Yup! Already working on porting! Though id be willing to bet that someone else beats me to release!
If not it'll be later this afternoon/evening before I can finish working on it though, just a heads up is all. Don't go gettin all impatient!
Are you talking about source for sprint that's been released? Or has it dropped for us too?

Damn can I say damn... sorry mods if I can't. I've heard though that T-Mobile was good with their software... Oh well, running the Sprint port now and it is smooth.

Me too via BlackJelly. Its definitely very nice with KT kernel. Been on it for 3 hours with 1 hour on screen time and some music and I'm only at 77%. My new DD for a while I recommend it to everyone.

Screenshot it home and power simultaneously. Also what's the update say?
Are you rooted? If so don't go through with it yet and go to a root explorer and go to the root of your files and go to /cache and pull the update (update.zip) and then upload it to something. From there we can have our own magic of a ROM.

**** just read the other thread in the faq section. I'm on ulhv2 its probably the j4 update . I am rooted also with clockwork mod. I'm gonna have to figure a way to go back to stock

My Sprint Note 2 is Root I am not able to update. Getting some error message If I do an update will my root will be down ?

If you upgrade, yes, you will lose root privileges.

There was an error which allowed non system apps to write to restricted storage, this could cause malicious apps to wreck havoc by essentially having a back door. This mmc erroneous write was part of the way the camera and the chip worked together

The hover thing was already available. I use it all the time. You can hover over pictures in the gallery too that will do the same

shouldn't be too hard for those that know how to build from a source. Should come out pretty stable also. I'll give it a go of course, but doubt I'd be able to stay on it for too long.

So far, i personally like the way it looks and acts.. But it suppose it'll depend on performance and stability, functionality.

Hoping that a multi-boot loader is developed. It would be awesome to dock this thing to a screen. and still be able to use android while mobile

i'd suggest you not flash this right now, as it's clearly stated that the ROM is only for the Verizon Galaxy S III, d2vzw.
flashing a ROM from another phone could cause your device to hard brick.

Nice, that means one step (or in all reality, multiple steps...) Closer to this bad mamma-Jamma on our babies. I've heard that it's not ready for daily use but I'm down for something new. Also been thinking about getting a Nexus 7 soon to try this out. Or a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for the larger screen... Still can't make up my mind...

Technically, it's the mounting points that differ. You could go into the updater-script and modify the mount points to match our phone.
I assume it has a while sperate kernel though? (I haven't looked). If so, that would clearly be a problem too.
If nobody else has done it by tonight, I'll look it over when I get home. I'll be out all day searching fort parts for my project car.

JB Features

For those that have updated to JB, do you guys have all these QSlide features that were mentioned in the YouTube video of the release? I don't see any of them ..

I dont yet either. just exploring first. im wondering about the multi windows though. has anyone found out about that? My battery life has increased a little.

I read in a thread that they will focus on the features in the next couple of updates instead of 4.2. So We'll probably see it in the next update (whenever that is)

i remember when it first came out how people were saying it looked just like a nexus update and how sprint had no idea so it was either lg or google that pushed the update

An easy way to tell if Sprint or LG pushed the update is if the update came from checking update firmware (sprint) or update LG software (LG). Being that sprint doesn't even have the update listed yet I say LG pushed it. All phones from htc to Samsung have two updating options one from manufacturer and one from sprint.

Download the zip(search for it here) . Rename to update.zip and reboot into stock recovery to apply it.
