I've been looking for it too. I'd like to have it as backup in case I need to send phone back to Rogers for whatever reason but it doesn't look like it's been leaked...yet.
Currently only...
4.1.2 - 10.1.A.1.395 - Generic US 1270-7584 R8A
4.1.2 - 10.1.A.1.434 - Generic US 1270-7584 R8A
for the C6506 have been leaked.
I flashed the 10.1.A.1.434 on my phone and have no issues with it but it would just be nice to have the firmware the phone came with just in case.
im on that firmware too. im having trouble with mms. i cant send or receive mms. i have lte, but i feel like it goes away frequently and im on 3g or h. u got mms working?

Yeah, my MMS is working fine. My phone is 95% on LTE except at work, certain places of the building it drops down to 3G or H+ but its the case for my co-workers as well so I blame the building. Are these the settings you use for your APN
APN: ltemobile.apn
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
mms works fine.
just edit your settings
can you help me out with those settings?
Would really appreciate if someone can upload the rogers FW ><

Hello all, I decided that I would give the android project a run and see how it does. I installed and updated both the 2.1 Sense and 2.1 AOSP .cabs on the phone (removing one before installing the other, obviously). The problem I have is that I cannot get any data service on the phone in Android. When I turn on the wifi it works great here at home, but I cannot get any 2G or 3G data from the cell side. I have also tried doing the "Force CDMA" check box, but it made no difference. Is there something wrong that I am doing, or does data not work on AT&T yet? I was also able to get the GPS working, but without data its not very useful.
More Info:
AT&T Tilt 2 running latest Energy Rom (built on Windows Mobile 6.5.5) with Sense 2.5 (Cookie variant). Everything works great in Energy Rom and I get about 3.4-3.9 mbps downstream and 1-1.6 mbps upstream on 3G.

Force CDMA should be unchecked, your tilt2 is a GSM device. Data works on my tilt2 just fine. Have you checked the APN settings in android it should be something like this:
Name: whatever_you_want_the_name_to_be
APN: wap.cingular
Username: [email protected]
Password: cingular1
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
This worked nicely. I guess I missed where they said you have to put that in, lol. Thanks for the help, now I can use Android a little more, and hopefully they get a fully functional version going here soon.
Appreciate that, it was exactly what I was looking for.

In Android go to Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names
See if your providers APN Settings are there and correct, if there are no settings hit menu and add a new APN.
A full list of APN Settings can be found here http://www.androidonhtc.com/wiki/Carrier_network_settings

I knew exactly what I have. I knew it was a GSM device, but was trying the Force CDMA to try and get it working. I had a 99.9% feeling that it wouldn't work, but gave it a try (That is how you learn. When Thomas Edison was asked about how he failed 2000 ways to make a light bulb his reply was "I didn't fail to make a light bulb, I learned 2000 ways to not make a light bulb"). You might want to think again before accusing someone of something.
I got a Samsung Galaxy SII T989 new, for free, off of my uncle who gets phones for promotional purposes. It's a T-mobile phone, and I'm on AT&T. I paid for an unlock code and successfully unlocked my phone for use on AT&T. I can text, call, and use WiFi, but can't get the data to work. (I also can't send or receive MMS messages, not sure if it's related. HELP!

couple things have you asked on the AT&T forum and have you done a google search on how to get your Tmobile phone to work on AT&T?
next is have you changed or rather added the new apn? if any of this is an issue for you I would say your best bet is to trade the phone on craigslist for someone with the skyrocket.
since the two phones are interchangeable as far as roms go I would suspect with a little more digging you will find your answer... check here

^ +1 apn should do the trick, pretty typical for unlocked phones to not have the apns on the sim. Manual programming is going to be fun if you are new to android
Thank you!
Thanks so much! I did that, turned on packet data, and it seems to be working now. Again, thank you so much for your help, muchly appreciated!

I just bought a Asus Padfone 2 and love it, problem is I have T-mobile(USA) and can't seen to seen MMS or get 4G internet. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, its running android 4.1.1. I have tried setting it up using basic setting that I found online but did not help. Any help welcome.
You won't be able to get 4G working, because the padfone 2 doesn't support the US' bands
As for MMS, I know nothing, sorry
The current version is released for Asia market only. Unfortunately the bands won't work here in the US.
Personally I'm waiting for the US version to be released.

Hello, I was looking to purchase this phone as well. I know the 4G will not work, but are you even able to get the 3G working with this phone on T-Mobile or is it hit and miss? I've had international phones pickup 3G, most of the time its briefly. Me and my wife use to have the old LG KS-20 cell phones. When she make Trips to Houston, TX it would pick up a 3G signal, or at least this is what she told me. So I think it would be safe to say (but don't quote me on it) that it would only work constantly in areas that T-mobile have there newest towers. Just idea/opinion. Could anyone confirm?

I live in Houston and it is true that we have some 1900mhz towers and you can get 3G on some iPhones and stuff, but for the most part in most cities I think you can expect Edge speeds on any non AWS bands phone.
As for OP's MMS issue, what APN are you using?

Excellent!
Where you able to get non edge speeds on download? T-mobile has 2100mhz down 1700mhz up from my understanding so it might be possible to get better download speeds.
I have scoured forum after forum and have not been able to find a successful fix to this issue.
I have tried the APN fix that has shown up a couple times to no avail...
i am running the Slim Bean 4.2.2 rom with the kt747 kernel.
anybody else having this issue still? Any help would be most appreciated...
Also been frustrated with this. Go SMS pro seems to be working but it's not an ideal work around. Hopefully it'll get fixed. The ROM istoo beautiful to leave... Lol
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
4.2.2 as a whole is still a little rough around the edges, most likely this is not rom-specific and will be fixed as it becomes more stable
Best advice i have for now is to just go with the workarounds

I know you mentioned that APN fixes didn't work for you, but this one worked for me back when I was on LiquidSmooth (4.2.2). Since then I've flashed both SlimBean (4.2.2) and my current Rom, CarbonROM (v1.3, 4.2.2) and the MMS has been working fine ever since.
Maybe if you try the APN method on a different ROM, then switch back over to SlimBean? I'm grasping at straws here, but maybe that'd work?

MMS
I was having the same problem, getting nowhere and being SO frustrated.. until someone elsewhere suggested making sure you only have one APN and it's fully filled out.
IE : On my phone I'm using Mobilicity and it had set up 2 individual APNs, 1 for WAP and a 2nd APN for MMS and filled them out individually (each lacking the settings of the other).
I edited the first APN and included all the same information that was in the 2nd one (MMS) in the first APN (so combined them).
MMS now working.
Mobilicity
APN: wap.davewireless.com

Hello, sorry if this has already been brought up but I haven't seen anything concrete. I have a t-mobile S4 currently running on att. It seems to work ok, but should I do anything extra like flash an att kernel? So far the only issues I have is that visual voicemail won't work, and the signal stops every now and then and reconnects like fifteen second later.
Running liquid smooth Rom atm.
Thanks!

Have you changed the APNs to AT&T's?
About Visual voicemail, do you mean T-Mobile's Visual Voicemail app? If so, you can not use it anymore, because you need to have T-Mobile service.

Sorry I am still pretty new to droid, how do I update my APN and what should I update it to?
Thanks!

Because you have a T-Mobile device, stick with the T-Mobile kernels. As far as what APNs to use:
The AT&T APN's I have used in the past with success to get LTE are:
Name: ATT LTE
APN: pta
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MC: 310
MNC: 410
APN type: default,supl,mms
For the "phone" APN, just replace "pta" with "phone". The other values should be the same; although I never got LTE/4G with that APN.
