Just installed a new update:
Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband: L900VPAMA7
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-903705
Build Number: JZO54K.L900VPAMA7

Yes..This was announced. It fixes exynos although I'm still wondering what that means. What was wrong with our exynos to begin with

Yes do a Google search there is a security hole this will patch it up

My Sprint Note 2 is Root I am not able to update. Getting some error message If I do an update will my root will be down ?

If you upgrade, yes, you will lose root privileges.

Higher numbers and letters usually mean this, yes.

There was an error which allowed non system apps to write to restricted storage, this could cause malicious apps to wreck havoc by essentially having a back door. This mmc erroneous write was part of the way the camera and the chip worked together

I belive so. Another thing I noticed is when you hoover over a folder with the Spen it shows a prview

The hover thing was already available. I use it all the time. You can hover over pictures in the gallery too that will do the same

Download the zip(search for it here) . Rename to update.zip and reboot into stock recovery to apply it.

Ive also noticed we were getting a OTA soon. Because every time we get a sprint zone update a over the air is coming. Its happened when we got MA6 and MB1 and now MD4. Also when i opened sprint zone and when i go to my device is shows system update.

Nope. Put it on manually and you won't get the ota.

A friend of mine has Verizon and got hers last night but she cleared it. I told her to wait. Ive learned there are always bugs the 1st few days.

Highly unlikely.. There has been no announcement or ETA on the 4.3 build for Verizon.. it was probably just a patch update not a version upgrade.

the sprint note 2 support site shows it was updated today and the MK4 4.3 update has been removed.

Time to give back to the community. Not too sure if this is already floating around out there or not but here's the TAR for the 4.3 update. I downloaded the update through KIES and was able to find the sneaky zip file on my computer before it deleted it away. Lo and behold, inside of that folder was L900VPUBMK4_L900SPTBMK4_HOME.tar.md5. This SHOULD update everything to MK4, including your baseband.

I need someone to test a ROM for me. I'm almost done porting it and it should be good to go just wanna make sure it's OK before I make a thread.
It's a 4.3 tw MeanBean ROM. Mostly stock look..but tweaked beyond belief. The thing flys. So fast
