Screen protectors

Hey, I've never used a screen protector on my arc, and though the scratch resistant screen is brilliant, I think I will use a screen protector for future use. What screen protector do you recommend me get from either ebay or amazon? I do not want to pay alot for one but I also do not want a rubbish one haha

There are a lot of screen protectors out there but what I have heard is that Copter and Invisible shield should be nice protectors.
Note, that some protectors comes with a liquid for mounting it. Be really careful not to get any of this liquid into the phone.
I personally don't use any protector but I think it's great that there are a lot of options available on the market today.
If you are living in Europe go to a nearby store where you can buy a voucher for crocfol.de.
15€ for 2 screenprotectors!
I've got one on my screen and it fits perfectly and has no ( not a single one!) Bubbles under the surface.
I really recommend it.

Arc has a factory applied screen protector...
And use search, we have a thread about screen protectors.

Were you ever be able to take it of your screen? I can't get it off... What is the point of a factory placed screenprotector when you cant take it of?
So that means I got two screen protectors on my screen? I think the screen just looks a bit like there is a screen protector, but there isn't.

I took it off, took 5 mins, but when you have a corner it goes off easily.
Yes, you have 2 protectors on the screen.

you can get 2 types gloss and matt, because i use my phone outdoors in the daytime alot the matt version has better anti glare.
the screen doesnt look too dark or loss of quality but you can see very easy in the daytime, got it from local phone shop
ZAGG invisible shield is the best screen protector i've ever seen, and tried on i-phone

Matte back cover

Hey, anyone got a ebay or Amazon link for a quite cheap black matte back cover. I do not like the plastic one on my arc, thanks

[Q] Is the Sony Xperia Z durable?

I'm thinking of getting one on a 2 year contract, will the phone last for 2 years? I mean it's glass on the front and the back right?
And is the reception and call quality good? Can anyone tell me their experience with this phone so far?

You can post here, of course, but I'm not sure that you have a good answer to your request.
It was just a suggest
I think Xperia Z can last longer than Samsung and LG
I always fould people have their samsung screen cracked (some people say LG is weak too)
Sony phones are usually harder compared to most other brand (maybe not as hard as Nokia)
still, people usually found that XZ can be scrached easilly.
One problem of XZ is that the battery cannot be removed normally by us
Since you said u're going to use it for two years, i'm afraid the battery may get bad, then u need to pay sony for expensive replace

Yes, it's scratched easy but it has a pre installed screen protector right?
Yes, there's screen protector that can be removed. But some found that removing the screen protector will also remove the SONY logo
I actually dont mean that the screen is easy to be scrached, but some other parts of the phone
(Some people tell me about it, I'm not sure which part is it exactly)

I prefer a phone that's completely unbranded.
Whenever someone asks me what phone it is I tell them it's a Sony and they're amazed.
Now to get rid of the "Xperia" from the back cover

Removing the pre installed screen protector is the stupidest thing you can do .. It releases all the pressure of the shatter proof glass so now it can crack with the slightest drop ...

It's not hard to apply another screen protector without the Sony logo.
Can't really call it shatter proof glass if it cracks without a screen protector :/
Shatter Resistance. Not shatter proof.

Hmm
You already took it down?? (Well, this is your personal preference. I wont be like u...)
That protector actually have another function...
Sony said that it can reduce internal reflaction of the screen to give a more clear image.
Still, I would recommend u to buy a screen protector yourself.

[Q]Screen protector

I had screen protector on my Arc S and i took it off, i was wondering if there is another one, btw it was on when I got my phone, and it was like an ordinary screen protector when I took it off. So my question is, is this scratch resistant glass under it? And do I need another screen protector?
Thanks in advance...

Xperia arc doesn't have scrach resistant glas it has a factory screen protector that comes built in and it pretty hard to remove it,but if you remove that screen protector than you need to put on another one 'cause your screen is gonna get scratched. My built in screen protector was scratched so i removed it but i applied a new one,it's not as god as original but it keeps my phone from scratching.

Xperia Z1 accessories

Guys, just thought to share this with fellow z1's owner. For the screen protector, u guys should try the skinomi from amazon, they have protector for both front and back, with various options. The thing i like about this screen protector is unlike the magnetic one, this one isn't prone to fingerprint. Also, Next launcher is a very good launcher with many theme for your z1.
Did you not see the Z1 accessories section
