anywhere else. Is a wonderfull Rom and wonderful dev.

A third on Tweaked 2.3 rom.
two things that got me into tweaked away from jedi series roms
*you can hide that stupid blocking icon when you turn on blocking mode
*WORKING group text messaging!!!!!!!!!
it has all the pluses of Jedi Master 14 and more customization ohh yeah working wifi calling tooo:good::good::good::good::good::good:
Tweaked FTW!! Definitely worth a peak.

one other thing i might add to why i like tweaked over Jedi, low battery notification disable. this is especially usefull when you have a 9300mah ZeroLemon battery, where you can stay at 5% for 8 hours..that beep and nag starting at 15% can lasts for hours on end!!
Yes, go tweaked. The dev is an actual Dev, not just someone who dumps a bunch of random mods on the rom. He actually knows what he is doing. Try it out!

Hey guys, Tweaked is the truth abs by far the best ROM for our phones, but be careful. Some especially this last post are coming off pretty disrespectful to our devs. pmtr3 does some amazing work and a lot of original work. Just don't want this to stay making devs want to quit supporting a community because they feel like it's disrespectful.
By the way xamindar, give it a shot just "dumping random mods" and let me know how stable that turns out. A lot of work goes into even the "basic" ROMs.

If i sounded like i was being disrespectful, I apologize. No way did i mean it to come off that way. I appreciate what YOU Developers do for us. I know i cant do what you guys do. Jedi/pmtr3 roms and kernals are great thats why i use it as a reference standard to compare to.
I should have chose my words better since i didnt think that it would offend someone else. sorry
Tweaked is the business. The dev is super mature, very amazing attitude and personality and his work matches these qualities, bar none. It's also a joy to see a community very, very active. It means that this ROM gets a lot of dialogue in its thread, which leads to great ideas, trials, progress and advancement. I came from another ROM that just went stale. No dialogue. And I've tried other ROMs on XDA which are pretty ingenious and brilliant, but the smoothness of Tweaked, the vision it projects and employs and support it has is amazing. And nothing ever feels broken. More and more conversations are about progression than fixing something that's legitimately broken in the ROM. The Dev is also extremely approachable....if you have ideas, just Private Message (the preferred method) the Dev and you'll see how engaging he becomes. Very, very professional feel to this community. Check it out.

You didn't offend me and I'm no Dev. I'm just trying to learn. My comment was more directed at the other guy who came off very disrespectful (whether meant or not). I don't want people like pmtr3 or the other real devs to get offended. I mean tweaked is the best, but you can never have to many options.

To me, Tweaked is the best fit for my tastes. It's rock solid, and like others have already said here, Dwitherell is amazing and his OCD leads to a very polished final product for us to enjoy. the degree of customization you have is
Unparalleled. Not only options you set when you flash, but also through TSM parts. The initial Lure for me was the ability to hide that damn annoying persistent notification for Smart stay and blocking mode... Etc.
I could go on and on... But really... Flashing is easy and fun... I recommend trying as many as you want and decide for yourself.
Plus... Tweaked had something no other ROM does.... ALEXIA!

Well said. Jedi ROMS are awesome as well. Ptmr3 is one hell of a nice guy as well. I'm grateful for all of our devs here, but those two gentlemen are awesome dudes.

WHAO dude. No need to get offended as I was not directing that towards anyone. I don't think it is very nice of you to throw out other devs names as of trying to defend them for something that wasn't meant towards them either. This can make them look bad.
And your second paragraph is what I am talking about. People who throw random mods together and call it a new rom usually end up creating something very unstable. Point is, tweaked is NOT this.

Again, I'm not offended I just didn't want it to go there of insulting the hard work or devs do. I may have took your quote wrong as saying that's what the other devs do. So I was just thinking of the biggest ROM and dev we had and said that's not what he does. So for the misunderstanding I'm sorry.
All our devs do great work, but I do agree dwitherell is on another level! He originates mods and has been since the DROID charge!
