Hello everyone, I have c6502 model, does anyone used wifi direct for file transfer.
I have seen samsung galaxy devices working well wifi direct. But no file transfer between my ZL and ION
I even tried to transfer fules to galaxy s3 mini, but failed.
If anyone know how to transfer files through wifi direct, then please help.
Remember it must be wifi direct file tramsfer and not wifi dlna file transfer.
Help...

Did you ever find a solution for this?
I already tried several wpa_suppliant files and none of them worked.. One was for the GNex ICS (didnt work on JB), and another one i tried was for the Galaxy Note.
Hi everyone, I am a galaxy nexus user from Indonesia. I just bought this device yesterday and overall it works fine.
Anyway i have tried to transfer some data from my gnex to my friend s3 by using wifi direct but sadly its not works. The s3 could read my nexus and keep trying to connect to it but did not success. I also tried the android beam and it happened the same. Does anyone know the solution?

SIII uses the NFC action to initiate a Bluetooth connection.
JellyBean uses the NFC action to initiate a Wifi Direct connection.
Hopefully when the SIII is on JB they'll do the same.

This app work only if hotspot work (without Internet)
With cyanogen i think you only use if the devices are connected at the same wifi network

Hi all, my problem is the following: I have a Nexus 7 2 all stock and a Samsung S 2 also full stock. I want to transfer files thru wifi direct, but it always fails. I can connect them, they see each other and can connect. I use the built in file manager on Samsung and ES file explorer on the Nexus. From the s2 I have the option to send via wifi direct, but the n7 never receives it, from the n7 I don't even have the option in ES to send or share via wifi direct. Thru bluetooth, all fine, but slow. What do I should do to make it work?

I use superbeam to transfer files between my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S4. It uses wifi direct and works like a charm. I've transferred apps, pictures and videos with this app.
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
