So I'm on Android 4.2.2 (LiquidSmooth v2.2),
and pretty much ever since a long time ago, I use Battery Monitor Widget to charge the battery to most maximum capacity.
I would make the update rate every 1 minute, then as the % goes from 99--->100%, I would see the charge rate slowly but surely go from +200mA to +100 to +50 to +2 to +1mA....then once it reached +0mA, I knew the charge was COMPLETELY done (I had even set up a notification trigger to play music once "Charging Completed" had been properly reached)
However, recently, for some reason, or maybe it's the ROM or maybe I'm doing this wrong to begin with, but the "mA" will not hit +0mA, it was just stuck at +1mA.
Neither does the music/song play to indicate "Charging Complete". What is going on? I use Greenify but I made an exception for this application.
Any help?
It's probably the rom. It could be something to do with the enhancements he has on it.

I checked it out and you should probably check out the settings, go under sounds and alarms. Also a recalibration might help.

So, I've been using CleanGB 1.1.2 for a few weeks, and I tried flashing a cm7 rom. Didn't like how much issues I was having, so I restored my old CleanGB rom. Ever since, my battery life is pathetic. I have an extended battery, usually charge it from 40% to 100% while I sleep. Now, its always charging because it dies so fast.
Take a look at the links, anyone have any answers? Thank you!

Try wiping battery stats....
If you don't know how the process works you can look at Qbking77's video on it- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbYVv4nCveM
Percentages don't tell us anything. What is your display on time? What is listed in running services? How much deep sleep is your phone getting? These are all that matter, not the battery screenies.
If you have 30 minutes screen on time with high intensity and are syncing something in a poor signal area that percentage is typical. If your phone is just sitting there and it drops that much an hour later then there is an errant app not closing.
Wiping battery stats does nothing... id recommend follow kenny's advice here, we can't really help you if you don't help us help you =].

Any advice on making sure these apps don't start unless I make it start myself?

Problem is clear, all stats are fine except android system and display,no way is display that low it should be at least 60% the higher the better as it uses the most battery out of the lost batt, android system is way to high and I don't think there is a way to check what exactly it is, I would say flash a new rom.I had abnormally high cell standby and the other cell think I forgot the name haha, flashed a new rom (reaper 2.2.2) and I've had normal stats with display using the most. Get cpuspy battery monitor widget and spareparts and analyse your batt

That is just a misreport. It groups everything the phone does (basically being on except deep sleep) into Android System. The important stat is Display time.

I'm evaluating Juice Defender Ultimate on CM10, but it's too early to tell. Have you tried looking at running apps and see if you have something stuck in a restarting loop? Maybe get Cache Clear and clear out a misbehaving app cache (not sure that would have an effect)...
Not sure if its from an app cause this doesn't happen on gingerbread. If it were though how would I identify the offending app?

I run juice defender ultimate with the cm10 nightlies. It doesn't seem to be consistent. I have gotten the same results as the OP even with JD running occasionally. One other thing to note about JD is that it doesn't seem to retain my settings. It winds up defaulting back to the balanced profile. I haven't done extensive research yet. Just some minor observations. But using JD (when it works) is still worth it to me.

Try to freeze google maps, if mine is unfroze it wakelocks every 2 minutes. -.- also turn off network location. system updates can mess up your battery life too. also, disable google now if you dont use it, its a battery killer as well. i get at least 1:40 on a stock battery screen on time, and 5-7 hours screen on time with a 3800mah battery. phone usually deep sleeps.
I do think google maps was the culprit here, I cleared data and cache and that seems to have really helped. Thanks for you response.

What's your screen on time.
Looked kinda like liteflow might be causing problems?
Cell Standby i think is the one that is coded wrong and is lying, ignore that one.
If you press Android System in settings, battery it will show you the top components being used
Also in dev options look for and check Show CPU Usage. It will show whats using the cpu in the top right of your screen. Watch for what stays in the top few spots in the list.
There may have been something that didnt like the update. Try first uninstalling apps and if that helps reinstall them clean, no data restore. If you continue to have problems backup all data and factory reset. Start clean.
If all else fails use odin to flash the full LH2 fw.
LH2 should be a fairly stable build. Most have no issues and many get outstanding battery life. Im willing to bet its either an app or the way you updated or both.

That's really not THAT bad for a screen on time. I saw your screenshots in the OP, and you were down to 80% in only two hours of being on the battery, but you had the screen on for almost an hour of those two hours; 20%/hr for the first few hours is pretty normal. It's not stellar, but I wouldn't say it's an epic drain that being said, I'm sure you could squeeze some more juice out of it, and prob is just an app causing more drain than usual.
Also when doing a screenshot, it helps to hit the power button first, then the volume, so you don't get the volume pop up every time.

Put a new battery on my phone since I've been having charging problems (yes I've tried different cables this was last resort), battery was fully charged turned phone on and left it alone for half hour. I check the phone and it's gone down to 90% in that time.. I checked Gsam to see what was using up the battery and 70% was being used by "Media" im not downloading anything so I don't know why it's using up so much power...
I'm on Slim Rom Build 7 with K7 kernel if that's any help but I've been having battery problems/charging problems for awhile now no matter what Rom I use... stone have any ideas why it would be draining my battery like that?
Move your media files off your phone, then clear data on Media Storage and reboot. Wait a bit and watch for it to continue. If it stops acting up, copy your files back to your device.
This used to be a big issue last year with all our leaked firmware. Media scanner would hang up on something causing it.

And I am pretty disappointed in the battery life of this thing. I used a htc one for a few months and I actually think it did better than this beast. I got to say though, the display on this thing kills everything I have ever used as far as the enjoyment from the massive size. But when I was looking into this thing I kept hearing 2 days easy with this guy. I am at 23% at 250pm when I took it off at 630am. Is there something I have set wrong or is this typical. My htc would be at 25-30% when I went to bed at night usually. I do have automatic brightness checked just an fyi because that is the first thing people will prob ask.

I can't comment on the original battery because I ordered a 7960mah battery off ebay the same day I bought my Note 2. I take off at 6:30 am also but my battery is at 73% and it's 3:28 pm. I knew I was going to abuse my battery so I replaced it before it even had a chance to let me down lol. Also, I'm running Paranoid Android 3.96 (Android 4.3) which is one of the custom roms that gets good battery life.
Wish I could be of more assistance?? Well here you go.
1) Disable daydream in your display settings
2) Flash a custom kernel for stock roms...I would suggest Saber or Perseus
3) Download STweaks after installing a custom kernel and perhaps underclock your processor to 1.2 Ghz, you shouldn't see a big difference in performance but should get a HUGE savings on battery life.
3.5) You can also allow your device to go into a deep sleep at 200Mhz while you're not using it. It's kind of like having your phone completely off but will instantly wake when you get an email, txt, etc. And afterwards after a user set time, it will sleep again until either you wake it or get another message.
4) Last but not least, if you really want to tweak your stock rom into tip top shape and aren't comfortable flashing alot of mods...download Pimp My Rom from the Play Store and let this app do the work for you.
Hopefully some of this will help you out.
**If you one day get familiar with flashing custom roms, this will be a huge savings on battery. I would recommend 4.2 roms or 4.3 roms because they aren't bloated with alot of the Sprint/Samsung junk that is running in the background, ultimately killing your battery without you ever knowing it.**

I can't really say if the kernel affects the battery life that much, unless your underclocking which am overoclocked and still get great battery life but as of the smoothness saber kernel is great for me. I cant remember the last time I restarted my phone because of slowing down or just somthing wierd everything is smooth and fast all the time. Plus voodoo sound is very nice. You fail to show your screen on time. You probably have like 3hrs worth and at 55% for all we know. Which is what I actually get from this bad boy before I hit the 50% mark. On a good day I can get 6.5hrs of screen on time and I have lots of stuff syncing in the background.. 3 email accounts, Google services, Weather, Facebook, Samsung account, Skype, Tango, Twitter, ubersync, Voxer, what's app, YouMail and fring.
By the way did you get a brand new note or did you buy a used one? Battery could be faulty or another thing could be you are in a bad coverage area which drains batt.
