I thought I recalled reading that you could install HTC's fast boot from the Desire Z and HD on the original Desire. Is this possible or am I just confused?
You can use a hd or z rom port with deep hibernation but installing that option on other roms is not possible.

Hello, my Htc desire HD will no longer turn on after i pulled the battery out during a software update as it didnt seem to be doing anything after 15 minutes. All that is happening now is that I can see an orange charging light when it is plugged in and it stays on even after I have unplugged it untill i pull the battery. I cannot get it to turn on or go into Hboot, any ideas ???
You use a HTC Desire HD. So please ask your question in the forum for the HTC Desire HD.

What is with this people? These questions are asked almost daily in the past week or so.
OK so I think my DHD may have a software problem. When I use the HTC Internet application (to my knowledge this is the only app so far that does this) and I try to go back to the homescreen I get the HTC logo (I can still see the notification bar) and a box that says "Loading" with a spinner next to it, then it loads. What is this?

It means that your Sense Launcher is crashing and then reloading. This could be due to low memory.

Hmm... Any possible fix for this? The only thing that I don't like is this. Other than that my DHD has served me well

It is happening exactly the same to me, but I am on RCMIX 4.0 ICS themed.
I was thinking was depending on Juice-defender or memory management-patch (Killersloth).
Annoying but it is not a big problem. I noticed it happens when you have to press "back" button many times (due to the navigation history) to exit internet browser.
Hey guys,
are there more with a long loading time with whatsapp when your device is on Wifi or is it just me?
It takes here sometimes a minute! it's getting frustrating.
tnx,
Niels

Try WiFi analyzer app.to see your signalstrength and used WiFi channels from access points around you..
Or remove what's app.and reinstall.

I had this problem and I just tried reducing the securitysettings in the router, psk2 to psk for example. And it worked. Dont know why, phone should be able to handle both I believe.
