That is correct, but to use the vzw gnex with page plus you need to flash a patch to use toro ROMs. Otherwise you get no data..
So to answer the OP question, no you can not use a toro ROM, you have to use a toroplus.
You can however use a toro ROM with the patch. Look for the thread about flashing help in q&a forum. I don't have the link handy..

Wait, so are there less bugs on those than our version of cm7 or is it basically the same thing?

From the looks of it....it is for the first GS2 AT&T released not the skyrocket (the one with the different SoC)

NO!! Do not flash this, this is for the original galaxy s 2, not the skyrocket! You will brick your phone!

Yea after I saw that other post I stopped myself from flashing lol. That could have been bad
I personally apologize...this was one of those "telephone game" things. The link to the cyanogenmod forum was to the non-Skyrocket phone, and as far as I can tell there have NEVER been nightlies for the Skyrocket. This is the closest thing I've found:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364223
Made originally by slayher, the same guy that made the one for our phone, so it's probably pretty much the same thing. The link I just added here might have a ROM that has been slightly updated, but I seriously doubt there will be a significant enough difference to justify using it.
We are all stuck waiting for any actual developed ROMs to appear. No leaks, no fun things to do, just sit around and wait for the CM team to put something out there...eventually.
i know it was said in this thread but please
do not flash att&t cm7 nightly builds.
It is not the skyrocket. there are two att&t galaxysII variants
you should prob change the thread title and ask for a delete or move to trash because at least one person will try it !
please make a new topic this one is dangerous for newbs

Thanks man! Now I can flash all the ROMS I want!!
BTW, what's the difference with the LTE and GSM and others? I don't really know what version is my phone.
unlock your bootloader first, now that you don't have much installed on it, it will wipe your data when you unlock it (you need it to flash roms).
read OPs of each rom you're going to try, TWICE. try to learn how to get yourself out of trouble before you run into it.
even if you're an experienced flasher, i had some strange urge to write this.
welcome

One is CDMA/LTE. One is GSM. That's the difference.
You have GSM unless your phone says "Verizon" or "Sprint" on the back... And considering you're in Canada, you don't have either one of those.
This is the first phone in 6 years that I've run out of things to flash...a good thing anyone else got that trouble?

Erm.. Flash AOKP and you won't ever be bothered to switch ROMs.
Some of the devs have nightlies, so no, i haven't had that issue! Always something new with a/multiple new feature/features. Plus with theme manager and the amount of roms supporting it, i can go straight on performance and then easily pick my theme.

? I just use my nandroids. The only time I use titanium is for specific apps to carry over.restoring system settings can be problematic

I'd like to flash Provision, but I don't believe there is support for the i515, yet. I've been wanting to try Liquid Smooth, but AOKP just suites me perfectly...I'm scared to make the switch.

no, it was meant to provide clean android experience without skins and bloatware, and ease of rooting and unlocking bootloader for those who care about it
there's nothing wrong with flashing, but flashing several ROMs daily is kind of stupid, people end up not using their phone as a smartphone, instead it becomes just another toy

Nope, as a "developer phone", it's meant for developers to have a stable and clean platform on which to base and write their apps for

hehe my thoughts exactly. These att roms will work on tmo. Anyone tried Sprint roms yet?
I've got the other case -- an unlocked AT&T GSIII and I'm on T-Mobile. Any problems loading up my AT&T phone with a T-Mobile ROM? How about a T-Mobile radio? Never mind, started my own thread, no need to derail this one...

Yep Sprint roms work the same, Verizon don't work yet because they have a sim verifier I haven't located yet. Forgot to mention, some AT&T and sprint roms do have carrier specific apns-conf.xml's but can be replaced with one from ours with ES file explorer. So that means no data, but most work out of the box. Be careful.

No to the radio question, you use the one you have installed. Factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then in advanced, wipe davlik cache. That's it, next flash rom.
As for a list,
I love Aristodemos, using a modified version daily.
Kyan rom is nice.
Ariel,
Triune,
blazer,
and Miui all work well from AT&T.
