I am looking for the prl for ntelos. I have very limited data. Currently I have no 3g available and I know it is a good area. I think i have the wrong prl for my Droid 4. Does anyone know where I can find the correct one?

My prl is currently 60681 but I am seeing people with ones starting with a 1 or 2
What's different about those?
Samsung Galaxy S Dos indeed
I checked with Sprint yesterday. 60681 is the correct one to be using according to them...I called twice just to be sure.
i understand that but what are the differences between the other ones
The prls are meant to tell the phone what cellular towers are available while on roaming. Some are using other pros in order to force their phone into roaming on Verizon's network, thus giving the phone better speeds on 3g and voice reception.

Than k you for the responses but I might need to reword this
Why the need to have 3 different prl versions what does each do differently from the other?
They might be Corporate PRLs according to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1267893
Don't know what actual differences there are when compared to the ones that Sprint provides.
Are they rooted? Could be using a verizon prl....

i have seen like 20 different prls. I went through probably 4 on my og epic. You can manually update to all kinds off different ones to get the best reception and data speeds for your area.

For the most part, those are all provided by Sprint... Just not to everybody, and some are "outdated," meaning you might not get the best in-network coverage possible.
01115, for example, was meant for certain corporate customers and allows roaming onto Verizon 3G, rather than 1xRTT for data. However, it is several months old now.
60681 is the current "peasant-class" PRL, which severely limits 3G roaming, because of expired agreements with AllTel (now Verizon).
been looking around for a definate answer on this, some say its regional, some say it doesnt matter, some say business ones.
can anyone ( factually ) give me an ideal prl for boost use? im currently on 61007 (got it from a prl update using my phone) is there a newer one from sprint that i should try?
Ok,. So I have been getting really bad sprint service at my home. I recently just found the thread on how to update to custom PRL's on my phone. I am wanting to get some ideas from everyone about what custom PRL works best for them for roaming. Verizon has better coverage in my area but need some info about which specific PRL I should use. Any extra info would help. I live in the cincinnati, ohio area.
Not sure where else to put this, quick question specifically regarding our phones. I've read that Samsung has a radio bug making it so we cannot roam on the PCS band. After using roam control and a bunch of PRLs, I've been unable to roam on 3G data in my area. How can I check if verizon broadcasts on PCS in my area? or does anyone know off the bat if it's possible to roam on verizon's 3G in southern california (minus san diego)?
Verizon? Epic 4G is Sprint. You possibly talking about a Fascinate?

no you can edit your PRL and force roam to use verizon's data as both networks are CDMA. except where I live apparently.

There is a pre-edited prl somewhere for the epic but I forgot where. If you can find it, it should let you roam

I'm not seeing anything on Verizon prl 59421 on XDA.

Questions about this device should be asked in Sprint Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting or a related thread
I have seen it before but cdma workshop freezes up and the device disconnects from the com port until i unplug and plug it back in.
and would any mod who happened by please move this post to the right section. I thank thee in advance for doing so.

Its a sprint that i want to get better signal were im at. my wife has verizon phone that has a prl # 59421. i would copy the prl but idk how to configure a optimus zone into the same state as the samsung gs3 considering its an older model phone. she gets 3-4 bars sprint 0-1 bar.

Moved.
I personally use the 56xxx series PRL on my Sprint devices, it's a Corporate PRL and allows you to roam on Verizon 3G.
I'm not 100% sure if a Verizon PRL will work on a Sprint device, unless it's been modified in some way, but that's above my pay grade lol.
Here is also a good thread for finding different PRL's
