[Q] [REQ] Completely disable capacitive buttons - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay, so I've successfully managed to disable my capacitive buttons on my Note 2, using this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34247225) tutorial right here. No problems there, but it seems that they are not completely disabled.
After I disabled the capacitive buttons, I have noticed that the area where the capacitive buttons are still function! Let me explain. The capacitive buttons does not do anything, but seems to have a functional capacitivity (correct word?). Example: When I'm watching a video on the youtube app and I touch the disabled capacitive buttons, they seem to wake up the phone as if I was tapping on the screen. Also in certain apps, they seem to actually function as if I was touching somewhere on the screen. In the game "Nemo's Reef" (don't ask), when I'm touching the disabled capacitive buttons it takes me to the menu in the game and does several other things like clicking in the menu, going back, moving the screen etc.
It's not a big problem, but it is annoying and do show that the capacitive buttons are not completely disabled - as promised in the tutorial. The capacitive buttons are disabled, but the capacitive area is still functional, and (in some apps) seem to act as if I were tapping certain areas on the screen.
My question: Is there a way to completely disable the capacitive area where the capacitive buttons are?
I hope this was interesting, and it would be a pleasure if somebody could look into this and/or give me an answer.

[Q] Using capacitive buttons while touching the screen

Hi there!
I'm having issues while coding for my Evo. While touching the screen, the Evo interprets me touching the buttons as another press on the screen instead of a onKeyDown, onBackPressed, etc. (It actually sets the MotionEvent pointer count to 2, and I can get the co-ords that I'm touching that are off the main screen, for example, 830*190 when touching the back button.)
Short of coding in the locations of the buttons (which would be different for every phone with capacitive buttons, if they all have the same issue), is there any way to get around this?

2 of 4 capacitive buttons have no backlight.

My defy's capacitive buttons works fine. But 2 of them simply doesn't have a backlight.
I tried to change my rom (From MIUI to WakjUI) with no sucess. I guess the lights are somehow broken... But that's "fine", not big deal.
Deal is... They are ugly the way they are ordered. Only the Menu and the search buttons have backlight. The home and back buttons don't. I tried to use RootDim to disable all button's backlight, but whenever I lock the screen, their backlightlight just get back to normal.
Any sugestions? Any alternative would be accepted, and i really like the idea of dimming those backlights.

Question on capacitive buttons

Has anyone had a problem with the capacitive buttons not lighting up? The back button (on the right) does not light up at all anymore, and the recents button on the left only comes on if I am scrolling on the screen. Both buttons work, just not always lighting up
I'm on my second Note 4 and neither one have I had any issue with them lighting up.
Not sure if this will fix or help, but in settings->display the option "touch key light duration" will allow you to choose how the capacitive buttons light up. Maybe check that setting out and see if you can get anything to change in your situation. Good luck!

[Q] Capacitive keys and Screen off

New to a Samsung device or tablet in this case. I have a problem where I can't use the keys down below (including the home button). I also face random screen off. Hard to explain but it usually happens when the device moves away from me. Sometimes it's just random even when it doesn't move away. I don't know. Any help?
Edit: Everything in Smart Screen is disabled

Backlight/illumination of capacitive back and app switch buttons

I got an Galaxy A5 2017, and it seems like a great device so far. However, I am confused by the back and task switch buttons being switched as compared to my Z1C I used before. This is compounded by the backlight of these buttons being off most of the time - so you have to use them blindly - activating only (very briefly) when pressing/tapping them. Is there a way to have the capacitive buttons' backlight switch on when the screen is unlocked?
Cheers!
There are some apps that can do this. I use "Button Light and Touch" to keep the lights off, but it can also keep them on.
search in google play : galaxy button lights 2 , use and be happy!
If you are confused you can use Buttons remapper from Play store to switch the back and recents.
Tried this one first, set for "always on" and like the effect so far. Thanks to all.
