you can use this method to have complete CWM without rooting so you should be able to flash a flashable zip file.
follow it's steps, just dont flash super user. instead of it flash your theme.
even more you can root with this method, without changing custom binary counter. nad unroot if you want, and nobody will notice. It's super easy.

Do you want to deodex your current rom or just ROM.zip from ruu cuz if you want to deodex the stock you are currently using the steps are abit different. I ll make step by step guide if you answer me.

Updating to new firmware deactivate the root

You can root again using mskips tool kit, it gives you lots of rooting options.

Hi
I was on stock Rom rooted then flashed xtx9 and lost my root. I now can't root my phone at all.....tried using root any android but it doesn't work. I really want to root my phone so I can go on xzx and disable the on screen buttons.
Can anyone help please and btw I have an Xperia s

Haven't read anything?
Try the toolkit! It's very easy to use and you just can follow its lead while flashing via odin etc.

Can I flash any tar file via odin
